This research is motivated by efforts to improve the quality of education, and teacher performance has not been achieved as expected. This can be seen from the number of students' achievement decreases. Due to the teacher's performance has not yet produced a standard output of students who excel. The cause that occurs can not be separated from the competence, motivation, and learning environment that still has to be improved. These three variables directly or indirectly have an influence on teacher performance and the quality of education. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of competence, motivation, learning environment on teacher performance, the quality of education, and indirect effects through teacher performance on the quality of education. The population of this study was all elementary school teachers at the Education Office of South Sulawesi Province. The total sample study is 393 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) utilizing AMOS 18. The study results found that direct or indirect effect the competence, motivation, learning environment had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, as well as relationship antecedent variables on the quality of education. Including the performance of teachers, effect on quality of education.

The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of competence, motivation and workdiscipline on culture; to know and explain the effect of competence, motivation andwork discipline on honorary teacher performance; to know and explain the effect ofwork culture on honorary teacher; and knowing to explaining the effect of competence,motivation and work discipline as a mediates work culture on honorary teacherperformance on elementary school teachers in Makassar City. The study was conductedin elementary schools with a population of elementary school honorary teachers whohad a Limited duration contract in 8 sub-districts in Makassar City totaling 1,495people. A sample of 317 respondents used the Slovin formula. The data from thequestionnaire were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model using AMOS 18. Theresults of the study found that the work competence, motivation and discipline directlyhad a positive and significant effect on teachers work culture. Work competence,motivation discipline directly has a positive and significant effect on honorary teacherperformance. Teachers work culture directly has a positive and significant effect onhonorary teacher performance. The three exogenous variables (competence, workdiscipline and work motivation) have a significant positive effect on honorary teacherperformance as a mediating role of teacher's work culture

We will exploration in explaining the contribution of competence to work culture; contribution of competence to teacher performance; the contribution of work culture to teacher performance; the contribution of competence through work culture to the work performance of Honorary Teachers In Makassar Elementary School is very important to do in determining the attitudes and policies of the city government towards Honorary Teachers In Makassar City. The study was conducted at Makassar Elementary School with a population of Honorary Teachers who have a Decree of limited time employment contract in 8 sub-districts in Makassar City, totaling 1,495 teachers. The total sample obtained was 317 teachers using the Slovin formula. The research hypothesis was tested using the Structural Equation Model through the help of AMOS vers. 20.0 programs. The results of the study provide evidence that the competencies possessed are proven to directly improve the work culture of honorary teachers. High competence is proven to directly be able to improve the performance of honorary teachers to a high level. Work culture directly has a significant positive effect on the performance of honorary teachers. Competence through work culture is indirectly proven to increase the work performance of Honorary Teachers in Makassar Elementary School to a higher level.

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the competence, motivation and job satisfaction and organizational commitment of lecturer’s performance. Research was conducted in private Islamic university in Makassar. The population in this research is the foundation of the entire faculty as many as 1,264 people using Slovin formula samples were obtained 176 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model using AMOS aid 18. The results prove that the competence and no significant negative effect on lecturers commitment. The other variables effect shows that between work motivation and job satisfaction positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. At the end found that the competence, motivation, job satisfaction and organizational commitment has a positive significant effect on the lecturer’s performance.

Teacher’s performance plays a crucial role in achieving quality of education and good character of students. Low teacher’s performance will decrease quality of graduates itself. Based on data in north Jakarta vocational school, teacher’s performance is in priority programs of government, and still need to be increased. The objectives of this research is to investigate whether there exist any direct positive effect of transformational leadership and work motivation towards teacher’s performance at North Jakarta Vocational School. As many as 81 from 443 teachers were used as research samples to obtain data which were then analyzed using quantitative methods of path analysis. The result shows that there exists a positive direct effect of (1) transformational leadership towards teacher performance, (2) work motivation towards teacher performance, (3) transformational leadership towards work motivation.

