Da'wah is an activity to spread knowledge of Islam to all corners of the world. With the development of the times, it becomes a challenge for the da'i so that their da'wah can be enjoyed and disseminated more widely. In this digital era, visual media is the most effective tool used to spread da'wah. One of the media that is currently popular is YouTube. The ease of YouTube's popularity needs to be put to good use, such as creating and displaying educational content with Islamic elements, such as films of the religious genre. The researcher analyzed the da'wah contained in rich short films without religious genre treasures on the YouTube channel of Muslim filmmakers to find the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth in the film. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The type of research used is field research, researchers observe the object directly. The results of this study are that the meaning of denotation in this study is about the description of human life in facing various trials of life in family, neighbors and friends. The meaning of the connotations in the short film Kaya without treasure is that sincerity, gratitude and patience will make us calmer and accept what is. The meaning of the myth in the short film rich without wealth is that alms will make us more grateful for what Allah SWT has given us. The message of moral da'wah is more dominant in this film.

AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas tentang perancangan film pendek dengan judul “Bukan Hak-Ku” sebagai salah satu media yang dapat digunakan untuk pendidikan karakter pada anak. Pendidikan karakter berisi nilai-nilai moral untuk anak sangat penting untuk dikenalkan sejak usia dini. Salah satu aspek dari nilai-nilai moral dalam pendidikan karakter yaitu kejujuran. Kejujuran merupakan salah satu sifat dasar yang dimiliki manusia dan harus ditanamkan sejak kecil. Salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan pendidik untuk menanamkan nilai tersebut adalah dengan media audio visual berupa film. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan tujuan agar penelitian ini dapat mengungkapkan aspek-aspek yang harus ditekankan dalam sebuah film pendek sehingga penanaman nilai kejujuran dapat dilakukan. Film pendek adalah salah satu media pembelajaran baru bagi anak. Orang tua berperan untuk mengarahkan dan membuat anak mengerti dengan latar belakang budaya yang dekat dengan anak dan memudahkan anak untuk memahami alur cerita serta mengimplementasi cerita tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci:  film, kejujuran, keluarga, moral  AbstractThis study discusses the design of short films titled Bukan Hak-Ku as one of the media that can be used for character education. The method used in this study is a qualitative method to reveal aspects that should be emphasized in a short film so as to instill the values of honesty. Short films are one of the new learning media for children. Parents have a role to direct and make children understand the cultural background that is close to the child. Film ini dibuat sebagai media untuk memberikan pendidikan moral kepada mahasiswa. Film ‘Simbah’ berisi nilai-nilai moral untuk orang dewasa yang sangat penting untuk dikenalkan pada mahasiswa. Salah satu aspek dari nilai-nilai moral dalam film tersebut adalah keinginan yang perlu dikendalikan. Keinginan merupakan salah satu sifat dasar yang dimiliki manusia dan harus dikendalikan sejak usia muda. Salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan pendidik untuk menanamkan nilai tersebut adalah dengan media audio visual berupa film pendek. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif karena dapat mengungkapkan aspek-aspek yang harus ditekankan dalam sebuah film pendek, sehingga penanaman nilai bahwa keinginan perlu dikendalikan dapat dilakukan. Sebagai hasilnya film pendek ‘Simbah’ menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran yang menarik dan dapat mengarahkan serta membuat mahasiswa mengerti dengan latar belakang budaya. This short movie was made as a medium to provide moral education for students. 'Simbah' contains moral values for adults that are very important to introduce to students. One aspect of the moral values in the movie is the desire that needs to control. Desire is one of the primary human traits and must restrain from a young age. One strategy that educators can use to instill these values is with audio-visual media in the form of short movie. The method used in this study is qualitative because it can reveal aspects that must be emphasized in a short film so that the inculcation of the value that desires need to control can be carried out. As a result, the short movie 'Simbah' became one of the interesting learning media and could direct students to understand the cultural background. Talk about retail business can not be separated from the importance of service to consumers and good quality goods . But at the present time due to intense competition in the business world , the service and quality of goods is not enough to be able to increase revenue and attract customers loyal . This makes companies think hard to survive and stable in the business . One of them is by using a media campaign in this regard more toward print or visual media is indirectly felt the value of their effectiveness in communicating product marketing programs . PT . Times Prima Indonesia is a company engaged in the retail book with the name of the Times bookstores . Based on the analysis of the company’s problems requires additional media types supporting more varied and creatif promotion of existing ones, which will be used as a complement and a media campaign as well as to enrich the data renewal campaign design to capture the interest of consumers in which one form of the media campaign is shaped merchandise . Therefore , do Enriching ( enrich ) media campaign merchandise before it is less varied and has not formed a company image . The methodology used is the analysis, observation and design . Besides the new design has been tested with the implemented test duration for 6 months, and greatly increases the perceived contribution , this is evidenced by the chart sales increasing each month.

