This research aimed to plan the design of the master plan through a local potential and sustainable approach in creating a master plan architecture Paksebali tourism village. The research methods used are Research and Development (R&D) method in qualitative research. The first step was carried out with a study of the Paksebali Tourism Village to find the right approach's characteristics and then develop it in the form of an architectural design of a tourist village master plan. This study's results indicate that the master plan for Paksebali Tourism Village is based on developing supporting facilities for local potentials by maintaining these potentials' sustainability, which is implemented in master plan designs both macro and micro. This sustainability is fundamental as the consistency of this potential is conservative, maintains local characteristics, and becomes a welfare source for local communities. The Paksebali Tourism Village master plan's architectural design transformation requires these considerations (local potential and sustainability).

Abstract: Article 35 of Law Number 2 of 2012 states that if there is residual land, the rightful party can request compensation in full for the leftover land that can no longer be used in accordance with the original designation and use. However, in its implementation, the implementing committee of the land acquisition still had difficulty especially for determining the criteria of the leftover land that could be compensated. Based on that issue, this study intend to (1) determining the characteristics of the leftover land that can be compensated; (2) knowing who has the right to determine the leftover land that can be compensated; (3) knowing the process of settling leftover land in land acquisition. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach to the case study method. The results of the study show that compensation that can be directly compensated for leftover land is land that has an area of less than 100m². For those who are more than 100m², the land acquisition implementation committee considers the shape of the remaining land, the leftover land area and access roads. The right to determine the leftover land is the land acquisition committee. Settlement of the leftover land carried out in Karanganyar Regency is based on a Circular from the Director General of Land Procurement.

This research was conducted to find the right model in the provincial head elections. This is based on the many deficiencies that occur when direct regional head elections are held such as multiple voter lists, logistical problems, low capacity of organizers, the emergence of SARA issues, strong money politics, bureaucratic politicization, and low participation in voting for the community (Pilkada Case Study Southeast Sulawesi 2018). This research encourages the alternative model of the governor and deputy governor election. Furthermore, if you want to be applied in Indonesia in general, more research needs to be done. First, improvements in the overall stages of governors and deputy governors' elections and the use of information technology to increase transparency, accountability, and efficiency. Second, the governor and the deputy governor's election is still carried out directly by tightening the nomination requirements. Among other things, they must participate in the regeneration of political parties, have experience and knowledge of government and local characteristics of the region, and are indigenous people who have lived long in the area. Third, the governor is still directly elected by the community, while the deputy governor can be proposed by the governor to the DPRD/MOHA from the private sector/ASN who meet special requirements, namely experience in government and knowledge of the local characteristics of the region.

While grand corruption is a major global governance challenge, researchers notably lack a systematic methodology for conducting qualitative research into its complex forms. To address this lacuna, the following article sets out and applies the corruption investigative framework (CIF), a methodology designed to generate a systematic, transferable approach for grand corruption research. Its utility will be demonstrated employing a case study that centres on an Australian-led megaproject being built in Papua New Guinea’s capital city, Port Moresby. Unlike conventional analyses of corruption in Papua New Guinea, which emphasise its local characteristics and patrimonial qualities, application of CIF uncovered new empirical layers that centre on transnational state-corporate power, the ambiguity of civil society, and the structural inequalities that marginalise resistance movements. The important theoretical consequences of the findings and underpinning methodology are explored.

This research discusses a case study of children in acquiring their first language at age 18 months old in Bukittinggi. The process deals with some stages namely cooing, babbling, holophrastic, the two-word stage, telegraphic stage, and multiword stage. The purpose of this study is focused on how the children learn the language in the real life. To find out the answer of the problem in this research, the researcher uses the related theories, they are Lyons (1981), Varshney (2003), Chomsky (2009), Bolinger (2002), Gleason (1998), Steinberg (2003), Fromkin (1983), Bolinger (2002) and Steinberg (2003). This research is conducted with descriptive qualitative research where the subject and object is taken from the children at age 18 months old in Bukittinggi. The researcher takes the observed baby named Azka as the subject and gets the data by observation and video recording. After the data had been collected, the researcher finds out that Azka was 18 months old baby who was in holophrastic functions: the one-word utterances stage of language development. Finally, parents’ role is important to develop the children language. The parents should build interaction with their child to know their child’s language development. Besides that, the researcher suggests the parents to say the right pronunciation to the children.

Architectural acoustics design has in the past been based on simple design rules. However, with a growing complexity in architectural acoustics and the emergence of room acoustic simulation programmes with considerable potential, it is now possible to subjectively analyse and evaluate acoustic properties prior to the actual construction of a building. With the right tools applied, acoustic design can become an integral part of the architectural design process. The aim of this paper is to investigate the field of application that an acoustic simulation programme can have during an architectural acoustic design process and to set up a strategy to develop future programmes. The emphasis is put on the first three out of four phases in the working process of the architect and a case study is carried out in which each phase is represented by typical results – as exemplified with reference to the design of Bagsvaerd Church by Jørn Utzon. The paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the programme in each phase compared to the works of architects not using acoustic simulation programmes. The conclusion of the paper points towards the need to apply the acoustic simulation programmes to the first phases in the architectural process and set out a reverse strategy for simulation programmes to do so – from developing acoustics from given spaces to developing spaces from given acoustics.
