<p>The Objective of study is to find  the result of the learning process of Adobe Flash as media on the course of <em>Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran </em>through E-Learning system at English education study program in University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. E-learning provides a set of tools to enrich the value of conventional learning model, studies of textbooks, CD-ROMs, and computer-based training. Students can answer the challenges of globalization. Research Method used descriptive method through qualitative approach. Method of research conducted qualitative. Sample of research were forth semester students of English education study program. E learning system of UMSU provided schedule of course, attendance check, discussion forum between a lecture and students, task file, exercises file integrated Moodle and google form, module e book of <em>Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran</em>, slide file presentation, all activities viewed past, present and future time. Adobe flash media learning English implemented by virtual for one semester. The students can be active teaching English using Adobe Flash, simple material for presentation. They were enthusiastic when learn Adobe flash as media leaning English.</p>

Lecture courses in the English Language Education Study Program of STKIP Setiabudhi Rangkasbitung are still conducted in face-to-face class, so the students who do not attend lectures cannot know the pronunciation material at that time, because the Pronunciation course is a practical course in the English pronunciation system. The E-Learning Pronunciation is built so that lectures can be carried out anywhere and anytime without reducing the quality of the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the students who are left behind can continue to follow the Pronunciation course material, as well as habituating students in utilizing communication and information technology. E-Learning Pronunciation is important to be built to improve the ability of students’ pronunciation when doing distance learning, so that students are clearer and more firm in understanding Pronunciation so that there are no errors in English pronunciation. Participants in this study were first semester students of English education study programs. This study uses an experimental research design with the Prototype System development method and system of testing uses Black box testing.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the strategies applied by the learners in learning English pronunciation. This research attempts to answer the following research questions: (1) what are the strategies applied by the learners in learning English pronunciation? (2) What is the impact of the strategies applied by the learners toward their achievement in learning pronunciation? The participants of this study are 30 students who are still in the second semester in English Education Study Program, Pakuan University. The data were collected through classroom observation, questionnaire, and documentation in a form of audio recording, and in-depth interview with six representative participants. The major findings of this study are: (1) the strategies applied by the participants of this study are based on the strategies proposed by Calka (2001). From six strategies, cognitive strategy is the strategy whose the tactics mostly applied by the participants. (2) There is a good impact of pronunciation strategies toward pronunciation learning. The impacts are in a form of facilitating the process of learning and developing pronunciation ability and achievement.Keywords: EFL, Case Study, Pronunciation Learning StrategiesABSTRAKStrategi Pembelajar Bahasa Inggris dalam mempelajari Pronunciation Bahasa Inggris. Studi Kasus di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Universitas Pakuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi strategi yang diterapkan oleh pembelajar bahasa Inggris dalam mempelajari pronunciation Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk menjawab pertanyaan; (1) Apakah strategi yang diterapkan oleh pembelajar dalam memepelajari pronunciation bahasa Inggris? (2) Apakah dampak dari penerapan strategi belajar terhadap pembelajaran dan kemampuan pronunciation? Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 mahasiswa semester 2 Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Pakuan.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dalam kelas, kuesioner, dokumentasi berupa rekaman suara partisipan saat membaca kata dan kalimat, serta interview perwakilan dari partisipan. Temuan dari penelitian ini antara lain; (1) Strategi yang diterapkan oleh partisipan adalah strategi yang disusun oleh Calka (2001). Dari enam strategi, kognitif strategi adalah strategi yang taktiknya paling banyak diterapkan oleh partisipan. (2) Ada dampak yang sangat baik dari penerapan strategi pembelajaran pronunciation terhadap kemampuan pronunciation. Dampak tersebut juga terlihat dari proses pembelajaran yang menjadi lebih mudah. Learning media always develops the following technological developments. Likewise, the media in learning is listening to Indonesian. The development of learning media is important. Adobe Flash-based media developed to facilitate lecturers and students in learning Indonesian listening skills in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program. Media that are designed to be interesting may not only train cognitive knowledge but also practice practical listening skills. Adobe Flash-based media for listening are designed by displaying several menus, namely the home menu, RPS (Semester Learning Plan), materials, practices, games, music, profiles, and references, as well as close menus appearing in accordance with the cross (x) to be used using the application. The hope media developed was able to assist lecturers in delivering learning material, as well as helping students learn well in the classroom and outside the classroom.

