This research aims to analyze the influence of religiosity and the county of origin against the purchase intention in KFC Pandanaran Semarang with consumer attitudes as intervening variable. The population in this research is a college student of economic faculty of Islamic University of Sultan Agung. The technique of the sample with a purposive sampling method and incidental sampling.Samples taken as many as 100 collage students, with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire.Data analysis using SPSS 23.0. The results showed that religiosity and country of origin has a positive and significant effect on consumer attitudes. Country of origin and consumer attitudes has a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention. Religiosity has a negative and significant effect on purchase intention. Consumer attitudes not as intervening variables between religiosity towards purchase intention and between the country of origin towards purchase intention.Keywords: Religiosity, Country of origin, Consumer attitudes, and Purchase intention.

This study aims to test the influence of country of origin image and word of mouth on perceived quality. Then, the country of origin image and word of mouth and perceived quality on purchase intention of digital camera from Japan. The number of samples in this research are 230 respondents taken by purposive sampling method. Analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used to test the hypothesis. The results of this study showed that country of origin image and word of mouth have a positive and significant effect on perceived quality. Then, Word of mouth and perceived quality have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention but a country of origin image has no significant effect on purchase intention.

 ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of Law Number 16 Year 2006 as Basic Law of Revitalization of Agricultural Extension Case in Banyuasin Regency and to know the obstacles in the implementation of Law Number 16 Year 2006 as Basic Law of Revitalization of Agricultural Extension Case in Banyuasin Regency then to know response agricultural extension workers  and farmers with the implementation of Law Number 16 of 2006 as Basic Law of Revitalization of Agricultural Extension Case in Banyuasin Regency.  This research was conducted in Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera Province.  The research method used is Case Study method, for sampling method used Purposive Sampling, Simple Random Sampling and Accidental Sampling method.  Data collection methods used in this study are observation and direct interviews to the respondents.  Data processing is done by using descriptive-qualitative method.  From the results of research shows Implementation of agricultural extension revitalization in Banyuasin Regency has been run in accordance with the law number 16 of 2006 and the obstacles faced in the implementation is the problem of budget and shortage of extension workers then Agricultural Extension workers give a positive response because with the application of legislation Number 16 of 2006 agricultural extension has a clear basic law so that its activities become more focused then the response from farmers with the implementation of the law also gives a good response because they feel that agricultural extension becomes more active in carrying out its activities.ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2006 Sebagai Payung Hukum Revitalisasi Penyuluhan Pertanian Kasus di Kabupaten Banyuasin beserta hambatan dalam penerapannya dan kemudian untuk mengetahui respon penyuluh dan petani dengan diterapkannya Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2006 Sebagai Payung Hukum Revitalisasi Penyuluhan Pertanian Kasus di Kabupaten Banyuasin.  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Banyuasin Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus (Case Study), untuk metode penarikan contoh digunakan metode Purposive Sampling, Simple Random Sampling, dan Accidental Sampling.  Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara langsung kepada responden.  Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif.  Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan Implementasi revitalisasi penyuluhan pertanian di wilayah Kabupaten Banyuasin telah berjalan sesuai dengan undang-undang nomor 16 tahun 2006.  Lalu hambatan yang dihadapai dalam penerapan tersebut adalah masalah anggaran dan kekurangan tenaga penyuluh pertanian. Kemudian penyuluh pertanian memberikan respon yang positif karena dengan diterapkannya undang-undang nomor 16 tahun 2006 penyuluhan pertanian memiliki payung hukum yang jelas sehingga kegiatannya menjadi lebih terarah.  Sedangkan respon dari petani dengan diterapkannya undang-undang tersebut juga memberikan tanggapan yang baik karena mereka merasa bahwa penyuluh pertanian menjadi lebih aktif dalam melaksanakan kegiatannya.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji peran brand image dalam memediasi pengaruh country of origin terhadap niat beli motor Vespa Piaggio di kota Denpasar. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel adalah non-probability berbentuk purposive sampling dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 120 orang responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung di Kota Denpasar. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (path analysis) dan uji sobel. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara country of origin terhadap brand image, hubungan yang positif dan singnifikan antara country of origin terhadap niat beli serta brand image mampu memediasi hubungan antara terhadap niat beli konsumen pada motor merek Vespa Piaggio di Kota Denpasar. Hasil tersebut berarti semakin baik citra negara asal merek serta semakin kuat brand image yang tertanam di benak konsumen, akan berpengaruh terhadap niat beli mereka akan suatu produk. Kata kunci: country of origin, brand image, niat beli ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to test the role of brand image in mediating the influence of country of origin on the intention to buy a motor Vespa Piaggio in the city of Denpasar. The method used to determine the sample is non-probability in the form of purposive sampling with sample size of 120 respondents. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires directly in Denpasar City. The analysis technique used is path analysis and test of sobel. The research findings show that there is a positive and significant correlation between country of origin to brand image, positive and significant relationship between country of origin to purchase intention and brand image able to mediate relationship between consumer purchase intention on Vespa Piaggio brand motor in Denpasar city. The result means the better the image of the home country of the brand and the stronger the brand image embedded in the minds of consumers, will affect their purchase intention of a product. ABSTRACT   REPRODUCTION PERFORMANCE OF FORMER RACING FEMALE HORSE AT PINABETENGAN VILLAGE WEST TOMPASO DISTRICT OF MINAHASA REGENCY. Horse was the special animal to gain more money compare with any other animals. Breeding management related to reproduction of racing female horse must be taken intensively to produce a standard racing Indonesian horse called Indonesian racing horse (Kuda Pacu Indonesia, KPI). This study was conducted to evaluate reproduction performance of former racing female horse including first mating age, period time of estrus cycle, service per conception, foaling interval at Pinabetengan village, west Tompaso district of Minahasa regency. This village was a core area of farmer maintaining more racing horse in Minahasa regency. This study was done using purposive sampling method and focused on 103 former racing female horses as case study observation in obtaining primer data. The interview was also conducted to the owners of racing horse. Results showed that the averages of first mating age was 5.72 years, period time of estrus cycle was 21.67 days, service per conception was 1.65, and foaling interval was 11.98 months. Therefore, it can be concluded that former racing female horses at Pinabetengan village were included at good category of reproduction performance.   Key words: First mating age, estrus cycle period time, service per conception, foaling interval, Pinabetengan village

