The study aimed to assess the mainstreaming of environmental education in the Teacher Education curriculum. It used descriptive research design using qualitative approaches. Data were gathered using a rubric, documentary analysis, class observations, focus group discussion, and interview. Respondents and informants consisted of faculty-implementers, students, officials and administrative personnel. Each class in the different disciplines was observed by three class observers. The focus group discussion involved 35 students and the informal interview involved randomly selected class observers and key persons involved in the implementation of the project. Three dimensions were considered such as programmatic practices, organizational practices and context-specific practices. Assessment reveals the good practices in programmatic practices in terms of needs assessment and program design, in organizational practices in terms of governance, and context specific practices in terms of instructional materials development, delivery of the lesson, interaction with students, and assessment. Good practices serve as enabling factors for the successful mainstreaming of environmental education in the Teacher Education curriculum. Recommendations are provided to sustain the good practices and address those needing improvement.

This research aims to analyze online learning policies and the problems of obstacles of teachers, learners, and parents in learning Indonesian in the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is a case study at Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta Junior High School and literature study using secondary data collected through books, journals, websites, and other sources related to research problems. Data collection uses interview techniques and document analysis. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive techniques, consisting of data collection and subtraction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results showed that the distance learning policy implemented at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 4 Yogyakarya was in accordance with the Circular Letter (SE) of the Ministry of Education No. 4 of 2020 on the Implementation of Education Policy in the Emergency Period of The Spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). The policies implemented include policies to provide student learning experiences, provide life skills education, learning in accordance with student conditions, the process of awarding assessments, and the process of Admission of New Learners (PPDB) and School Operational Assistance (BOS). On the other hand, there are also learning obstacles for teachers, learners, and parents in Indonesian learning experienced during the diverse covid-19 pandemic. Teacher constraints are on aspects of the use of learning applications, weak internet network access, unpreparedness with online learning media, learning materials that cannot be applied optimally, and research to learners. Student constraints are on aspects of inadequate learning facilities, weak internet access, inactivity in following learning, psychological conditions of stress and boredom, many tasks, and difficulties in operating learning applications. Parental constraints are on socio-economic aspects and supervision or mentoring of children in online learning at home.

This study deals with gender toxicity in language communication. The aim of this study is to describe toxic language that is accepted by male and female in circle communication. Descriptive qualitative is used as research method of this study. This study described the result of society language communication recorder. The result, there are two kinds of toxic language, toxic muscularity and toxic femininity language that was accepted by male and female in language communication.

Language is viewed differently by people from different fields, and one of the reasons why linguists and philosophers encounter difficulties in clarifying what the study of language should involve has to do with the general view that language means many things to people from different disciplines. This paper provides a comprehensive and analytical discussion patterning to the nature of language, theories, methods, and approaches to language teaching and learning based on a literature review. In particular, the paper answers questions of what is the nature of language, what is involved in the study of a language and how does it behave? And how language can be taught effectively? To address these questions, the paper has reviewed various studies on the definition of language and the trend in trying to define language. Also, it has examined how much scholars have defined language economically, but adequately, and it has discussed the nature of language and its assumptions or theories, then it has indicated how language can be best taught. The review indicates that there are conflicting claims about the nature of language, and thus, it is difficult to define the nature of language or to tie it down to one statement, for it means many things to different people. The paper concludes that it is difficult to define the nature of language comprehensively in one statement, and the concept of language teaching is mainly influenced by the idea of the nature of language, and on how language is taught and learnt. Therefore, success in language teaching depends on the learning environment, how a teacher views what is a language or the nature of language and on the motivations of learning provided to the learners.

The study was carried out to assess public relations’ practice of Edo State University Uzairue. The study was predicated on Systems Theory (ST). The objectives were to determine the extent whether or not the Institution has a functional public relations department and to evaluate the extent of its public relations activities’ effectiveness, amongst others.  Interview schedule was used to elicit information from the public relations office headed by the public relations officer. Findings indicates, amongst others, that the University has a public relations office, but does not have public relations department, and that the extent of her public relations activities’ effectiveness is average, amongst others. Given the above and the enormity of the importance of public relations to the educational institutions, the study, thus, recommend that Edo State University Uzairue should set-up a PR department with its ancillary compliments; step-up, and also, utilise effective public relations strategies in order to achieve effectiveness in its public relations’ campaigns or activities.