This study aims to examine the effect of locus of control and organizational culture on improving job satisfaction and performance of MTsN teachers in Pekanbaru. The population in this study were MTsN teachers in Pekanbaru and the total sample used was 111 teachers. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with PLS. The results showed that Locus of control had a significant positive effect on teacher satisfaction and performance, while organizational culture only had a significant positive effect on increasing teacher satisfaction but not on teacher performance. Furthermore, satisfaction was also found to have no significant effect on the performance Keywords: Locus of Control, Organizational Culture, Satisfaction, Teacher Performance

Educators determine the success of an education because they are as central figure in learning. Educators who have good pedagogical competence will be able to understand what is needed and desired by students in the learning process. Therefore, educators are required to improve the quality and the performance of education. This study aims to determine the effect of pedagogical competence on teacher performance, the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, and the influence of pedagogical competence and work motivation on teaher performance in Muhammadiyah Junior High School 4 Gempol. This type of research is quatitative research methods. In this study the data collection techniques used are, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The results of this study are that if educators have good pedagogical competence and high work motivation, then the performance of educators will be optimized in a comprehensive manner and more quickly achieved in improving the quality of education. And vice versa, if educators do not have poor pedagogical competence and low work motivatoin, the teacher's performance is said to be poor or not qualified.

The aim of this research is to examine the factors that influence student perceptions of the image of Qatar’s national university, Qatar University. The study builds on relevant scholarship on perceptions of organizational image and explores institutional image perceptions in the state of Qatar. Based on data collected from a sample of 1427 students in Qatar, this study uses factor analysis in order to identify the variables that influence students’ perceptions of Qatar University. The findings of this study indicate that the way students perceive Qatar University is determined by four main factors: Quality of education, comparability of educational standards, the facilities and extracurricular activities provided, and graduates’ employability. The paper concludes with recommendations for institutional policy and future research. This piece of research has been published in August 2020 at the scopus indexed International Journal of Management (IJM).

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan, kompetensi dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja guru, pengaruh kepemimpinan, kompetensi dan kompensasi terhadap displin kerja dan pengaruh kepemimpinan, kompetensi dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja guru melalui disilpin kerja pada Madrasah Aliyah di Kabupaten Barru. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru Madrasah Aliyah di Kabupaten Barru sebanyak 300 orang, dengan menarik sampel secara simple random sampling sebanyak 171 orang. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Model (SEM), untuk melihat pengaruh variabel eksogen (exogenous variables) terhadap variabel endogen (endogeneus variable) secara langsung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja, Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja, Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja, Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru melalui disiplin kerja, Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru melalui disiplin kerja, Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru melalui disiplin kerja Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan; Kompetensi; Kompensasi; Kinerja; Disiplin Kerja. Teacher performance plays an important role in improving the quality of the learning process in an effort to improve the quality of education, especially at the Yabis Bontang educational institution. To achieve optimal learning, teacher work motivation should be high to be able to bring up better teacher performance, so that it can produce quality students and can continue school to a higher level. The research was conducted to examine and find out how much influence teacher work motivation on teacher performance in schools in the Yabis Education Institute, from kindergarten, elementary, junior high and high school units. The method used in this research is ex post facto. To obtain the desired data in the field, this study used a questionnaire compiled using several indicators. The data needed in this study are data on teacher work motivation (X), and teacher performance (Y). Based on the results of data processing and analysis, the following conclusions were obtained; 1)There is a positive influence between work motivation on teacher performance at the Yabis Al-ikhlas Bontang Education Foundation during the Covid 19 pandemic. and 2) Work motivation contributes 44% to teacher performance at the Yabis Bontang Foundation.

This study aims to examine the effect of work motivation on teacher performance with organizational commitment and discipline as a mediator variable in the junior high school in Lhokseumawe City. The data used in this study are primary data of 150 respondents. Data analysis method in this research uses structural equation model with the help of analysis of moment structure. The results showed that work motivation and organizational commitment affect teacher performance, work motivation affects organizational commitment and motivation affects work discipline. While work discipline has no effect on teacher performance. But organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship between work motivation on teacher performance. But work discipline is unable to mediate the relationship between work motivation and the performance of Lhokseumawe City Middle School teachers.
