Teaching materials used by teachers in acid-base material have not been able to develop students' critical thinking skills. One solution that can be done to develop students' critical thinking skills is using acid-base module’s based on REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring). The aim of this research is to produce an acid base module based on REACT and reveal its validity and practicality. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4-D model. The module design has been assessed by seven validators who are Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) consisting of chemistry lecturers from FMIPA UNP and chemistry teachers. While the practicality test was conducted by 3 chemistry teachers and 26 students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Padang Panjang. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Cohen's kappa formula. The module design produces three main characteristics, namely: the module is designed in accordance with the prior knowledge of students; the module contains the REACT syntax component; and the module contains aspects of critical thinking skills developed by Ennis. The results of the content validity obtained value of the Content Validity Index (CVI) of 0.90 with a valid category and the results of the construct validity obtained kappa moment of 0.92 with a very high validity category. While the module practicality results according to the teacher and students obtained a kappa moment of 0.86 with a very high practicality category. The conclusion from this study is that the module developed is valid and practical.

This study aims to analyze the profile of technological pedagogical and content knowledge (TPACK) chemistry teachers at one of the schools in Jakarta. The criteria for the teachers analyzed are professional teachers who have been certified and have more than 20 years of teaching experience. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. The data sources were collected through the TPACK questionnaire referring to the Schmid instrument (2009), lesson plan analysis, observation of the learning process, and interviews. The results show that chemistry teachers can apply learning methods that vary each meeting according to the characteristics of acid-base material. The teacher also utilizes technology information & communication (ICT) based learning media to simplify and clarify material delivery. It can be concluded that teachers have pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) and technological content knowledge (TCK). The use of ICT media such as interactive power points, videos and mobile phones to support selected learning methods, shows that teachers are also competent in technological pedagogical knowledge (TPK). The results of the study concluded that the teacher had integrated all TPACK components into acid-base learning.

This study was motivated by the absence of the practicum activities, especially the acid-base indicator learning media, in several schools such as SMA Adisucipto Sungai Raya, SMAN 2 Sungai Raya and MAS Al Mustaqim. This problem is caused by the limited school facilities. For this reason, learning media is required to facilitate the practicum class. This study aimed to determine the validity and practicality of Bioselulose-based natural acid base media. This study used an ADDIE model of four stages ; Analysis, Design, Develop, and Implementation. As many as ten Chemistry teachers from Senior High Schools in Kecamatan Sungai Raya participated in this study. The sample was selected by using purposive sampling technique, and the schools were chosen based on the availability of the material, accessibility of the location, and the school accreditation. Data collection techniques and tools used indirect communication, questionnaires and validation sheets. The results of the validity analysis showed that an average of 0.92 with a very valid category, which meanth that the media was suitable to be used in the learning process. The results of the practicality showed an average of 95 with a very practical category. Therefore, the Biocelullose-based natural acid base media was valid, practical, and suitable for the practicum class in schools.

Many chemistry teachers claimed that identifying students' understanding genuinely is challenging due to the limited time available, and the overload works faced. Therefore, constructing an efficient and valid instrument to overcome this difficulty is a must. This study is a part of the big project to produce a robust four-tier instrument to identify students' conception of acid-base properties of salt solution (FTI-ABPS2). The project involved six groups of researchers, and each group carried out the study in 6 different participant groups and schools. This paper outlines the development and validation of a four-tier instrument of Acid-Base properties of salt Solution involving public secondary school students in Malang Regency. The instrument was constructed using the procedure as carried out by Habiddin & Page (2019). Twenty-eight questions were constructed for the instrument. The results show that the instrument is valid and reliable to be implemented further. In-depth analysis regarding content validity, as well as the empirical validity of the instrument in light with the characteristic of chemical concepts (acid-base properties of salt solution in particular), is also discussed.

Analysis of the needs of teachers and students states that learning required teaching materials that utilized multimedia as a learning medium that could be accessed on cellphones (laptops) and laptops. This study is aimed to develop learning media in the form of inquiry-based digital chemistry books on acid-base titration material. This type of research is a research and development study using the ADDIE model. The subjects in this study were chemistry teachers and students of class XI Mipa 1 in SMA Plus N 2 Banyuasin III. The instruments used to collect data were in the form of questionnaires, interviews, and daily logs. From the results of media validation, material validation and learning design validation state that this digital chemistry book is suitable for use in acid-base titration material. The results of the assessment of two chemistry teachers on digital books were stated to be very good with the kappa test obtained a value of 0.814. In the one-on-one trial, it was 86.67% feasibility, and in the small-group trial it was 95%. Chemistry digital books on inquiry- based acid-base titration material are appropriate for use in chemistry learning and are expected to be applied in learning to improve students critical thinking skills.

Abstract: Practicum activities in learning Natural Sciences in the school environment is one of the effective methods to achieve learning objectives. Because in learning activities there are many concepts that can be explained if students carry out scientific activities or with laboratory tests. Singosari 1 High School is one of the high schools located on Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara Singosari, Malang Regency. This community service activity aims to provide practical guidance to students in SMA Negeri 1 Singosari for Chemistry subjects. This is based on the results of interviews with chemistry teachers who showed that many students had difficulty in acid-base material. The method used needs analysis and is measured with quantitative data in the form of a tabulated questionnaire. The results of this service can be measured qualitatively and quantitatively, namely a questionnaire given to students that shows that there is a positive response and most feel very satisfied with the practicum activities undertaken. Students feel they can construct their understanding independently.   Keywords: Practicum, acid-base, IPA
