The decline in live social contact during the Covid-19 pandemic is driving an increase in the demand for social media communication. This study is an in-depth continuation of an earlier study on the topic of self-esteem and value orientations of youth. A survey was conducted and helped to determine the values of life that are broadcast on social media profiles and are actively welcomed by students in Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tik Tok: independence, high aspirations, health and beauty, material values. The high level of activity of the respondents in social networks was investigated and the medium level of Internet addiction was determined. The respondents revealed the level of conformity and individual-typological personality traits. The students are characterized by a high level of anxiety and tension. The conformity level helps to identify the individuals who are most vulnerable to the effects of social media. The terminal and instrumental values of students are investigated: health and beauty, material values, entertainment, family life, self-confidence, love, freedom, rationalism, Irreconcilability to shortcomings, independence, self-control and high claims. Correlation links were found in the indicators of conformism / nonconformism / Internet addiction and value orientations of the individual. Work in groups was carried out with the aim of abandoning a set of social masks, selected taking into account the expectations of others. The work is based on the metaphor of diminution from Slavic myths and fairy tales.

Current problems and challenges require society to pay attention to the values of the younger generation. At the same time, the youth is known to be prone to rebel and protest and tend to take part in unauthorized rallies, which have become significantly more frequent in recent years. This provokes the interest of the society to study the current values and priorities of the Russian youth. The main task is to identify the problems that worry the younger generation and cause them to rebel against society. That is why socio-anthropological studies of young people’s behavior acquire a particular socio-political significance. This study aimed to identify the values and main difficulties of the youth in provincial regional centers and their goals for the near future. The study revealed that material values and welfare problems concern young people more than self-expression and freedom. And thus, our study indirectly confirmed the importance of another problem in Central Russia - the depopulation of the local population. Unresolved problems of housing and social and financial well-being are forcing the younger generation to migrate to more comfortable places to live. Young people are more focused on their welfare problems than participation in social and political life. The youth responded to political topics with difficulty and tried to choose “correct” options rather than be honest. In provincial cities, young people are more modest and less decisive in their goals. The total result of the survey revealed a reluctance to confront social norms, which is probably the consequence of a conservative and strict upbringing. Employment and housing remain primary global life goals for the youth. Minimum wage, caring for the older generation and medical care are also important.

The material and the post-material values of the young generation in the last Soviet decade are analysed according to the theory of human development and compared with the values of the rest of the society. They are further analysed in light of hypocritical dispositions that developed systematically during the Soviet period. The study uses the data of the European Value Survey of 1990. The youngest cohort more preferred post-material values and declared emancipatory aims, but also was more in favour of breaking social norms than the older generation.

Re-enchantment taps well into the current zeitgeist: The rising focus on emotions and post-material values also in organizational context. Enchantment is deeply tied to socially generated emotions. Our aim is to develop the concept of copassion, referring to the process of responding to the positive emotion of a fellow human being. Concepts are crucial as they shape our understanding of the world. Our core claim is relating to our colleagues’ positive emotions not only enables and maintains but also fosters enchantment at work. In this article, by laying the ground by discussing enchantment and the theoretical framework of intersubjectivity, we will link copassion to the physiological and evolutionary basis of humans, as well as explore its conceptual neighbors. Finally, we will discuss intersubjectivity, and particularly mutual recognition, as well as the inseparability of compassion and copassion in human experience at work, and its implications to the study of enchantment. This study aims to describe how foodies consume popular-commercial foods. In this study, the method used is qualitative. The informant determination technique used is purposive (deliberate). The data collection used is by observation, in-depth interviews with informants, and confirmed by various literature studies that are relevant to the research topic. The results show that the concept of eating itself is still relatively different for each foodie. However, the similarities are related to the limits, such as eating which is limited by the availability of rice or not in a dish, snacking as a 'light' food (practical and fast), and a booster that can be anything but with smaller portions. Foodies have also transformed non-material to material values from food into meanings that are used as a medium for social interaction.