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of service quality and price partially or simultaneously to customer satisfaction level on using services from PT. Lion Air flight operation at Soekarno Hatta Airport. Quantitative research method is used in this study through questionnaires to 160 respondents. Purposive sampling method was chosen to collect the data, then the data were then analysed using SPSS to achieve the study’s objective. The results showed that service quality and price have significant effect on customer satisfaction simultaneously and partially. This study give contribution for the practitioners in aviation industry to put service quality and price as one of their strategy to increase customer satisfaction, and this study also can be used by academicians and future researchers to enhance their knowledge in the field of marketing and strategic management.

This study aims to determine the effect of the country of origin on purchase intention of imported cosmetic products by moderating the variable product knowledge. The independent variables in this study are the country of origin, purchase intention as the dependent variable and product knowledge as the moderator variable. A total of 73 questionnaires were distributed to students in Malang that were selected using a purposive sampling technique, which was then analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. Purposive sampling technique is used to select students who use imported cosmetic products. All hypotheses in this study are accepted which showed that the country of origin influenced the purchase intention, and product knowledge moderated the influence of the country of origin on purchase intention.

This paper aims to examine the falling standard of Nigerian universities by discussing whose responsibility is it for the failure to meet standards. The paper was not designed to criticize any officers’ roles or duties but intends to investigate who should be responsible for maintaining adequate standards within universities. The paper started by elucidating from the extant literature issues relating to quality and how it has been perceived in the Nigeria university context. The paper uses a qualitative approach with interview as the main research instrument. The study uses purposive sampling method to selected 9 universities located in different part of Southwest area in Nigeria, 3 of each from the 3 main owners (federal, state, private). The findings reveal that responsibility for the failing standard of university education in Nigeria is no-one’s responsibility but everyone’s business.

The purpose of this study is to identify the translation methods of sound words from weapon collisions in Legends of the Condor Heroes. This qualitative case study probes into how the sound words from weapons collisions are translated. The translation material of this study adopts translated Volume I and Volume II of Legends of the Condor Heroes. The sound words or expressions (n=120) of weapon collisions are collected based on purposive sampling method. Data is analyzed by inductive thematic analysis method. The finding illustrates that the sound words from weapon collisions are translated with the methods of omission with the figure of 48%, onomatopoeia of 29% and explication 23% in the translation version. In conclusion, the trend of translation method of sound words from weapon collisions in Legends of the Condor Heroes goes towards target language-oriented translation.
