Teacher’s performance plays a crucial role in achieving quality of education and good character of students. Low teacher’s performance will decrease quality of graduates itself. Based on data in north Jakarta vocational school, teacher’s performance is in priority programs of government, and still need to be increased. The objectives of this research is to investigate whether there exist any direct positive effect of transformational leadership and work motivation towards teacher’s performance at North Jakarta Vocational School. As many as 81 from 443 teachers were used as research samples to obtain data which were then analyzed using quantitative methods of path analysis. The result shows that there exists a positive direct effect of (1) transformational leadership towards teacher performance, (2) work motivation towards teacher performance, (3) transformational leadership towards work motivation.

ABSTRACTTeacher’s performance plays a crucial role in achieving quality of education and good character of students. Low teacher’s performance will decrease quality of graduates itself. Based on datas in Depok City, West Jawa, teacher’s performance is in priority programs of government, and still need to be increased. The obejctives of this research is to investigate whether there exists any direct positive effect of transormational leadership, work culture, self learning and work commitment towards teacher’s performance at State Junior High School in Depok City, West Java. A total of 91 from 974 teachers were sampled to collect data which was then analyzed using path analysis quantitative method. The result shows that there exists a positive direct effect of (1) transformational leadership towards teacher’s performance, (2) work culture towards teacher’s performance, (3) self learning towards teacher’s perfomance, (4) work commitment towards teacher’s performance, (5) transformational leadership towards work commitment, (6) work culture towards work commitment, (7) self learning towards work commitment, (8) transformational leadership towards self learning, (9) work culture towards self learning, and (10) transformational leadership towards work culture.Keywords: teacher’s performance, transformational leadership, work culture, self learning, work commitment.ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan langsung positif kepemimpinan transformasional, budaya kerja, self learning, dan komitmen kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Depok Jawa Barat. Sebanyak 91 dari 947guru digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian untuk memperoleh data yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode kuantitatif analisis jalur.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan langsung positif (1) kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja guru, (2) budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru, (3) self learning terhadap kinerja guru, (4) komitmen kerja terhadap kinerja guru, (5) kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap komitmen kerja, (6) budaya kerja terhadap komitmen kerja, (7) kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap self learning, (8) budaya kerja terhadap self learning, dan (9) kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap budaya kerja.Kata kunci: kinerja guru, kepemimpinan transformasional, budaya kerja, self learning, komitmen kerja

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the influence of transformationalleadership style, individual characteristics, work environment on work motivation and teacherperformance. The study was conducted at State Vocational School Tambelangan 1 , SampangRegency, with 40 teachers as respondents. Data collected with survey methode and questionnaireis as instrument. This research is included in associative research. The data obtained is analyzedusing SPSS. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuktikan adanya pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja, secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama, terhadap kinerja guru SD negeri di Kecamatan Comal Kabupaten Pemalang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan survey yang bersifat explanatory. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert yang telah teruji keabsahannya terbukti valid dan stabil. Pengujian prasarat analisis yang meliputi uji normalitas, multikolinearitas, heteroskedasitas, dan linearitas menunjukkan persyaratan telah terpenuhi. Hasil uji F hitung 120,311 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05, berarti ada pengaruh signifikan dan positif gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Dari uji parsial, diperoleh nilai signifikansi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional 0,001, motivasi kerja 0,000, dan kepuasan kerja 0,000< 0,05, berarti gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja masing-masing berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja guru. Hal ini menunjukkan semua hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima, artinya ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama, terhadap kinerja guru.AbstractThis study aims to prove the influence of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the performance of elementary school teachers in Comal District, Pemalang Regency. This is a quantitative study using a cross sectional approach and an explanatory survey. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and is proven valid and stable. The results of the analysis prerequisite test including normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity show that the requirements have been fulfilled. The result of the F test count is 120.311 with a significance value of 0.000<0.05, meaning that there is a significant and positive effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction on teacher performance. Partial test shows that the significance value of transformational leadership style is 0.001, work motivation is 0.000, and job satisfaction is 0.000<0.05, meaning that transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction have a significant and positive effect on teacher performance, respectively. It shows that all hypotheses in this study are acceptable, which means that there is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the teachers’ performance.

