This study aims to determine the students’ science process skills towards Salt Hydrolysis material in class XI IPA of SMA Katolik Talino Ambawang before and after being given the problem-posing learning model by using Ferris wheel hydrolysis and how much it improves the skills. It is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, of which the subjects are 12 students of XI IPA. The normality test used on the pretest and posttest results is the Shapiro-Wilk test, which results in a normal distribution, Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) greater than 0,05 with a significance pretest of 0,197 and postest of 0,547. The t-test results of the pairing sample indicate that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value is less than 0.05, which is 0,000 < 0.05. It was concluded that there is a difference between the students’ science process before and after the treatment. The mean scores of the students’ skills before and after the treatment are respectively 45,69% and 82,36%, with a high category. The value of 0,68 from the N-Gain calculation showed that the problem-posing learning model using Ferris wheel hydrolysis on Salt Hydrolysis material improved the students’ skills with the medium category.

This study aims: 1) to determine differences in science process skills of students with learning model inquiry training and conventional learning models, 2) to determine the difference science process skills of students who have high creativity and creativity is low, 3) to determine the interaction model of learning inquiry trainingwith creativity of the science process skills. The sampling technique conducted cluster random sampling two classes, where first class as a class experiment with the number of students 32 people applied learning model inquiry training (X-1) and the second class as a class control the number of students 32 people who applied conventional learning model ( X-2). Instruments in this study is the science process skills test and a test of creativity in the form of a description. From these results it can be concluded that: 1) science process skills of students that learned with a learning model inquiry training is better than the students that learned with conventional learning models, 2)science process skills of students with high creativity better than students with creativity is low, 3) there is interaction between inquirylearning model training and creativity in influencing the science process skills of students.

This research is intended to find out the effect of using think pair share learning model towards students’ writing ability at class VII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. The method used in this research is quasi experimental design by using the randomized posttest only control design. The sample is taken by using purposive sampling technique. The sample of this research is 72 students; 36 students of control class without think pair share learning model and 36 students of experimental class with think pair share learning model. The requirement test is done by using normality test and homogenity test. The normality test of the postest is done by using Liliefors test. The result of normality which is taken from the control test is L0 < Lt (0,115 < 0,147) while the result of normality test in experimental class is L0 < Lt (0,135 < 0,147) and homogenity test in which Fcount < Ftable (1,054<1,74). It means that in normal and homogenity test, so the hypothesis can be tested. The hypothesis test is done by using t-test formula. The result of the research shows that the value of tcount = 6,25 which is higher than ttable = 1,665. In the level of significancy α = 0,05 with dk is 70. The mean of posttest which is required from the experimental class is 88,61 and the mean of posttest which is required from the control class is 73,61. Thus, it can be concluded that the think pair share learning model has a significant effect towards students’ writing ability at class VIIA and VIIC SMP Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. Keywords: Think Pair Share Model, Writing, Personal Letter

The purpose of this research was to determine the differences in students learning result between who apply inquiry learning models and expository models. This research is experimental research. The research design used is a nonequivalent control group. The sampling technique is done by random sampling. The analysis prerequisite test is the distribution normality test and variance homogeneity. Based on the results of data analysis, obtained tcount = 2.332 with p = 0.0024 <0.01, so the hypothesis is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there are very significant student differences learning result in grade IV SD Negeri Rejowinangun I Yogyakarta between those who apply the inquiry learning model and the expository learning model. The mean score of the science learning result of students who applied the inquiry learning model 16.03 was higher than the expository learning model 12.74. It means that there is an influence of the inquiry learning model on the learning result of Natural Sciences students in grade IV SD Negeri Rejowinangun I Yogyakarta.

Lack of understanding of the concept has an impact on the low value of student scores in Indonesian language and natural science content. The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the average ability of students' understanding of concepts between before and after the STAD learning model-assisted ALPIN media and measure the increase in students' understanding of concepts after being taught using the STAD learning model-assisted ALPIN media. This research is a quantitative study with a Pre-Experimental Design in the form of The One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was a student of class IV SD 2. Sampling is done by a saturated sampling technique. The sample in this study was class IV SD 2, which amounted to 29 students. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The data analysis technique used in processing research data is the normality test as a prerequisite test. In testing the research hypotheses used were paired sample t-test, N-gain test. The results showed that there were differences in the average ability of students' understanding of concepts after applying the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model-assisted ALPIN media, there is an increase in the ability to understand the concepts of students after using the STAD learning model-assisted ALPIN media.

