The results of this study indicate an increase in student learning outcomes on the theme of The Beauty of Togetherness in Grade 4 of the Assisi Elementary School. This can be seen from the results of research conducted on the initial test. There are 8 students who get complete scores (30,76%) while 18 students obtained incomplete scores (69,23%) with an average student learning outcomes of 68,92. In the first cycle post-test the learning outcomes increased. There are 18 students who completed the test (69,23%) and there are 8 students who didn’t complete the test (30,76%) with an average learning outcomes of 76,80. In the second cycle post-test the results increased. There are 24 students who complete the test (92,30%) and there are only 2 students who don’t past the test (7,69%) with an average learning outcomes of 86,53. Furthermore, the results of observations of teacher activities in carrying out learning in the first cycle obtained a value of 96% (very high quality) and in the second cycle it obtained a value of 98% (very high quality). The results of observations of student activities in the first cycle obtained a value of 94 (very good) and in the second cycle it obtained a value of 98 (excellent). Thus the conclusion is that by using the Scientific learning model there is an increase in student learning outcomes

The concern in this study is children's inability to solve primary school math problems, with a goal to establish how students' capacity to solve mathematical problems in primary school and to describe the best method or learning model for delivering materials for the circumference and area of parallelograms and triangles using a problem-based learning model with portfolio assessment. This studi is qualitative in nature, employing a total of 30 elementary school chosen through a random sampling technique. The results showed that the problem based learning model based on the portfolio assessment was suitable for use in elementary school mathematics learning compared to conventional learning approaches because students were more active in participating in learning and the teacher was only a facilitator.

Research objectives for describing an application of scientific learning approach on Islamic religious education lessons in Elementary School Muhammadiyah Sapen and application of authentic assessment in the subject Islamic studies, as well as the description do approach to scientific learning and assessment can improve the quality of learning of authentic Islamic education in Muhammadiyah Sapen elementary school. The type of research used is evaluative research program with research approaches to mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative). The technique of collecting data through in-depth interviews and documentation.  The results of these research findings are as follows (1) On scientific learning administration device owned by the teachers have not been adequate because of the completeness of an administration owned teachers still refers to KTSP curriculum. Padaproses PAI has not fully observed the teaching steps in scientific learning, which includes observations, asking questions, trying, rational and communicate. (2) on the assessment process, authentic teachers still experience difficulties especially since the high and complexity of curriculum assessment of 2013. (3) the quality of learning Occurs in the primary PIE Muhammadiyah Sapen experience increased, ranging from improved process i.e. business guru PAI SD Muhammadiyah Sapen to creatively make administration curriculum tailored to 2013 and the end result be the values obtained showed an increase in students from semester to semester II

This study aims to analyse the views of elementary school students on active learning integrated with art branches in core courses (Turkish, mathematics, science and social studies). The research was conducted in the province of Bursa during the academic year 2015–2016, and the study sample comprised of 22 students, including 15 male and 7 female students. The core courses of elementary school were taught using active learning techniques, and the subjects taught during the lessons were evaluated through art branches. The research data obtained through observation and by means of an interview form were analysed and interpreted by descriptive analysis method. The frequencies and percentages of the data obtained using qualitative analysis were calculated. Through active learning approaches, the students learnt better and in a more enjoyable way, their self-esteem also increased. Thus, the elementary school students had positive views on active learning integrated with art branches in core courses. Keywords: Active learning approach, arts branches, student views, interdisciplinary teaching

This research aimed to know the character education of love of homeland through a green  harmony program at Border State Elementary School Sambas - Malaysia. Which viewed from the aspect of planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning characteristic of green harmony. Place of research conducted at Sajingan Besar 03 State Elementary School and Sasak 07 State Elementary School. This research was qualitative research that produces descriptive data. The subject of this research were headmasters, teachers, and students. Data collected by  interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data analysis techniques with data collection steps, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification (drawing conclusions). Technique examination of data validity by using technique triangulation and source. The results showed that character education through green schools program implemented in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of  learning was running well. Characteristic learning planning begins with an understanding of school programs and planning of learning scenarios. The implementation of learning was carried out by applying SERU's learning (happy, effective, friendly, unique) and contextual learning approaches. Characteristic learning evaluation was conducted by observation, anacdetal record, and portfolio.

Language acquisition starts in childhood. Oral language is the initial language to learn. Within it, lies norms to make language functional. Children start to function the language through communication. Communication provides an identity that shapes them into different settings. As language acquisition is unique and individual, experts have been studying to interpret it. There are at least three theorists of language acquisition. They are a behaviorist, innatist, and interactionist. Experts are debating on which theory provides the most appropriate approaches for the students. The discussion will compare innatist and interactionist approaches to the students’ first and second language acquisition. It describes how the educational program would be like when using innatist and interactionist learning approaches. There are also critiques on innatist and interactionist approaches. A suggestion is provided to strategically integrate both approaches to understand language acquisition process in both first and second language students.

This study aims to examine the improvement of mathematical modeling skills by using a problem-based learning approach based on scaffolding in elementary school students and to see the effect of the interaction between the learning approaches applied (PBL-based scaffolding and conventional) and the students' initial mathematical ability to improve mathematical modeling abilities. This research was conducted in 3 elementary schools located in the city of Bandung with the number of research subject classes consisting of 2 classes namely the experimental class and the control class. Experimental class getting learning with problem based learning approach based on scaffolding and control class getting conventional learning. The research design uses Quasi-Experimental design with pre-posttest design. The results showed that the increase in mathematical modeling skills in students who were given learning with PBL based on scaffolding was higher than students who were taught conventionally and there was an influence of interaction between the learning approaches applied (PBL based on scaffolding and conventional) and the students' initial mathematical ability towards increasing mathematical modeling ability.
