The effect of rewards and achievement motivation on teachers’ performance

This study aimed to determine: (1) the effect of reward on teachers’performance at state junior high schools of Babat Supat District; (2) the effect of achievement motivation on teachers’ performance atstate junior high schools of Babat Supat District; and (3) the effect of reward and achievement motivation on teachers’ performance atstate junior high schools of Babat Supat District. The data in this study were collected through distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results of filling out the questionnaire were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis through t test, F test, and determination coefficient test. The population in this study were all state junior high schoolsteachers at Babat Supat District, totaling 134 people. The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling by using Slovin formula to obtain 100 teachers as the research sample. The results of the study found that: (1) there was an effect of reward on teachers’performance at state junior high schools of Babat Supat District; (2) there was an effect of Achievement Motivation on teachers’performance at state junior high schools of Babat Supat District; (3) there was aneffect of reward and achievement motivation simultaneously on teachers’ performance at state junior high schools of Babat Supat District.

The results of the study found that: (1) there was a significant influence between principal leadership on teachers’ performance; (2) there was a significant influence between compensation on teachers’ performance; (3) there was a significant influence between principal leadership and compensation on teachers performance.

A study entitled �The Influence of Characteristics, Attitude and Skill of Pempek Entrepreneurs in Palembang toward Successful Business Achievement� is an entrepreneurship study related to the influencing factors of succesful business achievement of pempek entrepreneurs in Palembang. This purpose of this study is to find out whether or not the entrepreneurs� characteristics, attitude and skill factors affect the succesful business achievement. Sample was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The hypothesis was tested by using multiple regression analysis. The t-test of SPSS calculation implied that the significant value of characteristics was 0.709, attitude was 0.213 and entrepreneurship skill was 0.287 (less than 0.05). Therefore, the results of the study implied that there was no correlation between characteristics, attitude and entrepreneurship skill of pempek entrepreneurs in Palembang toward succesful business achievement.

This research purpose how the influence of their own capital and loan capital of net income cooperative in Sukabumi City. This research is quantitative descriptive study using multiple regression analysis. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling where the sampling is based on certain criteria. From the established criteria, obtained 11 (eleven) sample cooperative in sukabumi city with the observation period of 2 (two) years for each sample cooperative. The research analysis tools using multiple regression analysis. Simultaneous hypothesis testing using the F and partial test using t-test with a probability level of 5 percent (0,05). F-test result explain that the own capital and loan capital Simultaneous have a positive and significant effect on net income cooperative. t-test results showed that the own capital have a positive and significant effect on net income. While loan capital is not have significant impact on net income cooperative in Sukabumi City.Key words : Equity, Loan Capital, Net Profit Margin

Zolid Agung Perkasa company is a company that runs in food & beverageindustry and has been established since February 2, 2015. This company sellsproduct that named PaoPao, that is, the product with a various food menu thatare focus more on chinese food. This product is done because there in anopportunity in which nowadays many people want things all fast and affordable.The matter that is consumers who purchase PaoPao products do not purchasethat cause unstable sale. The purpose of this research in this study aims to knowwhere the effect of service quality on consumer purchasing decision of PaoPao.The total population that used in this research is 63 people. The samplingtechnique that in used in this research is non-probability sampling by using saturated sampling technique. The number of samples used 63 people. Theanalysis technique used in this research is multiple regression analysis techniqueusing SPSS version 20. The result of this research shows that tangible (X1),reliability (X2), assurance (X3), responsiveness (X4), empathy (X5) significantyaffect the purchasing decision (Y).

