Integrating sustainability concepts, tools, and best practices across the outdoor recreation and park profession has gained momentum over the past three decades. However, missing from the professional and scientific literature have been action-oriented and evaluative research focused on “how” sustainability is being operationalized in the field. Through a qualitative research design focused on the 11 National Forests of the Southwestern Region of the USDA Forest Service, we developed an operational model for how sustainable recreation is being implemented at the Forest level through the Sustainable Recreation Strategy. Data collection included document analysis, stakeholder interviews, and personal observation. Document analysis included a content analysis methodology of 11 Forest-level Sustainable Recreation Action Plans, the principal planning process used to implement the vision and goals set forth by the Regional Sustainable Recreation Strategy. Evidence from the study was used to develop a grounded operational model with three foundational areas of Program, Agency, and Community. Foundational areas were further elaborated into component areas—Program into workforce, communications, outdoor recreation management, financial management, and information management systems—Agency into leadership support, administrative support, and integrated resource management—and Community into partnerships, volunteer program, and conservation education. Operational models such as this can help recreation managers, agency leaders, and policymakers adjust systems, structures, and roles to build program capacity and accelerate program transition towards sustainability.

The purpose of this study was to see how E-learning applications were used in history lectures during the Covid-19 period. This research uses descriptive-evaluative research strategy with Mixed Methods technique (quantitative and qualitative). The descriptive-evaluative analysis in this study is limited to the E-Learning program as a historical learning medium. The subjects of this study were teachers of history subjects and students at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Padang who used E-Learning. Data was collected through interviews, documentation, and distributing questionnaires. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis, namely calculating the amount of data obtained from questionnaire data and then evaluating the data in the form of percentages. The influence of online learning with E-Learning applications on students’ historical thinking skills and historical awareness abilities is substantial. Furthermore, using E-Learning technology into history lessons may aid students in developing a stronger sense of national identity. As a result, it is possible to infer that the E-learning application had a significant impact on history learning during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Endometriosis is a common condition which affects women in a number of ways and impairs their ability to live a full and meaningful life. Evaluative research has traditionally taken its cue from a medical approach which has forced women to choose one area of functioning as their primary concern, and tended to use a narrow definition of treatment success which ignores general well-being. While recent trials have included quality of life (QOL) measures as outcomes, these have not been able to capture the totality of the impact of the disease and its treatment on a woman's capability to do what she might want to do and be who she might want to be. A capability approach might overcome this barrier, but the available tools will need to be refined and validated in women with endometriosis before this can be integrated within everyday clinical and research practice.

The purpose of this evaluative research is to assess the implementation of the Muhammadiyah learning program which is a compulsory subject in all Muhammadiyah and Aisyiah Universities (PTMA). The study was conducted at the University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka (Uhamka) from January to April 2020. This research is qualitative. The informants were selected using a purposive technique, consisting of students, lecturers, Uhamka leaders, and the leadership of the Muhammadiyah Higher Education and Research Council. Data was collected using interview techniques, Focused Group Discussion (FGD), and documentation. The data were analyzed by evaluating the CIPP model. The results of the study show that there are still several obstacles in the learning of Muhammadiyah, among others, in terms of context, there are still debates about the content of the curriculum. Renewal efforts have been made with the publication of new textbooks. There were obstacles regarding the availability, qualifications, and certification of Kemuhammadiyahan lecturers from the input side. In terms of process, the duration of learning which is only 2 credits is felt to be insufficient to implement learning with empowerment strategies. Finally, in terms of products, despite the development of student views about Muhammadiyah, these developments have not significantly changed the religious traditions they believe in so far.

Alcoholism is now becoming a major problem of all the nations. Approximately 2.5 million die each year from the harmful use of alcohol accounting for about 4 % of all deaths in the world. Because of these problems created by alcoholism, the study was conducted with the aim to create awareness on effects of alcoholism among adolescence students of higher secondary students of Mizoram as a preventive program.An evaluative research approach was adopted with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample comprised of 100 students selected by using lottery method from three higher secondary schools in Aizawl, Mizoram. The tool was developed and reliability of the tool was established by Pearson’s covariance co-efficient i.e. 0.87. The teaching programme was found to be effective in increasing the knowledge of students as evidenced by‘t’ (99) = 27.13, p < 0.05. The study also reports that there was significant association between pre-test knowledge score with mother’s education as evident from p = 0.020 at 0.05 level of significance, but no significant association between pre-test knowledge score and other selected demographic variables were found.: The planned awareness programme was an effective method to increase the knowledge of the students. Mother’s education played an important role in educating their children towards effects of alcoholism. The study can be implicated in practical nursing field for health promotion and prevention of alcoholism and alcohol related disorders.

