Generally speaking, the Jewish population world-wide includes also two traditionalsectors: modern orthodox and ultra-orthodox. Both population sectors are characterized by observance of Jewish law and commandments, placing great emphasis on family life and personal modesty. While the general Israeli population, particularly youth, spends about a third of its leisure time watching TV, and another third on internet surfing, the ultra-orthodoxpopulation sector is totally different in this respect. Reading remainsone of the main leisure activities and spiritual leaders of the ultra- orthodox communities insist that both adults and youngsters be exposed only to books and other reading materials upholding and promoting the population sector's values and lifestyle. The demographic reality of large families results in a vast population of young book consumers, for whom reading is an alternative to television and the computer. The main objective of the present exploratory study was to examine the extent to which school libraries in this population sector serve as a "culture agent".

In our article we deal with leisure activities and travel habits of 150 college students from Szolnok. We have analyzed the relationship between the frequencies of watching TV, that is: the time spent watching TV and doing sports. Furthermore, we have also investigated the frequencies of travels, and main motives of choosing travel destinations. We have found that college students have several hours of leisure time daily. Among the recreational activities, the ones that occurred predominantly are watching TV, doing sports, and travelling. It is interesting to note that the relationship between the frequency of watching TV and doing sports has not been significant while the relationship between watching TV occasionally and doing regular physical activity has turned out to be significant. Students who play sports for 1-2 hours a day spend significantly less time in front of the TV compared to their peers who do not do sports. 92% of the students travel at least once a year. The participants of youth tourism are quite price-conscious. In choosing travel destinations favorable prices play an important role.

Research confirms that there is a serious shortage of reading materials in school libraries, especially in developing and emerging countries. Students who were interviewed during surveys, some of whom attend very poor schools which have no electricity and no internet connection, told the survey team that they wanted to be able to read about things which are familiar to them, preferably in their mother tongue. Discussions have been held with school library colleagues about the possibility of children writing their own stories and poems, in their mother tongue, resulting in a series of books where children will respond to a variety of prompts. Members of the school library community throughout the world are being asked for their help to collect the required material. Children’s drawings, and writings will be forwarded to the international team of editors.A publisher has been found for the first open-access book and an editorial team is being formed. Collecting of stories, drawings, poems etc. will begin in 2015. The first prompt is “Why I love my school library.

The focus of this survey is to investigate the status of secondary school libraries in Bangladesh. From the online survey, 91 responses were received. In general, the survey revealed that a significant number of secondary schools have a school library but lack of reading materials and inadequate funding are common. Most of the school libraries provide traditional services such as book lending, in-house book and newspaper reading and only a few have ICT facilities and services, for example, computer, internet and online catalogue search. The finding of this survey has original value and suggestions may help to resolve issues that may adversely impact school library development in Bangladesh.

The school library is a means for teachers and students to find information. The school library provides books or reading materials that can support the learning process. The focus of this research is to develop the information system contained in the school library. Many school libraries still collect data in the conventional way, such as handwritten using a ledger or using excel. The development of this school library system will use the website as a means to process data. The data that has been created will be entered into the data storage using the MySQL application as the database. This research planning uses the SDLC method with the waterfall model. The waterfall model is used because it is considered more efficient in developing school libraries. There are two entities that can use this website, namely library officers and members. Library officers can use the web to process data on book procurement, book borrowing transactions and viewing library reports. Meanwhile, members can fill in the guest book every time they visit the school library and also do book searches. Thus, the school library information system can facilitate the data processing. Book lending and borrowing transactions will also be more efficient and errors in data processing can be reduced.

Higher activity levels were shown during weekends, where the boys were significantly more active than girls (p < 0.001; ES between 0.21 and 0.56), and girls showed more sedentary behaviours than the boys (ES between 0.18 and 0.20). The leisure time physical activities with the highest participation were soccer, recreational swimming, jogging and dancing, while the sedentary activities were listening to music, riding a vehicle and being busy on the phone. Conclusion: Strategies need to be implemented to raise the physical activity levels of Senior Phase learners, especially during weekdays, and to decrease sedentary behaviour. The SMK Negeri 1 Siantar School Library is one of the special libraries located at the SMK Negeri 1 Siantar School. Libraries provide various kinds of library materials such as books, lessons, lesson questions, and other vocational books. After the researcher made observations, the problem that often occurred was books that were borrowed and returned books that had a non-strategic layout, so that library visitors who did not know the placement found it difficult to find the books they wanted to borrow. This research uses data mining techniques, namely the Apriori Algorithm, the Apriori Method is a method for looking for patterns of relationships between one or more items in a dataset. The Apriori method can be used for data on borrowing books at the Siantar 1 State Vocational School School Library, where the composition of the library books (B1) X_Press UN 2019 B. The result of this research is to help library staff arrange the book layout correctly. It is hoped that this research can provide input to the school

The article outlines general characteristics of the originality of forming valeological functions in a school library. The paper objective is to study peculiarities of the valeological support of library-information activities in school libraries, as well as the specifics analysis of their library and cultural-educational work aimed at developing the health culture of this activity subjects The author consistently reveals the peculiarities of forming the valeological function of school libraries under conditions of the information society development and dissemination of information-telecommunication technologies in libraries. The article describes cultural-educational activities of libraries directed to develop the health culture not only in readers (schoolchildren, their parents, teachers), but in librarians themselves. The author applies both general scientific methods of research (analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction, generalization, abstraction, comparative, structural-functional methods, method of system analysis, etc.) and special ones (method of analysis of analog objects, information processing, grouping). While researching the author concludes about necessity of the the following: to equip educational libraries technically; to update and strengthen the information base and book stocks of school libraries; to ensure the access of libraries to information resources, in particular the Internet; to form a unified electronic database of school library collections; to develop a form of resource integration with other educational libraries; to create a standing order on the status of libraries in basic schools; to develop a system for improving the skills of school library staff; to organize special training for school librarians to master their knowledge and skills of a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, the school librarian must be trained according to a separate professional specialization. The social life development requires librarians to know not only the valeology bases, but the ability to navigate in information technologies, school curricula and training courses diversitys. Modern problems of information education and forming a high level of valeological culture can be solved only by combining the efforts of general education institutions and school libraries, teachers and librarians. Pedagogical experience shows that knowledge on the health formation and preservation is a necessary and insufficient factor in students' personality development. To influence the behavior, informative methods should be combined with life skills of effective work and rest, physical activity, rational nutrition, an ability to analyze health issues and make appropriate decisions. Thus, forming health culture through library-information activities provides arming school readers and librarians with knowledge on social and individual health and applying certain information technologies in their activities.
