The purpose of this research was to determine the differences in students learning result between who apply inquiry learning models and expository models. This research is experimental research. The research design used is a nonequivalent control group. The sampling technique is done by random sampling. The analysis prerequisite test is the distribution normality test and variance homogeneity. Based on the results of data analysis, obtained tcount = 2.332 with p = 0.0024 <0.01, so the hypothesis is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there are very significant student differences learning result in grade IV SD Negeri Rejowinangun I Yogyakarta between those who apply the inquiry learning model and the expository learning model. The mean score of the science learning result of students who applied the inquiry learning model 16.03 was higher than the expository learning model 12.74. It means that there is an influence of the inquiry learning model on the learning result of Natural Sciences students in grade IV SD Negeri Rejowinangun I Yogyakarta.

By the theory, the inquiry learning model can improve the students' mathematical creative thinking skills due to the students learn by themselves intensively, involved in the learning process directly and they can find and investigate any problems logically and systematically. This study aims to find out the inquiry learning process in the Pythagorean Theorem topic and its effectiveness to increase the sudents’ mathematical creative thinking skills. This research used the mixed method with sequential exploratory model. The population of this research is the VIII students of the state islamic junior high school (MTsN) 6 Kerinci. The VIII C and the VIII A of MTsN 6 Kerinci were selected as the experimental and the control group through random sampling technique. The data of learning process was obtained through observation and the data of students' mathematical creative thinking skills was obtained through the tests of mathematical creative thinking skills. The results of data analysis concluded that the inquiry learning model was effective to improve the students’ mathematical creative thinking skills.

This study aims to determine the students’ science process skills towards Salt Hydrolysis material in class XI IPA of SMA Katolik Talino Ambawang before and after being given the problem-posing learning model by using Ferris wheel hydrolysis and how much it improves the skills. It is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, of which the subjects are 12 students of XI IPA. The normality test used on the pretest and posttest results is the Shapiro-Wilk test, which results in a normal distribution, Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) greater than 0,05 with a significance pretest of 0,197 and postest of 0,547. The t-test results of the pairing sample indicate that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value is less than 0.05, which is 0,000 < 0.05. It was concluded that there is a difference between the students’ science process before and after the treatment. The mean scores of the students’ skills before and after the treatment are respectively 45,69% and 82,36%, with a high category. The value of 0,68 from the N-Gain calculation showed that the problem-posing learning model using Ferris wheel hydrolysis on Salt Hydrolysis material improved the students’ skills with the medium category.

This research is intended to find out the effect of using think pair share learning model towards students’ writing ability at class VII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. The method used in this research is quasi experimental design by using the randomized posttest only control design. The sample is taken by using purposive sampling technique. The sample of this research is 72 students; 36 students of control class without think pair share learning model and 36 students of experimental class with think pair share learning model. The requirement test is done by using normality test and homogenity test. The normality test of the postest is done by using Liliefors test. The result of normality which is taken from the control test is L0 < Lt (0,115 < 0,147) while the result of normality test in experimental class is L0 < Lt (0,135 < 0,147) and homogenity test in which Fcount < Ftable (1,054<1,74). It means that in normal and homogenity test, so the hypothesis can be tested. The hypothesis test is done by using t-test formula. The result of the research shows that the value of tcount = 6,25 which is higher than ttable = 1,665. In the level of significancy α = 0,05 with dk is 70. The mean of posttest which is required from the experimental class is 88,61 and the mean of posttest which is required from the control class is 73,61. Thus, it can be concluded that the think pair share learning model has a significant effect towards students’ writing ability at class VIIA and VIIC SMP Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. Keywords: Think Pair Share Model, Writing, Personal Letter

This research is aimed to examine the effect of guided inquiry learning model toward physics students’ concept mastery and science process skills at class XI of MAN 2 Mataram in academic year 2017/2018. This is experiment research with posttest-only control group design. The Population of this research is all students of class XI MIA MAN 2 Mataram. The sampling technique used is purposive and cluster random sampling, which is the students of class XI MIA 5 as experiment and XI MIA 4 as control group. The experiment group was treated with guided inquiry learning model while the control group was treated with conventional learning. Technique of collectig data of the mastery concept using essay test 8 question, the skills of science process using non-test instruments in the form of observation sheets. The hypothesis was tested using manova based SPSS 16.0. The result of manova test showed that there was an effect of guided inquiry learning model toward mastery of concept and skill of science process.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak kelompok B di TK Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B di TK Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat yang berjumlah 20 kelas (459 anak). Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 25 anak kelompok B1 TK Kusuma sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 20 anak kelompok B1 TK Widya Kusuma Sari sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode non tes berupa observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung = 7,463 dan pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan dk = 43 diperoleh ttabel = 2,021 sehingga thitung = 7,463 > ttabel = 2,021, maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan antara kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran picture and picture dengan kelompok anak yang tidak dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran picture and picture. Adapun nilai rata-rata gain skor kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan kelompok eksperimen X1 = 0,74 > X2 = 0,39 pada kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran picture and picture berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak kelompok B di TK Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran picture and picture, kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan, kognitif. The study aims at revealing the effect of picture and picture learning model toward the mastery of numeral concept in children group B in kindergarten Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat academic year 2017/2018. This type of study is a quasi experiment with nonquivalent control group design. The population of this study was all children (459 children) in group B (20 classes) in kindigarten Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat. The sample was determined through random sampling technique. The samples of study werw 25 children of B1 group in Kusuma kindergarten as the experiment group and of B1 group in Widya Kusuma Sari kindergarten as the control group. The data were collected through non test method in a form of observation. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The data shows thitung = 7,463 and at the significant level 5% ( =0,05) with dk = (25+20) – 2 = 43 obtained ttabel = 2,021. It indicates a significant different in mastering the nominal concept *between the group of children who were taught through the picture and picture learning model with the group who were nou taught through this learning model. The average of the gained score was experiment group X1 = 0,74 > X2 = 0,39 control group. It can be concluded that the picture and picture learning model has a significant effect toward the mastery of numeral concept in children group B in kindergarten Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat academic year 2017/2018.keyword : *picture and picture learning model, the mastery of numeral concept, cognitive.

