This study is the first study in Indonesia that examines the factors that influence financial anxiety. Financial anxiety is a negative psychological impact where there is a decrease in various aspects so that, in total, it causes stress levels to jump. This study focuses on adolescents who live in Surabaya, which, based on BPS data, the city of Surabaya has the largest population in East Java and is dominated by adolescents. This study aims to determine the effect of income, debt, financial knowledge, and financial satisfaction on financial anxiety. Data were collected by distributing online questionnaires with random sampling methods to 154 respondents. Then, data were tabulated in excel, analyzed and processed using multiple linear regression in SPSS. The result of this study indicates that none of the independent variables affects financial anxiety. This is presumably due to the lack of public knowledge about financial anxiety, especially among Surabaya adolescents. Few studies examine financial anxiety as the dependent variable, which thought to cause limited public knowledge about this topic. Therefore, this study is expected to increase knowledge, literacy, and public awareness regarding financial anxiety, especially to adolescents in Surabaya.

The study examined the livelihood assets and socio-economic characteristics of communities to flood hazards In Niger Delta, Nigeria. The population of the study consists of communities impacted by flood within the Niger Delta States. Purposive and random sampling methods were adopted in selecting the sample size of the respondents for this study as three of those most vulnerable Local Government Areas are selected. A self-designed instruments titled “Livelihood Assets and Socio-economic Characteristics of Communities” were used for data collection. Face and content validities of the instruments were ensured. Its instrument consists of 10-item while grand mean statistics was used to test the null hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The study found among others that considering the various factors that may have contributed to flooding residents’ strategy to mitigate and survive its effects are imminent. Actions to control and/or cope with the factors that are mainly responsible for flooding in the study area are more than necessary in order to save human lives and forestall loss of properties to flood ravage. Based on the findings, the study recommended that massive campaign against improper dumping of refuse and public awareness of flood risks should be highlighted; creation of awareness among people living in disaster-prone areas of the risk they face and how best to respond when it occurs can be done to enhance local people’s confidence and empower them to act when faced with danger and there should be policies that target the marginalized in society, such as women, children, elderly, or the poor otherwise these groups will remain most vulnerable.

The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of implementing SAK EMKM for SMEs through four indicators of reflection, namely the quality of human resources as measured by five indicators. Small business perception is measured by seven reflex indicators. MSME understanding is measured by five specific indicators. Socialization of SAK EMKM is measured using five reflection indicators. This type of research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study was 11,746 MSMEs in the food and beverage sector in the city of Tangerang. The survey sample was 100 respondents from MSME actors, obtained using practical or random sampling methods. The data analysis used, with SmartPLS software version 3.2.1, is based on a model that you can think of as an outer model, and an inner model, with hypothesis testing. This study found that the quality of human resources affected the implementation of SAK EMKM, the perception of SAK EMKM actors did not affect the implementation of SAK EMKM, the understanding of SMEs affected the implementation of SAK EMKM, and SAK EMKM socialization did not affect SAK EMKM.

The purpose of this study is to prove: (1) Time pressure, locus of control, the action of supervision and materiality partially affect the premature termination of the audit procedures (2) Time pressure, locus of control, supervision and materiality simultaneously affect the premature termination on the audit procedures. This research was conducted in Public Accountant firm in Yogyakarta region of which total 12 samples of KAP, by distributing 105 questionnaires, and 57 questionnaires were returned (54%). 34 of the returned questionnaires can be processed (34%). The samples in this study were determined by using non-probability sampling, one of purposive sampling methods. Data analysis consisted of: (1) validity test, reliability test and classical assumption. The result showed that the instruments used are quite reliable and valid (2) multiple linear regression analysis. The results are (a) Some of independent variables partially affect premature termination of the audit procedure, while the action of supervision does not influence premature termination of audit procedures (b) All independent variables influence simultaneously to the premature termination of the audit procedures (c) All independent variables showed that as much as 55% it affects on premature termination of the audit procedures, the rest of it are influenced by other variables. (3) Friedman Test. The result shows that there are order of priority of audit procedures being terminated.

Cities around the globe are embracing the Healthy Cities approach to address urban health challenges. Public awareness is vital for successfully deploying this approach but is rarely assessed. In this study, we used internet search queries to evaluate the public awareness of the Healthy Cities approach applied in Shenzhen, China. The overall situation at the city level and the intercity variations were both analyzed. Additionally, we explored the factors that might affect the internet search queries of the Healthy Cities approach. Our results showed that the public awareness of the approach in Shenzhen was low. There was a high intercity heterogeneity in terms of interest in the various components of the Healthy Cities approach. However, we did not find a significant effect of the selected demographic, environmental, and health factors on the search queries. Based on our findings, we recommend that the city raise public awareness of healthy cities and take actions tailored to health concerns in different city zones. Our study showed that internet search queries can be a valuable data source for assessing the public awareness of the Healthy Cities approach.