  In this digital era, all information and communication technology emhanched faster all the time. This issue gives a big chance on communication practice become more effective than before. Hence, to full the tight competition on digital era such as online media, the researcher wanted to investigate about applying ethic of journalist code in the online media and in journalist understanding to the ethic journalist code. The researcher used qualitative descriptive method which oriented on the field research and literature. On the other side, the qualitative research also directs into the finding of basic theory which is emphasized the process over the result. It also limits the research with the focus which has criteria on finding the trustwothiness dta. Based on the result on the research about applying ethic of journalist code in the Islamic rubrik OASE at Depok POS.com, online media in Depok POS always apply the ethic of journalist code with colaborate on that ethic such as the way which always used in the field by journalist and the ethic of journalist understanding are the specific detail and detail things which manage about how should the media worker such as journalist, editor, chief of reporter, news achor and every profession which can called a journalist can behave on ethic of journalist code. Further, ethic of journalist code is the basic of journalist thought.

New York's twin tower bombings, popularly referred to as 9/11, are regarded as a watershed period in world affairs. It happened at the cusp of the new century and its impact, since then, has been enormous, for it radically changed many aspects of human life. Both the print and the electronic media were pivotal in these changes. Besides shaping the way that communities perceive others, it also influenced the manner in which communities are dealing with one another. Since a radical Muslim group was blamed for this dastardly deed and since Muslims were implicated for this reprehensible act, the secular media expectedly placed the Muslims - in majority and minority settings - around the world under the spotlight. The media's negative portrayal and reporting about Muslims did not only contribute towards a tendentious relationship between the media and the Muslims but it also contributed towards the spread of Islamophobia. This thus caused Muslims in both majority and minority settings to adopt a skeptical view of the role of the secular media. Considering these developments, this essay's focus turns to the South African print media that reported and analyzed their reporting of this event during that period. Since it is beyond this essay's scope to look at all the country' s daily and weekly tabloids, it restricted itself to two widely circulated South African weekly newspapers, namely the Sunday Times and Mail & Guardian. It first describes and discusses their front-page reports as they captured the tragic 9/11 event, before it reflects on their editorials -columns providing one with insights into the respective editors' understanding of this event and their perceptions of Muslims nationally and globally. Being a purely textual study, it conceptualizes Islamophobia as the essay's conceptual frame.

Islamic Education as a basic capital in order to achieve happiness in human life in the world and the hereafter. Thus given the importance of Islamic Education, human beings need to get the need for this very important science as a basic provision to meet the level of happiness attainment away. Islamic Education is sourced from the Shari'a namely the Qur'an and Hadith. Because the Qur'an and the Hadith as the source of all knowledge that becomes the shari'a (rules) of Allah SWT, we are obliged to believe from the sources of shari'a that will be able and guarantee safety with human happiness. The system built by the Qur'an and the Hadith is the foundation of Islamic Education as a guarantee of Allah SWT in accordance with His pleasure. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research literature. The conclusion of this research is Islamic Education as the basis of human life, by consideration this has become a basic human need to achieve happiness both in the world and the hereafter. Islamic Education is sourced from the Shari'a namely the Qur'an and the Hadith that develops in the dynamics of human life in accordance with the atmosphere and development of the times that encourage the safety and happiness of humans for those who can support the application with the guidance of Islamic Education in accordance with sharia'.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed various aspects of human life today, especially in the world of the community economy. This requires all elements of society, especially small and medium business (UMKM) activists to adapt to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this research is general public education through e-commerce in increasing the competitiveness of UMKM during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The population in this study are small and medium enterprises. In an effort to obtain data, information and facts in the field research, the writer uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that the community needs education related to buying and selling through e-commerce, UMKM as businesses whose existence is busy in the community also have an impact.

Since March 11, 2020, COVID-19 has been declared as a global pandemic. The case of the COVID-19 has become the major topic of the media around the world because it didn’t only threaten human life, it also gave negative impacts on various sectors. Many kinds of news about COVID-19, which its context started from information about the disease until it is been associated with politics and economics, have been published every day, especially in this globalization era, where information can be instantly accessed. The news about COVID-19 became overflow, at the point, various interests lead media for not being objective. While generating the news, journalists are expected to make the news objectively as it is the most important condition in journalism. Objectivity aims at presenting the real situation of some reporting events based on fact, relevance, and neutrality, which became the main factors of objective news. At the same time, it is been known that media have the power to construct social reality depending on how they created the news. This research used quantitative content analysis and was conducted in six phases from January 30th until March 15, 2020. The purpose of this research was to explain the comparative objectivity of two main online news in Indonesia (namely, detik.com and kompas.com.) on reporting COVID-19.
