Abstract: The purposes of this research are: (1) to know the level of influence of achievement motivation toward professional competence of mathematics teachers of Junior High Schools in Jepara District; (2) to know the level of influence of teachers?óÔé¼Ôäó participation in MGMP toward professional competence of mathematics teachers of Junior High Schools in Jepara District; (3) to know the level of influence of achievement motivation and teachers participation in MGMP toward professional competence of mathematics teachers of Junior High Schools in Jepara District. The population of this research is mathematics teachers of Junior High Schools in Jepara regency with the total number of 133 people, the sampel was 97 people selected randoly. Data collection is questionnaire. Data analysis by descriptive analysis, prerequisite test, and test the hypothesis used the simple regression linier and double regression linier. The result of research showed that motivation achievement has influence toward professional competence of teachers, the teachers?óÔé¼Ôäó participation in MGMP has influence toward professional competence of teachers, motivation achievement and teachers?óÔé¼Ôäó participation in MGMP have influence toward professional competence of teachers.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh motivasi berprestasi terhadap kompetensi profesional guru matematika SMP di Kabupaten Jepara, (2) untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh partisipasi guru dalam MGMP terhadap kompetensi profesional guru matematika SMP diKabupaten Jepara, (3) untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh motivasi berprestasi dan partisipasi guru dalam MGMP secara bersama-sama terhadap kompetensi profesional guru matematika SMP di Kabupaten Jepara. Populasi dalampenelitian ini adalah seluruh guru matematika SMP di Kabupaten Jepara yang berjumlah 133 orang, diperoleh sampel sebanyak 97 orang dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan adalahanalisis deskriptif, uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis yang meliputi analisis regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi berprestasi terhadap kompetensi profesional guru, terdapat pengaruh positif partisipasi guru dalam MGMP terhadapkompetensi profesional guru, terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi berprestasi dan partisipasi dalam MGMP secara bersama-sama terhadap kompetensi profesional guru.Kata-kata Kunci: motivation achievement, teacher participation in MGMP and professional competence of teachers.

This study aimed to determine: (1) the effect of reward on teachers’performance at state junior high schools of Babat Supat District; (2) the effect of achievement motivation on teachers’ performance atstate junior high schools of Babat Supat District; and (3) the effect of reward and achievement motivation on teachers’ performance atstate junior high schools of Babat Supat District. The data in this study were collected through distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results of filling out the questionnaire were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis through t test, F test, and determination coefficient test. The population in this study were all state junior high schoolsteachers at Babat Supat District, totaling 134 people. The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling by using Slovin formula to obtain 100 teachers as the research sample. The results of the study found that: (1) there was an effect of reward on teachers’performance at state junior high schools of Babat Supat District; (2) there was an effect of Achievement Motivation on teachers’performance at state junior high schools of Babat Supat District; (3) there was aneffect of reward and achievement motivation simultaneously on teachers’ performance at state junior high schools of Babat Supat District.

This study aims to determine the application of the rules (rules) and routines (routines) in the learning process of Physical Education in SMP Negeri throughout the Banyumas Regency. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The research method used was a survey method. The subjects in this study were physical education teachers in Banyumas Regency, totaling 36 schools. The sampling technique uses a total sampling technique. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire application of rules (rules) with a validity coefficient of 0.925 and a reliability coefficient of 0.991, as well as a routine questionnaire (routines) with a validity coefficient of 0.925 and a reliability coefficient of 0.987. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis presented in the form of a percentage. The results showed that: (1) The application of the rules in Physical Education learning in state junior high schools in Banyumas Regency was in the category of "very less" by 0% (0 teachers), "less" by 0% (0 teachers), "Enough" at 30.56% (11 teachers), "good" at 69.44% (25 teachers), and "very good" at 0.00% (0 teachers). (2) Implementation of routines in Physical Education learning in state junior high schools in Banyumas Regency is in the category of "very less" by 0% (0 teachers), "less" by 0% (0 teachers), "enough" by 69, 44% (25 teachers), "good" by 27.78% (10 teachers), and "very good" by 2.78% (1 teacher). With these results, it can be concluded that the application of rules and routines in SMPs throughout the Banyumas Regency is in the sufficient category.

Research on the implementation of physical education learning at State Junior High Schools during the Covid 19 pandemic in Lubuklinggau City. The subjects of this study involved physical education teachers and students in state junior high schools in Lubuklinggau City. The data analysis technique used a qualitative descriptive analysis. Collecting data using observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Based on the results of the research data analysis above, it can be seen from the implementation of Physical Education learning at State Junior High Schools during the Covid 19 pandemic in Lubuklinggau City, which has a percentage of (50.20%) for Physical Education teachers with moderate criteria and for students (67.03%) with criteria good. The results obtained through observation, questionnaires and interviews.