This study was aimed to identify the informality of request as politeness strategies used by the students of English Education study Program (English department) of Unrika Batam.The data was obtained from request spoken by the student of English department students. The data taken based on cluster sampling due the homogeneous data. The data was students of morning class of semester seven. This study concluded that The usage of bu, ma, mah (means mother)  five data and yah, pak, and pa (means father or daddy), the speaker respects to the hearer’s face by addressing her as mom. This considered her position is upper position; this does not threaten her face. This is used informally to her mother in relaxed situation. The usage of imperative sentences are four data when the hearer asks her young sister  to take the glass, then the subject asks her big sister to buy her dress, when she asks her young sister to take chilly and when the subject ask the money to pay rental house. This sentences forces her face’s hearer. This shows negative face. The last is speaker states “adek” young sister to her father means to soften request to her father due to the father will usually fulfill the young child.

This study was aimed to develop humanitarian project-based material for productive written language skills subject for English Education Study Program at UNIMED. Research and Development (R&D) was the design of this study with the subjects of the study were 25 students of first semester students of English Education Study Program at UNIMED. The research procedures were adapted from Borg and Gall’s research theory (1983) namely 1)gathering data and information, 2)need analysis, 3)designing course material, 4)validating and evaluating new course material by the Experts, 5)revising the course material and 6)final product. The instruments of collecting the data were questionnaire, interview and expert judgement questionnaire. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.. Based on the result of the expert judgement, the whole aspects of developed materials were in the range of 81-100% and were categorized as “very good”.

This research aimed to find out the students’ access to ICT application and how far ICT application helps students in mastering English language skills faced by English students of English Education Study Program at the University of Bengkulu in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was an explanatory sequential mixed methods design. The population of this research was English students of English Education Study Program at the University of Bengkulu. The sample of this research was selected by using purposive sampling technique, totaling 80 students for questionnaire and 24 students for interview. The data were collected by using questionnaire and interview. The instruments were consisted of 15 items adapted from Dang Hoang Tri and Nhung Hong Thi Nguyen (2014). This research used Microsoft Excel to analyze the data.  The result of this study showed that students access 15 ICT applications in English learning. Also, researcher found that the majority of students have positive perception towards ICT application can help students in mastering English language skills.

The the purposes of this resaearch was to find out students dificulty in mastering Grammar, and to find out the suitable method in improving students’ grammar mastery. The method of this research was Action Research as the application of fact finding to practical problem solving in social situation by involving the collaboration and cooperation of researcher and practitioners. The research took place at IKIP Siliwangi, focused on class A2 year 2016. Subjects of the research was 45 students of English Education Study Program. The finding and disscussion of this research was that Problem Based Learning (PBL) jo with Puzzle media could improve students’ grmammar mastery and students of English Education Study Program could

The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the students’ Reading habit, multiple intelligences, and writing mastery, (2) to find out whether or not there was significant correlation among the students’ Reading habit, multiple intelligences, and writing mastery, and (3) to find out whether or not the students’ Reading habit and multiple intelligences contributed to their writing mastery. In this study, 76 undergraduate EFL students of English Education Study Program of Sriwijaya University in the academic year 2017/2018 were chosen as a samples by means of purposive sampling. This study applied correlational research design. The data were collected by using questionnaires and test, and were analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient and regression analysis. The results showed that (1) most of the students (50%)  were in the average level of reading habit; most of the students (15.7%) had six dominant intelligences; most of the students (57.8%) were in the good level of writing mastery; (2) reading attitude was the only habit which had a negative and significant correlation to the students’ writing mastery (r= -271, p< 0.018); reading attitude also had positive and negative and significant correlation to the students’ ideas  (r= 0.367, p< 0.001) and thesis voice audience (r= -0.236, p=< 0.040); logical intelligence was the only intelligence which had negative and significant correlation to the students’ writing mastery (r= -0.238, p= 0.038); ideas was the only the aspect of writing had a positive  and significant correlation to the students’ logical intelligence (r= 0.267, p= 0.020) and intrapersonal intelligence (r= 0.250, p= 0.029); (3) reading attitude became the best predictor and influenced the students’ writing mastery with 7.3% contribution (R2 = 0.073).
