Background – Competent teachers can produce quality education. The problem that exists is the number of teachers in schools who lack motivation, this is due to the low enthusiasm of teachers when teaching in several schools. In addition, teacher workloads that exceed the limit and lack of training to improve teacher skills also lead to a lack of teacher motivation. The solution is the need to increase work motivation from both extrinsic and intrinsic factors. Purpose – To find out the influence of instristic and extraneous factors moderated work motivation on teacher performance. Design/Methodology/Approach - This research method uses a causality research design. The population of the study was 86 junior high school teachers in Poncokusumo District. With the research sample 46 SMP teachers who have been certified. The approach used is quantitative with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Result and Discussion - The results of data analysis state: (1) intrinsic factors affect teacher performance, (2) extrinsic factors affect teacher performance, and (3) moderated intrinsic and extrinsic factors affect teacher performance. Conclusion – The results of this study are the intrinsic and extrinsic factors which are moderated by motivation have a significant effect on performance. Motivation strengthens the relationship between intrinsic and external factors on teacher performance in junior high schools in Poncokusumo sub-district. Research Implications - This research has implications for the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic factors as well as motivation as moderation on teacher performance

The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of work stress, motivation, and competence of teachers, the performance of teachers in the province of West Sulawesi.The population in this study was the teacher of junior high school has been accredited by the Ministry of Education, with the criteria professorship at least 5 years, Minimum educational backgrounds S-1 and certified. They are a total of 269 junior high school teachers in four districts in West Sulawesi province, while samples taken by Slovin formula and the result was 161 respondents. This study used a questionnaire as the main instrument. And a questionnaire in the form of a modified Likert scale with response options from Agree to Strongly Agree. The data collected is processed by SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) technique with AMOS program version 19.These results indicate that the motivation and competence of junior high school teachers in West Sulawesi get high rankings in the category, and people could improve their performance. While the hypothesis testing results prove that: (1) Work stress a significant effect on the competence of teachers; (2) work motivation significant effect on the competence of teachers; (3) Stress significant effect on teacher performance; (4) Motivation significant effect on teacher performance; and (5) Competence of teachers significantly influence the performance of teachers. Thus, it means that the results of this study prove that all of this hypothesis is accepted.

This study purposed to examine the influence of teacher’s social competence and work motivation toward teacher performance in managing classes. This research was causality research with a quantitative approach. The sample of this research consisted of 100 junior high school teachers. The instrument in collecting data was questionnaire. The data analysis technique consisted of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistic described the result. Inferential statistics consisted of two tests, (1) assumption test consisted of normality, linearity, and independency, (2) hypothesis test used multiple linear regression. The result of this research indicated that (1) social competence had a positive influence toward teacher performance in managing classes with a correlation coefficient of 0.584 and a significance of 0.000 and the influence exerted based on an R Square determination score was 37.20% (2) Work motivation had a positive influence toward teacher performance in managing classes where the correlation coefficient score was 0.38 with a significance was 0.000 and the influence based on the R Square determination score was 13.60%. (3) social competence and work motivation together had a positive influence on teacher performance in managing classes at Junior high schools in Muara Bangkahulu Sub-District in Bengkulu City with R Square determination coefficient of 0.417.

The focus of this research is to know and analyze the influence of infrastructure management on teacher performance, school climate influence on teacher performance and the influence of school facilities and school infrastructure management simultaneously on the performance of public junior high school teachers in Jatibarang Subdistrict, Indramayu Regency. Research design using casuality study. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to 60 public junior high school teachers at the Subdistrict Jatibarang Indramayu Regency. The results showed that: (1) The management of facilities and infrastructure had a strong influence on teacher performance, from the correlation coefficient analysis obtained r value = 0.436, meaning that there is a correlation that is moderate. (2) School climate has a moderate effect on teacher performance, from correlation coefficient analysis obtained r value = 0,493, meaning that there is correlation which is moderate.  (3) The management of infrastructure and work facilities simultaneously has a strong effect on the performance of teachers at public junior high school in Jatibarang Subdistrict, Indramayu Regency. The authors suggest, that: (1) In order to maintain the performance of teachers, even further to improve teacher performance to a better direction again. Consideration should be given to maintaining the comfort of school climate through improving interpersonal relationships, system changes and the physical environment surrounding schools. (2) In order to improve the performance of teachers can be done through the provision of learning infrastructure facilities through the management of learning tools. Maintain the availability of teaching aids and teaching media as well as regular monitoring so that the existence and adequacy of learning equipment is more secure.