This study aimed to investigate: (1) the influence of principals’ managerial on the quality of education; (2) the influence of committee participation on the quality of education; and (3) the influence of the principals’ managerial and committee participation simultaneously on the quality of education. The data in this study were collected through distributing questionnaires to respondents. Them they were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis through t test, F test, and determination coefficient test. The population in this study were all teachers at Elementary Schools of Babat Supat District which consisted of 294 teachers. The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling with a sample size of 75 people. The results of the study showed that: (1) principals’ managerial individually influences the quality of education at Elementary Schools of Babat Supat District; (2) participation of school committee individually influences the quality of education at Elementary Schools of Babat Supat District; (3) principals’ managerial and school committee participation simultaneously influence the quality of education at Elementary Schools of Babat Supat District.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh liabilitas dan ekuitas terhadap profitabilitas. Indikator untuk mengukur profitabilitas menggunakan Return on Equity (ROE), sementara kewajiban menggunakan rasio hutang jangka pendek terhadap ekuitas (STDE) dan ekuitas pemegang saham menggunakan rasio rasio prorietary (PR). Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Infrastruktur Primarindo Asia, tbk. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik non probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling, dengan sampel yang digunakan adalah selama 8 tahun. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan liabilitas jangka pendek, dan modal tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Kata kunci: Hutang Jangka Pendek (STDE), Prorietary Ratio (PR) dan Return on Equity (ROE). Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of liabilities and equity on profitability. Indicators to measure profitability use Return on Equity (ROE), while liabilities use the ratio of short-term debt to equity (STDE) and shareholder equity using the ratio of prorietary ratio (PR). this research was conducted at PT. Primarindo Asia infrastructure, tbk. This type of research is associative research. The sampling technique used is a non probability sampling technique that is purposive sampling, with the sample used is for 8 years. The analysis technique used in this study is the classic assumption test and multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the regression analysis shows short-term liabilities, and capital alone has no influence on profitability either partially or simultaneously. The Aims of the research are to know and analyze : (1) the effect of leadership qualities, work motivation and self-efficacy simultaneously on teacher performances; (2) the effect of leadership qualities on teacher performances; (3) the effect of work motivation on teacher performances; (4) the effect of self-efficacy on teacher performances of teachers of Government Junior High Schools in Tawangsari, Sukoharjo. The type of the research is descriptive quantitative research. The research was carried out in Sukoharjo. The population of the research were teachers of Government Junior High Schools in Tawangsari, Sukoharjo consisted 132 teachers. The research uses Proportional Random Sampling to choose sample in order to represent the penomena. The data collecting method were done using questionnaires and document techniques. The data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The conclusion of the analysis were : (1) there is a significant effect of leadership qualities, work motivation and self-efficacy simultaneously on teacher performances; (2) there is a significant effect of leadership qualities on teacher performances; (3) there is a significant effect of work motivation on teacher performances; (4) there is a significant effect of self-efficacy on teacher performances of teachers of Government Junior High Schools in Tawangsari, Sukoharjo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh: (1) motivasi; (2) keyakinan diri; (3) persepsi siswa terhadap apresiasi karya sastra siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survey yang mengandung tiga variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP di Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Sampel sejumlah 383 siswa ditentukan menggunakan teknik proportional stratified sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket motivasi, keyakinan diri, persepsi siswa, dan apresiasi karya sastra. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian ini ada empat. Pertama, motivasi berpengaruh terhadap apresiasi karya sastra. Kedua, keyakinan diri berpengaruh terhadap apresiasi karya sastra. Ketiga, persepsi siswa berpengaruh terhadap apresiasi karya sastra, dan Keempat, motivasi, keyakinan diri, dan persepsi siswa berpengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap apresiasi karya sastra.Kata Kunci: motivasi, keyakinan diri, persepsi, dan apresiasi karya sastra The effect of motivation, self-efficacy, and perception on the literature appreciation of the students of junior high schools AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of: (1) students’ motivation; (2) students’ self-efficacy; (3) students’ perception on the literature appreciation of the students of junior high schools in Kabupaten Lombok Timur. This study used the quantitative approach. This research was a survey containing three independent variables and one dependent variable. The population was all students of junior high schools in Kabupaten Lombok Timur. A sample of 383 students was established using proportional stratified sampling technique. The data were collected using the motivation questionnaire, self-efficacy questionnaire, students’ perception questionnaire, and students’ literature appreciation questionnaire. To determine the effect, the researchers used descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, motivation affects students’ literature appreciation. Second, the self-efficacy affects students’ literature appreciation. Third, the perception affects students’ literature appreciation. Fourth, motivation, self-efficacy, and perceptions simultaneously affect students’ literature appreciation.Keywords: motivation, self-efficacy, perception, students literature appreciation

This study aimed to determine: (1) the effect of teaching experience on teachers’ performance; 2) the an effect of training on teachers’ performance; and (3) the effect of training on teachers’ performance. The data in this study were collected through distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results of filling out the questionnaire were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis through the t test, F test, and determination coefficient test. The population in this study was 703 State Senior High School teachers in Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan Regency. The sample in the study was taken by using purposive sampling technique; thus, the sample of this study were 160 teachers. The results of the study found that: (1) there was an effect of teaching experience on the performance of teachers; 2) There was an effect of training on the performance of the teachers; 3) There was an effect of teaching experience and training simultaneously on the performance of teachers.

This study aims to analyze the effect of recruitment, work discipline, and education level on the performance of the head of affairs in villages in the District of Puring. Data collection using a questionnaire with a Likert scale and a total sample of 92 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is a saturated sampling. The hypothesis was tested using multiple regression analysis techniques, t-test, f test, and coefficient of determination using SPSS for windows version 22.00. The results of this study indicate that recruitment partially does not significantly influence performance, work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on performance, education level partially has a positive and significant effect on performance. Recruitment, work discipline, and education level simultaneously influence performance.