This study aims to determine the differences in students' reading interest in biology learning models based on remap CIRC, GI, and TGT. It is a quasi-experiment implemented in Public High School N of Malang, Indonesia and Public High School S of Malang, Indonesia in the odd semester of 2014/2015. The research population was all students of 10th grade of Public High School of Malang, Indonesia. The sampling technique was random sampling.  The research sample consisted of 10th-grade science 1 of Public High School N of Malang, Indonesia, 10th-grade science 2 of Public High School N of Malang Indonesia, and 10th-grade science 1 of Public High School S of Malang, Indonesia as an experiment group; and 10th-grade science 3 of Public High School N of Malang, Indonesia as a control group. The analysis was carried out in a quantitative. The result showed that the CIRC  remapping learning model had the greatest influence on students' reading interest compared to GI and TGT. The students’ reading interest scores using remap CIRC, GI, and TGT models were 82.90, 76.23, and 80.49. Remap CIRC, GI, and TGT model should be applied in biology learning because it can empower students' reading interest.

This research is a quasy experiment which aimed to finding out the effect of contextual learning model implementation assisted by media flash on the understanding concept of physics in SMPN 1 Labuapi. The population is all class VIII which filled by 117 students, while the sample of this research is class VIII B with 23 students as experiment group and grade VIII C with 23 students as control group. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research design used is nonequivalent control group design. The hypothesis is tested by t-test separated varians. Based on by calculation hypothesis testing obtained that there is a difference of understanding concept of physics between experiment group which is given treatment with contextual learning model assisted by media flash and control group which is given treatment as convensional learning. The mean of the posttest for experiment group is greater than control group, so it can be obtained that contextual learning model assisted by media flash given positive result for understanding concept of physics in grade VIII SMPN 1 Labuapi. N-gain test given that for all of sub materi of light showed that the increasing of understanding concept of physics of class experiment is higher than control class, so it can be obtained that the increasing of understanding concept of physics of experiment group is higher than control group.

Students who are less enthusiastic in participating in learning both individually and in groups and the teacher's inability to apply learning models that can create interesting and fun learning. The purpose of the study was to analyze the Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectual (SAVI) learning model with the aid of an icebreaker on the science learning outcomes of class V students. This study was quasi-research with a non-equivalent post-test-only group design. This study used a population of all students of class V, which amounted to 128 people. Based on the random sampling technique, the sample was assigned to the experimental group, namely class V with 25 students, and the control group, namely class V with 25 students. The data collection method used is the test method, namely a multiple-choice test, totaling 30 questions. The data that has been collected is then processed with descriptive and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the average science learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group are greater than the control group (18.34>15.78). The results of the t-test showed tcount 3,598 and ttable with a significance level of 5% obtained 2,021. Based on the test results tcount > ttable (3.598 > 2.021), so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectualy assisted learning model with the help of icebreaker on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students.

The experimental research is aimed to revealing the difference between science process through inquiry learning model and inquiry learning model with pictorial riddle method for students in SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsari academic year 2015/2016. The research designs is using pretest posttest control group design. The samples were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The population is all students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsari grade VIII, while the samples are the  students in VIII D class (experiment class 1) and VIII F class (experiment class 2). The instrument of this research  is the science process skills test in form of reasoned multiple choice, which has been tested statistically it’s  validity, reliability, discrimination index and level of difficulty of  the item. The data analysed used  independent sample t-test at significant  level  of 5 % with  tcount is 2,535 and ttable  is 1,671 because tcoun > ttable,, then H0  is  rejected and Ha accepted. The result indicates that there is a difference between science process through inquiry learning model and  inquiry learning  model with  pictorial riddle  method for student in SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsari academic year  2015/2016.

This study aims to find out: (1) the differences in science concept mastery of students who take guided inquiry learning model with conventional learning, (2) the differences in science concept mastery of students that prior knowledge high and low prior knowledge. This method of research is an quasi-experimental with factorial 2x2 analysis design. The subject of this study was ten class of 8th grade student in SMP 10 Mataram 2014/2015. Two class was chosen as sample using cluster random sampling technique, one classes as experimental group and one classes of control group. The research instrument is science mastery concept made by teacher. Data were analyzed using ANCOVA to find the effect of learning model and prior knowledge to science concept mastery. Analyses were performed using SPSS version 20 for Windows. Based on the analysis can be concluded that: 1) There are differences in science concept mastery of students who take guided inquiry learning model compared to conventional learning. 2) There is no difference in concept science mastery of students who have high and low prior knowledge of students.
