This study aims to determine (1) the quality of learning materials for automotive productive teacher theory; (2) Preparation and planning of automotive productive teacher learning; (3) Synchronization of theoretical learning with productive teacher practice learning (4) Supervision and follow-up after the evaluation of productive teacher learning. This type of research is an evaluation with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan. The respondents were students of automotive engineering expertise programs, all automotive productive teachers, and school principals. The evaluation model used is the Goal Oriented Evaluation Model, which is an evaluation which is oriented towards the objectives of the automotive productive teacher learning management program. Data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the instrument through the help of a competent panel. The results showed: (1) The quality of automotive productive teacher learning materials in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan was effective. (2) Preparation and planning of learning of automotive productive teachers in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan effectively. (3) Synchronization of theoretical learning with learning practices of automotive productive teachers in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan effectively. (4) Supervision and follow-up after the evaluation of the learning of automotive productive teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan is effective.

This study aims to determine the principal's leadership in improving the quality of SMP IT Nurul Fadhillah, the constraints of the principal's leadership in improving the quality of schools at SMP IT Nurul Fadhilah, and the principal's efforts to improve the quality of schools at SMP IT Nurul Fadhilah. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach and the techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Ensuring the validity of research data uses credibility, transfibility, dependability and conformability. The results of this research are the principal's leadership in improving the quality of education by caring for subordinates, assertiveness, democracy, and supervision. The obstacles faced by school principals in improving the quality of schools are the lack of educational facilities and infrastructure. As for the efforts made by the principal in improving the quality of education, namely developing teacher competence, meeting the needs of school stakeholders and getting used to working together in overcoming problems.

<p>The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of school based management in proving the quality of teachers In State Senior High School No.4 OKU. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The informants as sources in this study were the principal. Deputy principal, teachers, administrative staff and guardian of students. In collecting the data the researcher used were observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the research result it can be concluded that First, the principal in State Senior High School No.4 OKU is capable of implementing school based management well. Second, there is an increase in teacher quality as seen from teacher completence. Third, school principals is able to improve teacher quality through planned and gradual programs. Fourth, the principal is able to improve the quality of the school.</p>

Objectives Structured treatment programs have been recommended for management of patients with chronic conditions to overcome ill-coordinated care. We aimed to evaluate a disease management program (DMP) with for diabetes mellitus in Switzerland. Methods We performed a prospective observational study with a propensity score-matched usual care control group from a claims database. We included type-1 and type-2 diabetes patients from a primary care setting. The DMP (intervention) comprised a structured treatment approach with an individual treatment plan, treatment goals and an interprofessional team approach. Our outcome comprehensive measures included quality of life (QOL: EQ-5D-5L), pre-defined indicators for diabetes guideline adherence, number of used services and direct medical costs. We applied a difference-in-difference (DID) approach to compare DMP with usual care (follow-up 1 year). Costs were calculated with non-parametric bootstrapping (2017 Swiss Francs, CHF; conversion rate to Euros: 0.85) from a third-party payer perspective (Swiss health care insurance). Results QOL in a sub-sample of 80 patients did not change during follow-up (mean utility 0.89 at baseline and follow-up; p=0.94). Guideline adherence showed slight improvements for DMP. For example, non-adherence (baseline DMP: 19%) decreased in the DMP group by -3 %-points (DID; 95%-CI: -0.07 to 0.01) but not in the control group. A general trend emerged, though mostly not statistically significant, with less used services in the DMP group compared to the control group. Costs increased in both groups during follow-up, but the increase was higher in the control group (DID, mean total costs per patient per year: CHF -950.00 [95%-CI: -1959.53 to 59.56]). Such a negative difference-in-difference estimate in favor of DMP also emerged for cost sub-categories (e.g. costs for inpatient and outpatient care). Conclusions The structured treatment program under evaluation is a promising approach to improve diabetes care in a Swiss primary care setting but more follow-up data are needed.

This study aims to explore the pivotal role of the school principal in escalating his/her capacity as a supervisor. Supervision constitutes one of the principal’s duties that needs to be carried out for the purpose of supervising, evaluating performance, guiding, and motivating teachers to be able to make improvements, maintain teaching quality, and organize a better learning process. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed in this library research. The findings demonstrate the roles that principals take to maximize their role as a supervisor. Firstly, the principals should be able to understand the nature of supervision. This indicates that this re-understanding aims to enhance the process of supervision and guidance to teachers so as to improve the quality of their performance and teaching processes. Secondly, principals should be able to adapt and adopt various approaches to the implementation of supervision. The application in the supervision approach can be noticed in the exchange of information between principals and teachers, including the quality of learning. Thirdly, school principals should be able to increase human resources. The improvement should be carried out systematically and continuously through professional development. This illustrates that the principals’ role as a supervisor is very essential to promote the professionalism of teachers and educational staff.

