College of Informatics and Computer Management (STMIK) Bumigora Mataram, for Computer Network competencies are elective courses that network security system which addresses the cryptographic material using a lecture and power point as a medium while studying in the classroom. Those problems led to the idea to create teaching aids media applications using cryptographic message digest algorithm 5 (MD5). Cryptography is the science that is used to encrypt a message, so the message private. On the application every student can learn and try to direct the activities of the MD5 algorithm program in step by step. This algorithm has a characteristic that the message is converted into a message digest can not be restored into the original message. Two different messages always produce different hash values. So as to facilitate faculty to improve student comprehension. Based on theresults of questionnaires to the lecturer stated that the application can assist the lecturer delivered material MD5 cryptographic algorithm. And the results of the questionnaire of the student that can be assisted in doing to learn anytime and anywhere as long as the application can access media learning aids such as web-based applications online.

This paper reports on the experimental use of a broadband computer network hypermedia environment for language learning (French, English and Spanish). Using Web-based resources, students engage in a collaborative task over a network which offers high quality video-conferencing, application sharing and access to authentic multimedia resources. One of the main aims was to establish the practicalities of providing learners of languages with opportunities to engage in reciprocal peer tutoring. After outlining the pedagogical assumptions, and describing the set-up of the network-based learning environment, the trials are analysed, and the effectiveness of network-based language learning in supporting collaborative learning is discussed.

Objectives: Different teaching aids are advocated in the medical colleges for delivery of lectures such as power point presentation, blackboard, transparency sheet, overhead projectors, extempore and lecture sheets .The aim of our study was to compare the more acceptable teaching methods between the students of Dhaka Medical College and Enam Medical College. Materials and Methods: Total one hundred students were selected from fourth year in each medical college. They were asked to fill in a fourteen item questionnaire about their perception of five lecture delivery methods. Questionnaire was properly explained. The results were analyzed separately to find out any differences between preferences of teaching methods in both medical colleges. Results: In DMC 50% students preferred traditional blackboard method ,25% PowerPoint presentations, 5% both blackboard and PowerPoint, 16% extempore and 4% lecture sheet .On the other hand, in EMC, 53% mentioned PowerPoint presentation as most acceptable, 38% blackboard, 5% combined blackboard and PowerPoint and 4% extempore. Some important comments were recorded which could be valuable for the medical teachers. Conclusion: The study showed that students of DMC clearly prefer traditional blackboard method rather than other teaching aids, whereas students of EMC prefer PowerPoint presentation. The study does not bring out any evidence based superiority of any lecture delivery method. It appears that any teaching aid can be appropriate and effective if the teachers are properly trained. This highlights the need for formal training in teaching technologies for good presentation and thus motivate the students. With the rapid development of computer network, the network architecture is increasingly complicated; the scale of network extends continuously. Therefore, the functions and positions of the network management are also more and more important. The Web-Based network management, making users manage the network and system expediently and simply, combining Web technology and modern distributed network management technology, which can also be updated and customized easily to meet the different needs, is an important direction of the development of the network management technology in the future. This paper proposes an a SNMP-based Web network management system using B/S structure, which has features of flexible structure, easily extensible, user-friendly features and so on.

Improving education and training of teacher as a focus on reformation of educational system which is a goal that must be achieved in EFA (Education for All). As a tangible manifestation of the mandate through efforts to improve the quality of education and development of competency based on educational game tools or APE. PAUD teachers should also have the ability to design, create, utilize, maintain, and self-assess the tools for early childhood games because well-developed game tools will be more interesting than tools that were not developed first. This community service program activity is needed because the education level of PAUD teachers varies. Based on the results of the identification of the target audience, most PAUD teachers do not meet the academic qualifications and competencies properly. The ability to read, write, count, think actively and critically and the low implementation of learning models in the form of quality and fun educational teaching aids in PAUD institutions is very necessary. The expected output of this activity is the increasing, competency and quality of PAUD teachers towards educational game-based media learning programs (APE) and increasing the creativity of PAUD students by implementing APE-based learning media programs.