Organizational culture is a believe system exists among the workers of an organization.  Through organizational culture, organizations can be distinguished from each others. It is precious to inform the organization's managers and all workers about the organizational culture. The aim of this study is to find out the presence of organizational culture in educational sector workers of Paktika province of Afghanistan. Daniel Denison's organizational culture model is used in this research. Denison's model has four main aspects (involvement, consistency, adaptability and mission), that an organization must have in order to be an effective organization. In this study, the mixed research method (Quantitative and Qualitative) is used whereas questionnaire and interview tools were used for data collection. The administrative staff of the educational sector of Paktika province (University, Directorate of Education, Directorate of Information and Culture, and Directorate of Olympic), numbering up to 120, has been selected as a statistical population for the research. The results of this research are somehow similar to the previous researches done in Afghanistan. Generally, it is seen that working activities of educational sector staff of Paktika province is influenced by organizational culture. The results of this research show that, based on Denison model of organizational culture, educational sector workers of Paktika province has 65% of effective organizational culture and the mission aspect was potent than other aspects of organizational culture.

This study deals with catharsis as a cognitive stylistic device used to expel fear and anxiety for the sake of changing the audience toward better by preachers in Husseini discourse – Hussein is a grand Shiite Muslim leader. It aims to explicate the exploitation of catharsis by Husseini preachers and the conceptualization of such phenomenon by the audience. The study adapts the emotion model developed by Kovecses (2000); five stages are utilized: cause of the emotion, emotion, control, loss of control, and behavioral response. Twenty Husseini sermons are analyzed according to the stages of the model. Consequently, the study has come up with considerable conclusions. Chief among them are: Husseini preachers pragmatically use prosodic features to convey catharsis. A further conclusion is that catharsis is utilized by Husseini preachers as a strategy to teach the audience all the objectives of the Husseini revolution and to connect the objectives to this age for the sake of reform, using the fear that can modulate the human behavior.

Karmawibhangga comes from the words karma and wibhangga. If karma can literally be interpreted as actions that come from causes and cause effects, then wibhangga is a designation for one of the holy books in Buddhism (Buddhist scripture). Literally karma can be interpreted as actions that come from causes and cause effects. In Buddhism, karma is the basic doctrine formulated and taught by Siddhartha Gautama. According to this doctrine, every living being has karma, both generated by himself and inherited from his ancestors. It is this karma that has caused samsara and is a barrier to attaining heaven or nirvana. Births in heaven and in hell seem to be at the core and there is a belief that some kind of hell is known in written sources both inscriptions and ancient manuscripts in Java. The state of life in heaven is marked by the kalpawrksa tree flanked by kinaras.

The Purpose of this academic article is to analyze the current languages of Afghanistan; in addition, the position is studied. Afghanistan has a diverse cultural heritage, which is protected by these languages; the importance of keeping it alive is very high. This research is descriptive and analytical the type of research is librarian and methodical, which is a description of the current popular languages.  In this country current languages and dialects thirty summers, each language is based on the number of speakers has its own status and position, which are called official, residual, local and national languages. These languages belong to the most popular groups in the world the famous are Aryan, Indo-Aryan and Turkish. In addition, the languages of the pro- semiotic and seraiki groups are currently in question.

In daily and informal situation, individuals use language to connect one another. This research is on taboo words used by people of Padang Bolak Language (PBL) in daily communication. This research is a qualitative descriptive where the research problem is what, how, and why taboo words appear and are used in daily conversation of PBL. The data was taken by recording technique and taking notes on the conversations of residents at the location in Poken Salasa Village, Portibi District, Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatera Province. From 45 data, the frequent taboo word is anjing (7 times), kafir (13 times), bujang/bujak/bujas (19 times), haram (3 times), and murtad (3 times). The reasons of speaker using taboo words are various. The speaker utters dog to take an oath, to trust or to make others believe. The word kafir is the speaker’s way to take an oath and to convince others. The word bujang/bujak/bujas is used only among the intimate fellowship. Speaker’s expression of haram appears when he disagrees, be opposite to something, and doesn’t expect to one condition. Then murtad is uttered by speaker when he wants to trust other, makes an oath to support his statement. The next research is expected to expose the more reasons of using taboo words in psychological perspectives.