The success of students in dealing with the globalization era of scientific literacy needs to be supported by practising skills, one of the skills that must be mastered by students in the science process skills and scientific questioning skills. This study aims to determine the implementation of the question webs based learning model of learning to improve science process skills and scientific questioning skills in grade X students at SMAN 1 Darul Imarah using a quasi-experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. The samples were taken by purposive sampling technique which was then divided into experimental and control groups. The data were collected from pretest and posttest scores which were then tested based on N-gain values. The results showed that the score of science process skills and scientific questioning skills of experimental class students obtained higher mean scores than control class mean scores. Statistically, it can be seen that testing the results of tests using the t-test 4.507 for science process skills and 29.79 for scientific questioning skills with a significant difference. The conclusion of this study shows that the question web-based learning model improve science process skills and scientific questioning skills compared to conventional models.

Low mastery of physics concepts due to lack of process skills which it was trained in the learning process. The observation result that the failure to achieve mastery of concepts in physics due to some subject-oriented learning process in practice only a matter of course in learning cognitive aspects. Learning model problem based learning with inquiry approach is able to train and involve students' process skills to solve a problem through the stages of the scientific method. This study aims to measure the increase in the mastery of concepts and science process skills after application of the learning model are compared with the conventional model. The design used in this study is to pretest and posttest control group study with a sample of students grade XI IPA-6 and XI IPA-7 in high school one of Bandung, which is determined by purposeful sampling technique. The results showed that the significant influence the implementation of the learning model to increase mastery of the concept of elasticity in the experimental class with high category (<g> = 0.77) higher increase than the control class who were categorized (<g> = 0.50), the existence of significant influence implementation of the learning model of science process skills enhancement with high category (<g> = 0.87) higher increase than the control class increased with category (<g> = 0.59). And the linear correlation (Ftc=3,2<F(0,99.(5⁄33)=3,635) positive improvement of science process skills to increase after application of the concept of mastery learning model is categorized high (0.508<ρ<0.887). This study aims to improve the science process skills of children aged 5-6 years through a project-based learning model. This research is a type of quasy experiment with an equivalent time series design. The research subjects consisted of 88 group children, namely children aged 5-6 years from 6 Kindergartens in Sleman Regency. Data collection was carried out using observation. Then the data were analyzed using one way ANOVA and got the sig value. 0.00, which means that there is a difference in the mean ranking of process science skills after using a project-based science learning model, so the results of this study indicate that an effective project-based science learning model is used to improve science process skills of children aged 5-6 years.

<p>Science process skills is important to developing the quality of students’ learning in science. This research aimed to determine the effect of generative learning xmodel on students' science process skills of the topic Light. This type of research was pre-exprimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this research consisted of all students of class VIII in SMPN 5 Singkawang City. The research samples consisted of the students of class VIII E the total number of 20 students and the sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The research instrument used in this research was description test. Data were analyzed by using paired t-test. From the calculation results was obtained the value of -t<sub>ob</sub><sub>tained</sub> &lt; -t<sub>c</sub><sub>ritical</sub> or -21.36 &lt; -2.093, then H<sub>o</sub> was rejected and H<sub>a</sub> was accepted at the level of significance α = 0.05. So it can be concluded that there was an effect of generative learning model on students’ science process skills in the topic of Light.<em></em></p>

This study is based on the low level of students' science process skills. This is because in the learning process that takes place students are more passive role and only receive learning materials provided by the teacher. Model Problem Based Learning is a learning model that is using the problem as a benchmark, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) on Science process skills To the material of the respiratory system in the class XI on SMA PGRI Prabumulih. This research uses quasi-experimental research (Quasi Experimental Reasearch) using descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques. The instrument used in this research is the test and performance assessment. Analysis of the data from the two classes using t-test Independen Sampel t test Analysis of the data from the two classes using t-test with independent testing samples test-t with t count> t table (2,066> 2,000), then H 0 rejected and H a accepted, which means that the model of problem based learning affects the students' science process skills, and Paired sample t-test in experimental class with the value t count <t table (-6.353 <-2.045), then Ho is rejected it means there is a difference science process skills between before and after the implementation of the learning model of problem-based learning. It was concluded that model of problem based learning It was concluded that model of problem based learning affects on the material respiratory system science process skills of students in class XI SMA PGRI Prabumulih.

This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning model with debriefing prior knowledge of the science process skills of learners. This research is a quasi experimental research using non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study is all students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Montong Gading. The sampling of the research using saturated sampling technique, so that the selected class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class will be given treatment in the form of problem-based learning model with initial knowledge knowledge and class XI IPA 2 as the control class to be given treatment in the form of problem-based learning model. Data collection of science process skills using observation techniques on the observation sheet. Hypothesis test using t-pooled variance test obtained tcount value is greater than ttable. The result of the research shows that the use of problem-based learning model with prior knowledge sharing influences the science process skill of SMA students.
