The basic concept of the Great Commission is evangelism and discipleship carried out by churches and Christian communities around the world including in Indonesia. This concept is carried out in a face-to-face pattern and communicates verbally with each other physically. However, all patterns of this activity must be stopped due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak that hit the world. The establishment of preventive measures in the form of restrictions on the movement of people and the application of health protocols become a major barrier to the continuation of evangelistic and discipleship programs. Therefore, a strategy is needed by applying new patterns so that evangelistic and discipleship work can still be carried out even during the Covid-19 pandemic. From the results of the analysis conducted through desk research and focus group discussion, it was agreed that the Church should force itself to reposition, find and obtain the most appropriate solution to overcome these limitations. With the development of digital technology, the possibility to obtain solutions for the revitalization of the great mandate in evangelism and discipleship programs becomes wide open. The development of digital technology opens the limitations of human-to-human relationships in various ways. Thus the process of evangelism and discipleship can be done under any conditions including during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The purpose of this study was to investigate church leaders’ perceptions of motivational factors for a sports ministry in churches in Pretoria. A survey questionnaire was developed by the researchers to investigate the above perceptions. The survey consisted of demographic questions and perception questions using a structured and a semi-structured questionnaire. The results of the survey were assessed by calculating the significance of each motivational factor for a sports ministry in the church, as perceived by the respondents. Participants were recruited from 32 church leaders from a wide variety of denominational and cultural backgrounds in Pretoria. Results showed that a sports ministry could assist the church in evangelism and fulfilling the Great Commission. Over 95% of all respondents agreed that a sports ministry would have a positive impact on evangelism. The results of the survey showed that the participants from the churches in Pretoria are supportive of a sports ministry as a general strategy to help churches to promote evangelism and outreach, to cross cultural barriers, to keep in touch with society and to provide a place for teaching life skills and develop leaders.

Jesus' model for discipleship (John 15:1–16) is grounded within a context of human and divine relationships: abiding in Christ, fellowshipping with other disciples, and ministering to needs of others in the world and in the church. As the Christian community becomes increasingly reliant on digital technology and the Internet to provide an environment and resources for disciple-making we must also be familiar with the available options and understand the benefits and limitations of using these methods as we seek to establish and enhance these essential spiritual relationships.

Abstract The Church Missionary Society “Mission of Help” to the Syrian Church of Travancore in the nineteenth century provides much instructive food for thought concerning debates that continue in mission up to the present day. In particular, the episode shows that the links between mission and empire cannot be reduced to seeing mission as a mere handmaiden to imperial concerns, although empire certainly provided a context to missionary endeavor throughout the imperial period. In this specific instance it was the forceful personality of Colonel John Munro who ensured that the Mission of Help became more intertwined with empire than might otherwise have been the case. Another effect of this imperial context for the Mission of Help was that the nature and scope of mission inevitably ended up being broadened to include aspects of societal transformation. It is shown that Benjamin Bailey was not primarily motivated by such concerns, yet was not unconcerned about them. Bailey’s thinking through of these tensions perhaps provide a way to think today about the links between the “Great Commission,” the “Great Commandment,” and cultural transformation.

Discipleship is undeniably the psychomotor of the church as well as the application of the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Himself did discipleship which started with 12 disciples as well as 70 disciples. Likewise with the life of the Apostles, there were Paul, Silas, Timothy and Titus, where they became messengers of Christ Jesus the Lord preaching about the Kingdom of Heaven. The kingdom of heaven gave birth to the church. So the youth with the concept of the kingdom of heaven should be a bridge for the millennial generation. Millennials tend to be: Multitasking (working with a variety of activities), Collaboration (strong collaboration skills), Transparency (openness in many fields), balance of work and way of life (healthy ways of life and nutritious intake), Tech savvy that is concerned with the latest technology / updates status, connected in social media, hard worker, concerned with job satisfaction. Reaching the end of the concept of discipleship with power of ministry based on the kingdom of heaven has not been as expected unto the millennial generation in life will become a strong generation with a mentality that is more than a winner with the power of the Lord Jesus working in their lives. They live under free sex, drugs and pornography ect. How can we as a leader to disciple them and knowing heavenly Father to become a millennial generation who have dignity and are directed towards the glory of God.

This theme discusses the exegetical study of contextual evangelism in 1 Corinthians 9: 19-23. Contextual evangelism has always been an interesting topic in discussions of Missiology and Ecclesiology. Although sometimes controversy, contextual evangelism is still one of the effective methods of preaching the gospel to the neglected tribes. The preaching of the cross-cultural gospel was one of the points Paul talked about with the church in the city of Corinth. The Apostle Paul said that preaching the gospel was a must for him (1 Corinthians 9:16). And in chapters 9: 19-23 the apostle Paul tells how the method or method he used to preach the gospel to those who are culturally different from himself. Gospel preaching is a mandate or the Great Commission given by the Lord Jesus to believers, and must be preached to all tribes and languages. In preaching the Gospel, Paul sets an example that is a strategy in contextual evangelism. The Apostle Paul willingly devoted himself "I made myself a servant, 1 Corinthians 9:19." Paul also adjusted to be able to understand those of different cultures "by becoming like". So you can win as much as possible. As well as a strong vision to win as many people as possible for Christ, so that they become saved. Paul understood the mandate given, to make Jews and non-Jews to be mursed Christ. Challenges and obstacles in preaching Inil are always there, but understanding methods based on God's word is the choice to get rid of these obstacles.

Cross-cultural evangelism is the duty of all believers without exception. In Acts 10 there is an interesting phenomenon related to cross-cultural service. In the verse it is recorded that the apostle Peter was given the task by God through a vision to go to Cornelius's place, to preach about Jesus. Cornelius was a Greek while the apostle Peter was Jewish. The Apostle Peter was a Jew who held strong Jewish customs. This shows the cross-cultural service that is happening. This article aims to describe the implementation of cross-cultural services based on Acts 10:34-43. The author uses descriptive qualitative research methods by analyzing data such as books and journals. From the results of the analysis, the authors found that the church needs to introduce Christ as a God who loves everyone, preach that everyone deserves salvation, deliver the news of peace through Jesus Christ to all, and deliver the news of peace through Jesus Christ to everyone. Doing good is universal in which all people with various religious, ethnic and other backgrounds must be happy to do good. The problems that arise in the question are as follows: What are the values of doing good according to the Bible? What is the challenge of "doing good" according to the dimensions of Multicultural Theology? How is the implementation of Multicultural Theology education about doing good into Christian ministry? The answer is: (1) Good deeds are commands given by God to His people. If a human being wants to be said to be good, he is obliged to do good. Because good deeds have a universal character. (2) The challenge of doing good in the dimension of multicultural theology is: the challenge of doing good in theocentric, the challenge of doing good in Christocentric (the principle of the Incarnation, the principle of salvation, the principle of the Holy Spirit, and the principle of the Naturality of the Church) and (2) the challenge "Doing Good" from Theocentric to Christocentric ". (3) Multicultural theology regarding "doing good" becomes a very influential implementation to lead someone to enter the concept of theocracy which is then sharpened to Christocentric. Here the value of the Great Commission of Jesus Christ to win people becomes real and can be implemented properly. But, of course, the work of the Holy Spirit in the believer is critical to the success of the Great Commission mission.f