a b s t r a c tThis study aims to design a new system and method of application program Al-Faraidh as a medium of learning fiqih mawaris in MAN Model Banda Aceh. This research uses qualitative descriptive method, that is by collecting data through interview with fiqih teachers and literature study. The study of jurisprudence is difficult to achieve the expected competence, mawaris calculation is also still done manually. Students tend to be less interested in learning fiqih mawaris because it is considered too difficult. Therefore it is necessary to design an application program as a learning medium that facilitates and attracts students' attention. The design of the web-based application program can process the data muwaris (person who left the heirs), data of heirs along with his position against muwaris, heirs, muwaris reports, and recapitals report on the division of inheritance. The application program is expected to be an effective solution of the problem, thus simplifying the process of calculating the inheritance, especially in the process of learning.Keywords:Applications Alfaraidh, Mawaris, Media Learning a b s t r a kPenelitian ini bertujuan merancang sebuah sistem dan metode baru berupa program aplikasi Al-Faraidh sebagai media pembelajaran fiqih mawaris di MAN Model Banda Aceh. Pembelajaran fiqih mawaris sulit mencapai kompetensi yang diharapkan, perhitungan mawarisnya juga masih dilakukan secara manual. Siswa cenderung kurang tertarik mempelajari fiqih mawaris karena dianggap terlalu sulit. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah rancangan program aplikasi sebagai media pembelajaran yang memudahkan dan menarik perhatian siswa. Rancangan program aplikasi yang berbasis web tersebut dapat mengolah data muwaris (orang yang meninggalkan harta waris), data ahli waris beserta kedudukannya terhadap muwaris, harta waris, laporan muwaris, dan laporan rekap hasil pembagian harta waris. Program aplikasi tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dari permasalahan tersebut, sehingga mempermudah proses perhitungan harta waris, khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci:Aplikasi Alfaraidh, Mawaris, Media Pembelajaran

This study aimed at developing a Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game-based (MORPG) Learning system which enabled instructors to construct a game scenario and manage sharable and reusable learning content for multiple courses. It used the curriculum of “Introduction to Computer Science” as a study case to assess students' learning effectiveness on the subject of “computer network”. The sample was 56 freshman students, who were randomly assigned to two groups, one of which used the game-based learning and the other one the Web-based video lectures. Furthermore, this study also conducted the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure satisfaction, usability and learnability of the developed management system for instructors. Five instructors were invited to participate in the practical use and evaluation. The results showed that game-based learning could be exploited as effective learning environments and game design system was usable and learnable for instructors to create learning games.

The foundation for much of the technology being used in today’s classroom is the Microsoft Office suite. It is fast becoming the integrated software package of choice for many schools and school districts. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access are the staples for many students and teachers. Complimenting these capabilities, Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator are the tools of choice for accessing the World Wide Web. Why not help teachers utilize these same tools to develop text, visual, and Web-based materials for the classroom, and leave the more complex and costly packages to multimedia designers and commercial artists? The success of this philosophy has been borne out by a blistering growth in applications from K-12 classroom teachers, technology coordinators, and corporate trainers.

With the development of computer network technology, Java has a fairly extensive use of die circumference. Especially in recent years, the development of the smart phone system is also stimulated the use of the Java language. In this paper, Java server is mainly divided into two categories JSP server and Java EE servers. Java EE function which has more features than perfect JSP servers. Application server is a chief platform of Web-based application. J2EE is a standard of enterprise-scale application server. In this paper J2EE is analyzed from the point of view of software architecture and Java-based application development. Some defects of J2EE are pointed out, such as J2EE being unable to support version management and it having diverse concepts and notions due to its multi-tier architecture. Furthermore, a light weight application server—J Web Frame is developed, which overcomes some problems of J2EE.