The adolescent stage of life marks the transition from childhood to maturity. These are the formative years, when the most physical, psychological, and behavioural changes occur. The primary goal of the current study was to examine the effects of PTP on knowledge of sex education among teenage females. The study's objectives are to examine adolescent girls' awareness of specific elements of sex. To create and carry out a structured teaching programme on certain parts of sex education for teenage females. To assess the efficacy of the intended educational programme. To determine the relationship between pre-test knowledge scores and specified demographic characteristics. The study used an evaluative research technique with a one-group pretest-post-test design. The study's sample size was set at 50 teenage females. The study's sample approach was simple random sampling, which is a sort of probability sampling. A standardised questionnaire on sex education knowledge was utilised to collect pertinent data. Following the administration of PTP, there was a noticeable rise in knowledge scores in all categories considered in the research. Thus, it was proved that PTP was effective teaching method for creating awareness on importance of sex education and STI, STD and HIV/ AIDS transmission and focusing the reproductive health hazards like preventing sexual violence among youths.

<p>This thesis uncovers a personal journey of reflective practice in Aotearoa / New Zealand. The focus for reflection is on my emerging role as a nurse facilitating transitions using a dialectical approach in the context of a private nursing practice. Transitions encompass: life changes, loss, and adjustment to changes in function. Dialectical nurse facilitation of transition (DNFT) is a way of exploring self in the transitional space between "the no longer and the not yet". In this facilitated process people potentially discover paradoxes, tensions, and creative energy, as they search for a way forward.  The research design details a dialectical heuristic quest through journaling and reflecting on practice supervision and peer review, over a two year period. Exemplars written after reflecting on case notes reveal the lived experiences of participants Sophie, Grace, Rose, Faith, Lilo, and Charles (pseudonyms). These case reviews show the complexity of patterns for people undergoing transitions and nurse facilitation.  A relational pattern for DNFT encompasses compassionate engagement, catalytic mirroring, and interconnectedness. A transitional pathway from impasse to transformation shows itself as the people I work with search for clarity about the nature and meaning of self. The transitional pathway is mirrored in practice supervision and peer review in my search for professional clarity and grounded-ness. This reveals a mutual transformational process going beyond the boundaries of feelings and reason, into the regions of the human energy field and spiritual essence of self.  This integral approach finds resonance with nursing, Buddhist, and psycho-social philosophies and theories that posit human beings as the embodiment of spiritual energy. An exploration of literature encompasses nursing theories, facilitation, dialogue, loss, grief, spirituality and transition. These show how the patterns that I find, both resonate, and are divergent from extant knowledge.  This thesis sheds light on the often hidden aspects of reflection and nursing practice and may support professional and personal growth. It also provides a basis for evaluative research on the effectiveness of DNFT in health care settings in the future. Discussions regarding the expansion of these reflective and praxis genres are included which may be of interest to nursing education and practice contexts.</p>

From the importance of Englishin world of internationally communicated,  the problems of learning management in each area seems to be differenced, language and culture are needed for recognizing, active learning is called for  effectiveness instruction, and primary English teachers need to prepared in modern classroom. This research employed evaluative research to employ active learning for primary English teachers through professional program. Data were collected by setting a connoisseurship technique. Seven experts are appointed and read carefully a tentative program for primary English teachers. The connoisseurship technique allowed all experts share their experiences and ideas to promote active learning in freely. Video recording and note taking were recorded during the validation activity. Active learning program for primary English teachers is approved before implementation in different school contexts. The uncertainty situations, COVID-19 pandemic may be affected to schooling, teachers have to redesign lesson. The implementation though active online learning is needed to discuss and rethinking how it be effectively in authentic classroom.

AbstractWithin this study, the authors want to address the problem of overworking of teachers in Philippine schools due to their excessive clerical responsibility, which could lead to teacher attrition. The authors propose to automate the process, particularly the evaluation of student test results since it could improve human well-being by reducing the burden of manual labor. Automation using OMR has not been widely applied in Philippine schools due to cost issues. The authors want to observe whether an alternative OMR - EvalBee - can meet the evaluation standard even though it is free of charge. The study employed a quantitative-evaluative research method. Validated questionnaires on paper and a Google Form survey were used to collect relevant data in a secondary public school in the City Schools Division of Cabuyao – Southville1 Integrated National High School. Statistical tools such as the mean, standard deviation, t-test, and Cohen's d were used in this research to determine the effectiveness of using alternative OMR in evaluating examinations. This study shows that alternative OMR is efficient, accurate, and reliable, despite the fact that it is free, and recommends it be used as part of the teachers' standard method of test evaluation.
