ABSTRAKModel pembelajaran yang digunakan guru biologi selama ini adalah model konvensional dengan metode ceramah.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahuiperbedaan dan pengaruh model pembelajaran SAVI berbantu macromediaflash berbasis lesson study terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Exsperimental Design dengan rancanganNonequivalent Control Group Design.Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil uji-t data signifikansi yaitu 0,034 < 0,05menunjukan terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI berbantu macromedia flash dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode ceramah berbantuan macromediaflash. Berdasarkan perhitungan Effect Size, model pembelajaran SAVIberbantu  macromedia flash berbasis lesson study terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA pada materi rangka dan otot memberikan kontribusi terhadap persentasi peningkatan motivasi belajar sebesar 79,4 %. Hal ini menunjukan model pembelajaraan SAVI berbantu macromedia flashberbasis lesson study terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Rayadengan nilai Effect Size (ES) 1,9  (kategori tinggi).Kata Kunci: SAVI, macromedia flash, lesson study, motivasi belajar. ABSTRACTBiology teacher still used conventional model and method in learning process.The aims of this research to difference and determined the effect of SAVIteaching modelassisted by MacromediaFlash-based lesson study on eighth grade of SMP (junior high school) N 7 Sungai Raya students motivation to learn.The research design used experiment design with nonequivalent control group design. Sampledetermination used purposive sampling technique. T-test results of significance is 0,034 < 0,05 showed that there were differences ofstudents' learning motivation that taught by using SAVIteaching model assisted by macromedia flash with the students taught by using lecturing method assisted macromedia flash.Based on the calculation of effect size, SAVI teaching model assisted by Macromedia Flash-based lesson study on the students’ learning motivationin science subjects onskeletonand muscles material; it had contributed to increase the percentage of the students’ learning motivation which was79.4%. It indicated that SAVI- learning method assisted by Macromedia Flash-based lesson study onstudents learning motivation of in science subjects for eighth grade students of SMP N 7 Sungai Raya with the value of the effect size (ES) 1.9 (high category).Key words: SAVI, Macromedia Flash, Lesson Study, Learning Motivation

The aim of the research is to determine the effectiveness of cognitive restructuring techniques to increase learning motivation in students of State Islamic Junior High School 6 Bantul. The type of research is experimental research. The research design uses quasi-experiment. The design uses Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The research population was 8th grade students of State Islamic Junior High School 6 Bantul, amounting to 149 students. The sampling technique in the research used purposive sampling. The criteria for determining the sample in the research are students of State Islamic Junior High School 6 Bantul at 8th grade which indicated to have low learning motivation. The data collection method uses a scale of learning motivation that has gone through validation processes. Data analysis using non-parametric statistics with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that there were differences in the results of the experimental group's learning motivation before (M=72.17) and after (111.67) the treatment was given (p=0.027<0.05). These results can be concluded that cognitive restructuring techniques are effective to increase students learning motivation.

Abstrak             Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Picture and Picture dan Model Sugesti Imajinasi dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Banjarnegara. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII-D kelompok eksperimen 1 menggunakan model Picture and Picture dan VIII-C Kelompok eksperimen 2 menggunakan model Sugesti Imajinasi. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Picture and Picture lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model Sugesti Imajinasi dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP.   Kata Kunci: model picture and picture, model sugesti imajinasi, teks puisi.   Abstract This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Picture and Picture Model and Imagination Suggestion Model in learning to write poetry for eight-grade students of Junior High School. The population in this study were eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Banjarnegara. The samples of this study were the class VIII-D students as in the experimental group 1 using the Picture and Picture and VIII-C as in the experimental group 2 using the Imagination Suggestion model. The design used in this research is quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that the Picture and Picture model was more effective than the Imagination Suggestion model in learning to write poetry for the eighth-grade students of Junior High School.