The article is devoted to the problem of monetary identity, which needs a detailed study in the context of the transformation processes of the modern world. The relevance of the study is that the identity of modern man is becoming unsteady. In seeking guidance for constructing one’s own “Self”, a person finds himself at a crossroads. They lose the identity they had from birth as members of traditional society and are forced to build it independently. The article reveals the preconditions for the emergence of an identity crisis in the context of the development of capitalism and the formation of the economic man. The purpose of the article is to determine the peculiarities of the formation of monetary identity, which has become essentially a by-product of the spread of Western values. To achieve this goal, a structural-functional analysis of social interactions of the subjects of identification has been conducted, as well as general scientific methods of synthesis and generalization of materials, analysis, comparison, deductive and inductive methods, etc. have been used. The main features of monetary identity are that a person begins to be guided by one’s own selfish principles, and money becomes the main value for such a person, appearing as a universal value that is equivalent to all other material values. In the modern world, monetary identity appears as a global and unstable one, it is formed artificially and serves the modern market for profit within the consumer society. It is concluded that in the modern world, money not only serves to improve the objective circumstances of life, but also becomes a means of achieving public recognition. The problem of monetary identity is especially relevant for Ukraine as a country that focuses on the Western type of management with its achievements, values and at the same time problems, and therefore requires further research.

Today, education with the instillation of national values in students is a requirement of life, a necessity of society. And what is the national cultural value? It is a unique tradition, customs and traditions of each nation. That is, spiritual and material values accumulated over the centuries.“First of all, a person should be educated, not educated. Education without it is the enemy of humanity”, said the great scientist Abu Nasir Al-Farabi. Now the XXI century is the time of education and science. But if we put our efforts into education and science, and forget about education, including national education, we will lose. After all, despite the fact that he is educated and does not absorb the national culture, he will become an eternal citizen of the nation, useless to the people. Culture says that an educated community cannot be without culture. Education, Science, and culture are based on a real Kazakh education, and a path to the top of civilization will be built. The sources of national education are folklore, oral literature, national literature, customs, traditions, noble principles, oratory, proverbs and sayings, principles of education in the works of our thinkers who were born on our native land. At the same time, the main directions of National Education will be such qualitative characteristics as national features of Family Education, kinship relations, the concept of seven fathers, maternity duty and duty, National Honor, national consciousness, national morality, patriotism, hard work, humanity. The relevance of the article is that, first of all, the formation of national consciousness in national education is one of the main prerequisites. Today, in the era of globalization, it is necessary not to copy all the cultures of Western civilization, but to take root, to take what is necessary for our nation, and secondly, education contributes to the growth of the younger generation in the sense of responsibility to society as a rich, versatile citizen of the spiritual world.

Introduction. The late 1960s and the first half of the 1980s saw a significant growth of the tendency for mismanagement and misappropriation of socialist property in the kolkhozes (collective farms) of Bashkiria. Such forms of antisocial and criminal behavior of the citizens appears to be a relevant subject. The aim of the present article is to analyze the issues of mismanagement and theft of socialist property in the kolkhozes of Bashkiria in the late 1960s — the first half of the 1980s. In this aspect, several lines of research have been identified: i) to analyze the forms of illegal use of funds and of material values of the farms, examining the phenomena in their dynamics; ii) to examine the work of the control and auditing bodies in the farms; and iii) to analyze a complex of measures taken by the party, state, and other supervisory bodies to counter the growth of economic crimes in kolkhozes. Sources. The archival documents from the National Archive of the Republic of Bashkortostan help to draw a detailed picture of the dynamics in the growth of mismanagement and stealing of collective farm property in Bashkiria, as well as of measures taken to counter these negative phenomena. Methods. The thematic chronological research method proved to be relevant for the analysis and identification of the issues related to the preservation of social property in the farms of Bashkiria, as well as of measures taken by the authorities to stop the facts of misappropriation and mismanagement. The principles of objectivity and historicism applied to a concrete historical situation made it possible to draw a non-partisan picture of the period in question. Results. The research has shown that during the period under study criminal mismanagement in the region took place in many collective farms, accompanied by numerous thefts of socialist property and this happened despite measures taken by the authorities. These crimes were often committed by representatives of the economic nomenclature, who had unlimited access to resources. Conclusion. Between the late 1960s and mid-1980s, the thefts of socialist property and mismanagement events in the collective farms of Bashkiria acquired an intractable systemic character, fostering antisocial sentiments in the rural section and society at large.