This research is motivated by the competence of the Mathematics teacher of Dumai Junior High School which is below the national average value. This study aims to analyze how much influence of achievement motivation, teacher participation, and teacher participation in MGMP together on teacher competence. To achieve this goal, this paper used a survey research type with a quantitative approach. The research population was all Mathematics teachers of Dumai for Middle School who had participated in the 2015 UKG, totaling 88 people. With the total sampling technique, the entire population was determined as a sample. The data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence of achievement motivation on the competence of Mathematics teachers by 26.3%. There is a positive and significant effect of teacher participation in the MGMP on the competence of Junior High School Mathematics teacher by 22.5%. There is a jointly significant effect of 30.8% achievement motivation and teacher participation. The achievement motivation variable has a greater influence than the teacher participation variable. This means that the high and low competence of junior high school mathematics teachers in Dumai can be influenced by achievement motivation and teacher participation in MGMP.

<p>ABSTRACT<br />The research aims to know the effect of teaching media and grammar mastery towards students‘ speaking skill. This research was conducted at State Junior High Schools Cisauk Tangerang Banten with 574 population and the sample was 60 students which was gained through simple random sampling. This research is a kind of ex-periment method which means to give the different treatments upon two students‘ learning groups. The collec-tion of the data is done by giving multiple choice test. The gain data was then analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The research findings show that there is a significant effect of teaching media towards students‘ speaking skill at State Junior High Schools Cisauk in Tangerang Banten, there is a significant effect of grammar mastery towards students‘ speaking skill at State Junior High Schools Cisauk in Tangerang Banten, and there are significant interactive effects of teaching media and grammar mastery towards students‘ speaking skill at State Junior High Schools Cisauk in Tangerang Banten. Therefore, it can be recommended that the teachers should provide teaching media in teaching speaking skill and the students should have a good grammar mastery to have a good speaking skill.<br />Keywords: Teaching Media, Grammar Mastery, Speaking Skill<br />ABSTRAK<br />Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran dan penguasaan tata bahasa terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Cisau, Tan-gerang, Banten dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 574 orang siswa dan sampel sebanyak 60 orang siswa yang didapat dari teknik random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu memberikan perla-kuan berbeda terhadap dua kelompok siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes pilihan gan-da. Data yang didapat kemudian dianalisis menggunakan descriptive analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh media pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa di SMPN Cisau, Tangerang, Ban-ten, terdapat pengaruh penguasaan tata bahasa terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswadi SMPN Cisauk, Tange-rang, Banten, dan terdapat pengaruh interaktif yang signifikan media pembelajaran dan penguasaan tata bahasa terhadap kemampuan berbicara sisw di SMPN Cisauk, Tangerang, Banten. Oleh karena itu, para guru dianjur-kan untuk menyediakan media pembelajaran dalam pengajaran berbicara dan para siswa hendaknya menguasai tata bahasa yang baik agar mempunyai keterampilan berbicara yang baik.<br />Kata Kunci: pengaruh media, penguasaan tata Bahasa, kemampuan berbicara</p>

AbstractThis study discussen the psychological aspects off the characters in the Javanese play script Kidung Pinggir Lurung. the purpose of this study are (1) Describe the intrinsic structure in Javanese Kidung Pinggir Lurung play, (2) Describe and explain the psychological aspects of id, ego, and superego personality in Javanese Kidung Pinggir Lurung skits, (3) Describe moral values contained in the Javanese play script Kidung Pinggir Lurung, (4) Reveal the relevance of the Javanese play script Kidung Pinggir Lurung as a Javanese teaching material with material studying class IX Jaanese drama. this study uses a literary psychology approach with the theory of Sigman Freud and the Kidung Pinggir Lurung manuscript as the object of his study. The researct method that uses descriptive analysis. The result of the researct show in the Kidung Pinggir Lurung manuscript there are aspect off literary psychology or personality figures that include id, ego, and superego. There are also moral values that can be used as in ilustration in everyday life, which values are appropriate to be applied in everyday life. The Java Kidung Pinggir Lurung play script can be implemented in cheacing materials in junior high schools with KD Examining the Javanese Teaching Ceremony Class IX Semester 1.

Even as this issue of the Mathematics Teacher is different, we expect all issues of volume 66 to have a new aspect. There is a different color, a different format, but more important, a different emphasis, As mathematics teachers, the members of the Editorial Panel are aware of the need of NCTM memhers for help in meeting classroom problems. Our de-termination to meet this need is expressed by our new statement of the purpose of this journal, namely, “The Mathematics Teacher is devoted to the improvement of mathematics instruction in the junior high schools, senior high schools, two-year colleges, and teacher-education colleges.”

<p>A study on the level of difficulty of the mathematics subject has been carried out in<br />the Junior High Schools Aroun the City of Kupang. The samples were taken purposively among year 8 students and their mathematics teachers in the second semester from 8 public schools and 5 private schools. The number of samples was 659 students and 33 teachers. The analysis was conducted on the topics of Comparison, Aritmatic, Lines and Angles and Triangles and Quadrilateral Shapes. The study shows that the most challenging mathematic topics for the year 8 students in the City of Kupang is Lines and Angles followed by the calculation of area of irregular plane shapes particularly on pentagon forms</p>