This research aimed at investigating the influence of organizational climate, transformational leadership, and work motivation on teacher job performance at Pondok Modern Tazakka, Batang - Central Java.The research using quantitative approach with survey method. Amount of the samples in this research are 55 teachers that selected randomly. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistic using path analysis. (1) organizational climate have positive direct effect on teacher performance with path coefficient (py1) = 0,257 and t-count 2,963> t-table 1,684; (2) transformational leadership have positive direct effect on teacher performance with path coefficient (py2) = 0,489 and t-count 5,164> t-table 1,684, (3) work motivation have positive direct effect to teacher performance with path coefficient (py3) = 0,261 and t count 2,42> t-table 1,684, (4) organizational climate have positive direct effect (p31) = 0.391 and t-count 3.990> t-table 1.684, and (5) transformational leadership have a direct positive effect on work motivation with path coefficient (p32) = 0.526 and t-count 5,376> t- table 1,684. The Conclusion is organizational climate, transformational leadership, and work motivation have a direct effect on teacher job performance. Organizational climate and transformational leadership also have a direct effect on teacher work motivation. Therefore to improve teacher job performance, organizational climate, transformational leadership, and work motivation must be considered to be improved.

Peneliti0melakukan0penelitian ini di SMK Dwija Dharma Boyolali dengan jumlah guru sebanyak 35 (tiga puluh lima) guru dan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh variabel yang  sesuai dengan judul terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Dwija Dharma Boyolali di Boyolali. Peneliti menggunakan metode Kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuisoner yang diberikan dan diisi oleh semua guru SMK Dwija Dharma Boyolali tanpa ada paksaan dari pihak anapun. Peneliti menggambil semua populasi sebanyak 35 guru menjadi sampel. Penenlitian ini menggunakan beberapa uji yang penulis gunakan. Dengan hasil tes tersebut penelti mendapatakan hasil penelelitian yaitu menunjukan bahwa variabel peltihan dan pendikan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Dwija Dharma Boyolali, variabel motivasi kerja secara parsial dan signifikan tidak mempengaruhi kinerja guru di SMK Dwija Dharma Boyolali. Pengaruh dari variabel-variabel tersebut mendapatkan hasil sebesar 45,9% dan sisanya adalah factor-faktor lain yang tidak dimasukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebesakr 55,1% ABSTRACT Researchers conducted this research at SMK Dwija Dharma Boyolali with a total of 35 (thirty five) teachers and this study aims to determine how the influence of variables according to the title on teacher performance at SMK Dwija Dharma Boyolali in Boyolali. Researchers used quantitative methods with data collection techniques through questionnaires given and filled in by all teachers of SMK Dwija Dharma Boyolali without any coercion from any party. Researchers took all populations of 35 teachers as samples. This research uses several tests that the authors use. With the results of the test, the research obtained the results of the study, which showed that the training and education variables had a positive effect on the performance of teachers at SMK Dwija Dharma Boyolali, the work motivation variable partially and significantly did not affect the performance of teachers at SMK Dwija Dharma Boyolali. The effect of these variables got a result of 45.9% and the rest were other factors not included in this study, namely 55.1%

This research is motivated by efforts to improve the quality of education, and teacher performance has not been achieved as expected. This can be seen from the number of students' achievement decreases. Due to the teacher's performance has not yet produced a standard output of students who excel. The cause that occurs can not be separated from the competence, motivation, and learning environment that still has to be improved. These three variables directly or indirectly have an influence on teacher performance and the quality of education. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of competence, motivation, learning environment on teacher performance, the quality of education, and indirect effects through teacher performance on the quality of education. The population of this study was all elementary school teachers at the Education Office of South Sulawesi Province. The total sample study is 393 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) utilizing AMOS 18. The study results found that direct or indirect effect the competence, motivation, learning environment had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, as well as relationship antecedent variables on the quality of education. Including the performance of teachers, effect on quality of education.

This research aims to find out the effect of Transformational Leadership, Motivation, Organizational Commitment and teacher performance at SMU Abdurrohman Wahid Banjarmadu Karanggeneng Lamongan. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach. The population in this research were all SMK Abdurrohman Wahid Teachers. The sampling technique using census techniques with 42 samples. Technique of data analysis used in this study is analysis using Software smart PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership variables have no positive effect on organizational commitment, work motivation does not have a positive effect on organizational commitment, transformational leadership has a positive effect on teacher performance, work motivation does not have a positive effect on teacher performance, and organizational commitment has no positive effect on teacher performance.

Leadership is an important aspect of an organization or company. The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of work motivation as an intervening variable between autocratic leadership and transformational leadership on employee performance in the family business (study at PT. Andalan Medika Sejahtera Abadi). Respondents in this study were 55 people, all of whom were employees of PT. Andalan Medika Sejahtera Abadi, using quantitative methods and path analysis. In this study, it was found that all variables have a significant and positive effect. However, the relationship between autocratic leadership and motivation has a higher value. The results of this study are unique because they use different subjects from previous studies, namely family business companies.