Abstract: In physics learning a learning is needed which in addition to increasing understanding of concepts can also improve students' self-efficacy, one by one using the PBL model with scaffolding. With scaffolding, educators can provide assistance in stages to students who experience difficulties in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of PBL-based physics learning and scaffolding on understanding concepts and self efficacy. This type of research is the Quasy experiment using a non equivalent control group design. The research was conducted at one of the high schools in Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The instrument used to measure understanding of the concept is a three-tier diagnostic test consisting of 10 questions, while the instrument for measuring self-efficacy is the observation sheet. From this study, the results showed that PBL-based physics learning with scaffolding was effective against the understanding of concepts and the self-efficacy of students. The value of the effect size obtained is 1.29 with a high category.Abstrak: Dalam pembelajaran fisika dibutuhkan suatu pembelajaran yang selain dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep juga dapat meningkatkan self efficacy peserta didik, salah satungan dengan menggunakan model PBL dengan scaffolding. Dengan scaffolding,  pendidik dapat memberikan bantuan secara bertahap kepada peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek dari pembelajaran fisika berbasis PBL dengan scaffolding terhadap pemahaman konsep dan self efficacy. Jenis penelitian adalah Quasy experiment menggunakan desain non equivalent control group. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada salah satu SMA di Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep adalah three-tier test diagnostic yang terdiri atas 10 soal, sedangkan instrumen untuk mengukur self efficacy adalah lembar observasi.  Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa pembelajaran fisika berbasis PBL dengan scaffolding efektif terhadap pemahaman konsep serta self efficacy peserta didik. Nilai effect size yang diperoleh adalah 1,29 dengan kategori tinggi

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of cooperative model type Course Review Horay (CRH) on Student Learning Outcomes and Science Process Skills (KPS) in Class XI at Bandar Lampung SMAN 9. The research method used. quasi experiment with non equivalent control group design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of the hypothesis test analysis using the Maan Whitney test showed a significant value of 2 taile = 0.00 with a significant level of 0.05%. It states that the significance value is less than 0.05 (0,000). The CRH learning model is more effective towards students' learning outcomes, effectiveness can be seen by the effect size test. The result of the effect size test is 1.41 so that it is included in the high category.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Efektifitas Model kooperatif Tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Dan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) Pada Kelas XI Di SMAN 9 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan. quasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent control group. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Maan Whitney menunjukan nilai signifikn 2 taile = 0,00 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05%. Hal tersebut menyatakan bahwa nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000). Model pembelajran CRH lebih efektiv terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik, keefetivan dapat dilihat dengan uji effect size. Hasil dari uji Effect size yaitu 1,41 sehingga termasuk dalam kategori tinggi

This study focuses on enhancement of student’s learning motivation. This is a quasi experimental research with non equivalent control group design. Sample were taken by purposive sampling technique so that selected 22 experimental group students and 22 control group students from VIIIth grade of junior high school in Bandung, The experimental group was given contextual mathematics learning, while the control group was given regular learning. Questionnaire of motivation were used as research instrument. The results show that enhancement of student’s learning motivation with contextual mathematics learning better than students who received regular learning.

This research was conducted based on the fact that there was a lack in student’s mathematical connection ability. The aim of this research was to examine the enhancement of student’s mathematical connection ability by Alberta model inquiry learning. This research used nonequivalent control group design. Population of this research was all eighth-grade students at one of the junior high schools in Palu, and the samples were two classes selected by using purposive sampling technique, in which they were used as an experimental class and control class. The experimental class was treated by Alberta Model inquiry learning and control class by conventional learning. Instruments used in this research were mathematics connection ability test and observation sheet. Results showed that student’s mathematical connection ability enhancement in students received Alberta model inquiry learning was better than students who received conventional learning.Keywords: Inquiry Learning of Alberta Model, Mathematical Connection AbilityABSTRAKPenelitian ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa terdapat permasalahan masih rendahnya kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Penelitian menggunakan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII salah satu SMP di Kota Palu dan sebagai sampel dipilih siswa dari dua kelas dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen  diberi pembelajaran inkuiri model Alberta dan kelas kontrol pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan koneksi matematis dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran inkuiri model Alberta lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Inkuiri Model Alberta, Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis

This study aims to improve the students’ science literacy through the application of STEM-Based Worksheet (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) on sound waves learning the material. The research used mixed-method with exploratory sequential design in the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. This study involved 25 eighth grade students of class F as the experimental class and 25 eighth grade students of class A as the control class in SMP Negeri 2 Pugung. The data collecting techniques were observation method, questionnaire, and test. The data were analyzed using independent sample t-test to see the effectiveness of the learning in both groups. The questionnaire results were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of STEM-based worksheet could effectively increase the science literacy with N-gain of 0.43 (medium category). The highest increase was in the indicator of “explains the science phenomenon" and the lowest was on the "drawing conclusions" indicator. The results of the students’ questionnaire responses after using the developed worksheet was 92,73 (very high category). This means that the developed students’ worksheets effective in increasing science literacy.