This study examines the relationship of the teachers’ profile, to the school organizational climate and job satisfaction of the teachers. Using descriptive correlational design, the investigation was participated by 30 junior high schools that were purposively selected through convenient sampling. The results of the statistical analysis revealed that teacher profile such as age, marital status, educational attainment and teaching experience are having positive and significant relation to organizational climate and job satisfaction. Likewise, organizational climate and job satisfaction are also significantly correlated and have directly proportional relationships. As such, organizational leaders, employees/teachers profile has significant bearing in promoting favorable organizational climate while organizational climate has significant contributions in promoting the job satisfaction of the workers.

Student achievement can be determined by the performance of professional teachers, so teachers must be able to improve their professional in responding to the challenges of the times so rapidly. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of compensation, motivation, and commitment to teacher performance at Junior High School Somba Opu Sungguminasa, Gowa District, and to find out the dominant factors influencing. The study population was all teachers at at Junior High School Somba Opu Sungguminasa, Gowa District amounting to 32 people. Because the population is small or less than 100 people, the entire population is sampled (100% sample). The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that simultaneously and partially all independent variables consisting of compensation, motivation, and commitment had a positive and significant effect on the performance of Somba Opu Sungguminasa Junior High School teachers, Gowa District, where compensation was the most significant factor influencing.

This study aims to explore more about the conditions of organizational culture and work motivation of teachers and their influence on the performance of State Junior High School (SMP) teachers in Sector 5 in Indramayu Regency. This type of research is descriptive analytical. The population in this study were all state junior high school teachers in Sector 5 in Indramayu District. The number of teachers in the Public Middle School in Sector 5 of Indramayu Regency was 420 people, namely 81 junior high school teachers in Sector 5 in Sector 5 in Indramayu Regency. Data analysis in this study used descriptive data analysis and multiple regression. The results of the study inform that: (1) there is a positive and significant influence between organizational culture on teacher performance in the Public Middle School in Sector 5 of Indramayu Regency, and the amount of contribution is 7.4%. (2) there is a positive and significant influence between teacher work motivation on teacher performance in the Public Middle School in Sector 5 of Indramayu Regency, and (2) the amount of contribution is 19%. (3) there is a positive and significant influence between organizational culture and teacher work motivation together on the performance of teachers in the Public Middle School in Sector 5 of Indramayu Regency, and (2) the contribution is 22.9%, while the rest is influenced by other factors that do not discussed in this study.

Teacher performance is a critical factor in obtaining the desired level of educational quality, meaning meeting national requirements. Various factors, such as the climate and job motivation, have an impact on teacher performance. As a result, the primary goal of this research is to identify and investigate the effects of climate and job motivation on teacher performance. The descriptive method with a quantitative approach was employed in this study. The research sample was determined proportionately random sampling of 155 respondents from a population of 262. Questionnaires, interview techniques, observation, and documentation are all used to collect data. The regression and correlation analysis approaches were used in the data analysis. The findings of this study show that: (1) Workplace atmosphere has a favorable and significant impact on teacher performance; (2) Work motivation has a favorable impact on teacher performance; (3) Both the work climate and job motivation have a good and considerable impact on teacher performance. Based on these circumstances, the authors propose that: (1) Work atmosphere and motivation have an impact on teacher performance, according to research findings. Meanwhile, teacher performance, particularly in terms of planning and implementing learning, remains a source of worry. As a result, the principle should assist teachers on how to create a proper learning implementation plan and conduct supervision so that learning is better implemented; (2) To improve teacher performance through improving the work environment, clear regulations and more support for a smooth learning process should be prioritized. Meanwhile, to improve teacher performance through work motivation, an emphasis on negative motivation should be implemented, with appropriate rewards and punishments.

This study aims to determine the relationship between compensation andorganizational commitment junior high school teachers in the district Pulo Gadung. Theresearch approach is a quantitative approach to the method used survey methods. Thisstudy uses correlational study analysis. The study population was Junior highschoolteachers in the district Pulo Gadung with the sample amounted to 79 teachers. Samplingwas done randomly by using simple random sampling with data collection using thequestionnaire. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between compensation andorganizational commitment. This means that the higher the compensation it will furtherenhance the organization's commitment junior high school teachers in the district PuloGadung.

This study looks into the impact of the principal's democratic leadership style on teacher performance in junior high schools in Palopo City's Bara District. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research is ex-post facto. The population is all junior high school teachers in the Bara sub-district of Palopo city, totaling 134 people. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique. The sample used was 39 teachers—data obtained through questionnaires and documentation. Furthermore, the research data were analyzed statistically using data processing, namely: Descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. This study found that the democratic leadership style displayed by the principal has a strong influence and significance on the performance of teachers in SMP/MTs in Bara District, Palopo City. This is because the leadership style displayed by the principal through several indicators can provide a significant enough stimulant to the teacher so that teachers' work motivation can increase adequately, which impacts the achievement of educational and learning goals in schools. This study implies the importance of the leadership style displayed by the principal in building teacher motivation and commitment in schools to generate optimal teacher performance in schools.
