Abstract. This study aims to prove the effect of financial performance and investment decisions on firm value with dividend policy as an intervening variable. The research method uses a quantitative approach with financial report documentation on chemical sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2017. Data analysis using classical assumption test and path analysis. The results showed that financial performance has a negative and significant effect on firm value, investment decisions and dividend policy does not affect company value, financial performance and investment decisions have a positive and significant effect on dividend policy, and partially financial performance and investment decisions have an influence on value company with dividend policy as an intervening variable. Keywords: financial performance, investment decisions, firm value, dividend policy

Managers who are responsible for the management of companies are faced with two important decisions - investment and funding. The right investment decisions and choice of funding sources are important because they affect the company's financial performance. The selection of the types of assets to be invested and the right types of financing sources result in optimal returns for the company. It reflects good company performance and future prospects. In addition, optimal return is a good sign for investors. Companies that perform well experience increase in the value of their firm. This study examined the effect of investment decisions and the selection of appropriate sources of funds on the performance of the company and the consequent impact on the firm value. The study was conducted in two parts. The first part examined the effect of investment decisions on long-term assets with long-term funding on the rate of return and firm value. The second part examined the effect of investment decisions on the company's short-term assets and funding for financial performance and firm value. The case study used in this research is a consumer goods sub-sector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2010 to 2017. Path analysis is the data analysis tools that was used. The results of data analysis showed that the asset structure has an effect on financial performance and firm value. The capital structure affects the financial performance but does not affect the firm value of the company. Financial performance was measured by ROI.

This research  aims to determine the  influence of investment decisions, financing decisions, and dividend policy on the firm value at Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research conducted during 7 year (period 2003 to 2009) to the 347 company as sample. The results show that: firts, investment decisions positively affects on the firm value, this means that if company improve the amount of invesment hence company value will mount. Second, financing decisions not positively affects on the firm value, this means that investor candidate in assessing company not see where from source of financing company. Third, dividend policy positively affects on the firm value, this means that excelsior of deviden, stockholder will  more prosperous.

The aim of this research to determine the effect of Managerial Ownership (MOWN) on Company value (Tobins) mediated by devidend Policy (DPR) in companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for perid of 2013-2017. The population on this study were 14 companies with 7 companies that became the study sample. Samples were taken by purposive sampling. The method used is quantitative by emphasizing numeral data. The data used in this study are secondary data taken from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique using the path analysis test. The results showed that managerial ownership had a significant positive effect on firm value; Managerial ownership has a significant positive effect on Devidend Policy; Devidend policy has a positive effect on company value; and Devidend policy mediates between managerial ownership of company value.

Study was conducted in the consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015-2018. The aim is to determine the effect of financial performance, dividend policy, and age of the company on the value of the company which is moderated by the size of the company. The sample of 37 companies. The variables used are liquidity, capital structure, profitability, dividend policy, the age of the company to the value of the company with the size of the company as moderation. Results showed that there were influences on financial performance, dividend policy, company age, company size on firm value and company size able to moderate the influence of capital structure, profitability, dividend policy, company age on company value and company size unable to moderate the effect of liquidity on firm value.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of profitability, capital structure, and investment decisions on firm value in the property, real estate and building construction sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. The population in this study were 83 companies. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling and produced a sample of 30 companies. The data analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression, while the analysis tool used is SPSS 25. This research hypothesis states that profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value, capital structure has a positive and significant effect on firm value, investment decisions have a positive and significant effect. to company value.

This study aims to examine the effect of investment decisions, funding decisions, dividend policy, profitability and company size on firm value. In this study, company value is measured by Price to Book Value (PBV), Price Earning Ratio (PER) is used as a proxy for investment decisions, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) is used as a proxy for funding decisions, Devided Payout Ratio (DPR) is used as a proxy dividend policy, Return On Equity (ROE) is used as a proxy for profitability and natural logarithm (ln) is used as a proxy for measure of firm value. This study uses a purposive sampling method to determine the number of samples. The sample used in this study were 10 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which published financial statements for the 2013-2017. The data analysis method uses multiple regression. The results showed that investment decisions had a positive effect on firm value. However, funding decisions had no effct on firm value, dividend policy had a negatif effect on firm value, profit had a positive effect on firm value and company size had a negatif affect the firm's value.

This study aims to determine whether the financial performance measured by using CAR, ROA, LDR, BOPO, and CSR can affect the value of banking companies as measured by using PBV. This study uses secondary data taken from the annual report of banking companies during the year 2012-2016 listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The number of samples of this study as many as 25 banking companies with a total of 125 data. This research method is quantitative research. The results of this study indicate the effect of CAR, ROA, LDR, BOPO, and CSR variables on firm value measured by using PBV in a banking company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study aims to determine how to influence simultaneously and partially investment decisions, debt policy and dividend policy on firm value in mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2017. The research method used in this study is descriptive and associative methods. The population in this study were mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2017, which amounted to 43 companies. The sampling technique used in this study is non probability sampling with purposive sampling method, so that the number of samples obtained is 8 companies. While the data analysis used in this study is panel data regression analysis with the fixed effect method. The results of the study show that partially investment decisions and debt policies have a positive effect on firm value. While dividend policy has a negative effect on firm value. In addition, the results of the study simultaneously show that investment decisions, debt policies and dividend policies affect the value of the company. The amount of investment decisions, debt policy and dividend policy in contributing influence to earnings management is 34.14%.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of institutional leadership, tax planning and foreign board of commissioners on firm value. The population in this study were 615 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The sample was chosen using purposive sampling to get a total sample of 325 companies with a total of 975 observations of company data. The results of this study indicate that institutional leadership and tax planning have no role in increasing company value. While the foreign board of commissioners showed a significant influence on the value of the company. This proves that there is a need for diversity in the structure of the board that can trigger an increase in the value of the company. This study aims to analyze the effect of investment decisions, funding decisions, and dividend policy on the value of the company. This research is classified as causative research. The populations in this study are all Manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. The sampling technique in this study is using purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 213 samples. The data used is secondary data. The data analysis method used is multiple regression. The results showed that investment decision variables affect the value of the company in a positive direction, funding decisions affect the value of the company in a negative direction, and dividend policy affects the value of the company with a positive direction on Manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. With this research, it is expected that researchers who can further conduct research related to factors that influence the value of the company whose impact is higher than what researchers have met.