Data collection techniques used was interview, and documentation. The survey method is carried out only as an affirmation and supporting data. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive approach. Moreover, to assure the validity of research, the data was tested through triangulation method. Based on the research findings, it was concluded that the hindrances on the effectiveness of principal leaders was caused by the absence of superintendents’ support in providing organizational structure, system and program which focused on school’s vision and mission. That being said, it was suggested that superintendent as a policy maker to put an effort to develop coordination and collaboration with all the stake holders as it will establish the school’s direction and foster a strong commitment in meeting those goals. Kualitas mutu sumber daya manusia salah satunya ditentukan oleh kualitas mutu pendidikan.Untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan tidak hanya dapat dilakukan melalui perbaikan proses pembelajaran seperti kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, perbaikan kualitas guru atau sarana pendidikan tetapi juga melalui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah merupakan faktor penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan sekolah karena kepala sekolah berhubungan langsung dengan pelaksanaan program sekolah. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pelaksanaan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah X di pulau Bali. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan pengamatan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode survey dilakukan hanya sebagai penegasan dan data pendukung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian dan kesimpulan. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa kendala-kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam menjalankan kepemimpinannya adalah kurangnya dukungan dari pihak yayasan sekolah dalam menciptakan standar, sistem dan program yang berorientasi pada visi, misi dan tujuan sekolah. Untuk itu yayasan sebagai pembuat kebijakan hendaknya melakukan koordinasi dan kolaborasi yang baik dengan seluruh warga sekolah sehingga dapat menentukkan arah kebijakan dan menumbuhkan komitmen yang kuat dalam pemenuhan tujuan sekolah.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pengelolaan usaha boga di SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar (2) mengevaluasi program pelaksanaan pengelolaan usaha boga di SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar ditinjau dari segi konteks (Context), masukan (input), proses (process), hasil (product), keluaran (outcome). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Evaluatif dengan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPPO. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sesuai dengan kebutuhan peneliti berjumlah 85 orang siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, angket dan studi dokumen. Data dianalisis secara desriptif kualitatif. Untuk menentukan kualitas program, data terlebih dahulu dianalisis menggunakan skor standar atau Z-Score yang selanjutnya ditransformasikan ke dalam T-Score kemudian dikonversi ke dalam kuadran Glickman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pelaksanaan pengelolaan usaha boga tersebut dilihat dari hasil wawancara diperoleh data bahwa pelaksanaan pengelolaan usaha boga masih mengalami beberapa kendala dalam hal persiapan bahan dan peralatan, pengolahan, pengemasan dan pemasaran produk sehingga setelah dianalisis menghasilkan pelaksanaan pengelolaan usaha boga sudah berlangsung cukup efektif, (2) Evaluasi program pelaksanaan pengelolaan usaha boga di SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar segi context berada pada kategori efektif, segi input berada pada kategori efektif, segi process berada pada kategori tidak efektif, segi product berada pada kategori tidak efektif, dan segi outcome berada pada kategori efektif. Kata kunci : Evaluasi program, pengelolaan usaha boga, CIPPO, Glickman. Abstract This research was aimed at 1) describing the implementation of culinary business management at SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar, 2) evaluating the implementation of culinary business management at SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar viewed from context, input, process, product, and outcome. This is an evaluative research with CIPPO evaluation model. 85 students were taken as the samples of the study by applying purposive sampling technique. The data were gathered by using interview, questionnaire and documents study. The data were analysed descriptive-qualitatively. In order to determine the quality of the program, the data were firstly analysed by using standard scores or Z-score which were then transformed into T-score and converted into Glickman quadran. The results of the study show that 1) based on the interview results, it is found out that there were still some obstacles/problems along the implementation of culinary business management on the preparation and utensils, processing, packaging, and marketing of the product. The result of the analysis shows that the culinary business management was effectively implemented, 2) the evaluation of the implementation of culinary business management at SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar in terms of context is in the effective category, in terms of input is in the effective category, in terms of process is in the ineffective category, in terms of product is in the ineffective category, in terms of outcome is in the effective category. This research is motivated by the many principals who do not conduct supervision and evaluation of academic supervision in schools so that the quality of learning is low. For this reason, this study aims to improve the competency of principals in carrying out academic supervision through monitoring and evaluation. This research is a school action research conducted on 10 elementary school principals in Indragiri giri district. The instrument used in the form of an observation sheet to observe the implementation of supervision which is used as material for analysis and follow-up improvement in the competency of the principal. The results of the study in the first cycle amounted to 77% meaning that the competence of principals included in the category enough, in the second cycle increased to 88% which included in good categories. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the competency of principals in Indragiri upstream districts in implementing academic supervision has increased through monitoring and evaluation.