ABSTRAK                                                                                          Rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa didalam kelas dan cara mengajar guru yang belum maksimal dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi masih di bawah KKM 69, khususnya pada sub materi rangka dan otot  69,23% siswa tidak tuntas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan dan besarnya pengaruh model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan Macromedia Flash berbasis Lesson Study terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu kelas VIII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil uji U-Mann Whitney menunjukan terdapat perbedaan aktivitas belajar yaitu 0,000<0,05 hal ini menunjukkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen berbeda dengan kelas kontrol. Sedangkan perhitungan Effect Size memberikan pengaruh persentase peningkatan aktivitas belajar sebesar 75,4% tergolong besar. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan Macromedia Flash berbasis Lesson Study terdapat perbedaan dan memberikan pengaruh terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa.Kata kunci: SAVI, Macromedia Flash, Lesson Study, Aktivitas Belajar, Rangka dan Otot AbstractThe low activity of student learning in the classroom and how teachers teach is not maximized in the learning process, causing the results of class VIII student of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya Subjects Biology KKM is still below 69, particularly in sub material order and muscle 69.23% of students uncompleted. The purpose of this study to determine whether there is a difference and the influence of SAVI-assisted learning model Macromedia Flash-based Lesson Study the learning activities of students. The method used experimental research methods. Forms of study is a Quasi-Experimental Design with design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technic that is class F as the experimental class VIII and VIII A as the control class. The results U-Mann Whitney test showed that there are differences in learning activities 0,000 <0,05 this indicates activity of students in the experimental class is different from the control class. While the calculation of Effect Size influence learning activity increased percentage of 75.4% is quite large. It can be concluded that the use of SAVI-assisted learning model Macromedia Flash-based Lesson Study there is a difference and give effect to the learning activities of students.Keywords: SAVI, Macromedia Flash, Lesson Study, Learning Activities, Frame and Muscles

This study was purposed to investigate whether or not there was a significant effect of storytelling using puppet strategy on students’ speaking achievement at eighth grade of junior high school at SMP N 1 Seririt in the academic year 2018/2019. The research design was Quasi Experimental of Posttest Only Control Group Design involving eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Seririt. Cluster Random Sampling was assigned to select the sample of this study in which VIIIA Class was assigned as the control group and treated by using storytelling without puppet while VIIIB Class as the experimental group was treated by using storytelling with puppet strategy. Three kinds of instruments were used in this study namely lesson plan, speaking test, and storytelling rubric. Based on the result of the data analysis proves that there is a significant difference on students’ speaking achievement between students who were taught by using storytelling with puppet strategy and those students who were taught by using storytelling without puppet strategy (t= 4.942, df= 62, .p< 0.05). Moreover, the result of the effect size in this study is 0.282. It indicates that storytelling with puppet strategy give a large influence on students’ speaking achievement. Referring to those results, it can be concluded that storytelling using puppet strategy can give significant effect on students’ speaking achievement. Keyword: Puppet Media, Speaking Achievement, Storytelling

The present study aimed at investigating whether or not there was a significant difference in writing competency between the eighth grade junior high school students who received metalinguistic WCF and those who did not receive any feedback. This experimental study took the eighth grade students in SMPN 1 Abiansemal as the population and VIIIB and VIIIF respectively as the control and experimental group through cluster random sampling. The design of the study was pretest-posttest control group design. The data were the students’ pretest and posttest that were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. ANCOVA test was used in analyzing the data and to test the hypothesis. The result of the analysis using ANCOVA in SPSS 17.0 showed that the significance value of the group was 0.024 which was lower than the significance level 0.05. It means that the null hypothesis was rejected. It was concluded that there was a significant difference between students who received metalinguistic WCF and those who did not receive any feedback.
