Development Trends of Air Passenger Transport Services and Service Distribution Channels Alongside their core service, i.e., passenger transportation, air carriers are nowadays providing numerous extra services, which are not directly related to transport. On the one hand, airlines are enlarging the scope of paid services provided on board an aircraft by, among other ways, splitting the air ticket fee and singling out the costs of such services as catering on board, checked-in luggage, airport check-in, etc. On the other hand, airline companies tend to provide mass services to their sales partners - ground transportation, car rental, insurance, hotel booking, etc. Provision of both the core and the extra services is closely connected with computerized reservation systems and the corresponding agent and customer access networks. These systems and networks form the basis of IT channels of service distribution. The present paper analyses the indicators and development trends of air transport services in combination with the development of service distribution channels and the information technologies lying at the basis of such channels. The paper also describes the structure and IT support of distribution channels. The authors have paid attention to the potential qualitative changes in the structure and possibilities of distribution of air passenger transportation services in view of the Next Generation Network (NGN) concept whose implementation has been started in the world.

The article gives a brief analysis of the transport industry condition in the context of the provision of passenger transportation services, considers the existing problems of enterprises in the market economy conditions such as: the lack of guarantees and responsibility of suppliers to consumers, and vice versa (delays and non-payments, defaulters); forced lending to enterprises by transport companies and agencies, that means the use of banking services in the non-banking sector; the lack of developed for all types of transport domestic inventory and distribution systems based on the uniform requirements; the weakness of the existing system of control and prevention of dangerous trends, which leads to crises in the market and the chain reaction of insolvency of the participants. In this regard the article proves the justification for the creation of a unified system of control and regulation of transport services, aimed at providing control and monitoring of the conditions of the enterprises and the system as a whole, preventing dangerous trends and crises; providing mutual guarantees and protection of risks of both suppliers and consumers; creating a universal payment center; development of criteria for assessing market participants (ratings of solvency, reliability and other assessment methods). All this taken together will prevent negative consequences for transport companies. The structure of such a complex system, necessary subsystems and their functionality are considered. Specific solutions are proposed, whose implementation will allow constructing elements of a single control system on the basis of existing and operating in the industry inventory and distribution systems, as well as the mechanism of regulation and effective impact on the transport industry enterprises.

Peculiarities of transport services for the transportation of passengers, which must be taken into account when creating logistics models for organizing and managing passenger flows, are considered. Need of cost reduction of time of passengers for transport service is proved. The conclusion is drawn on need of the effective transport system creation, for the purpose of observance of intervals of the movement of buses on routes. The possibility of use of architectural approximations classes for the solution of transport logistics problems is analysed. The methods used for solving transport problems where the most widespread is modeling and algorithmization of the determined task formulation strategy with use of a classical algorithm of mathematical programming are considered. The prospects of a meta-heuristic method use is a genetic algorithm for the solution of tasks of the control of city passenger transport adapted to objective conditions are proved. The main features of genetic algorithms consisting in an opportunity by optimization to use criterion function and to consider the necessary number of restrictions are defined. The structure of a chromosome which represents the coded option of the movement of the bus in real time depending on a road situation is received.

One of the key problems when ensuring the quality of life of residents of large cities of the world is to raise the transport services standards. Among the main aspects of solving this problem is the search for the optimal distribution of flows of personal and ground public municipal passenger transport. In this regard the planning, design, and localization of multifunctional transport interchange hubs (hereinafter – TIH) take on great significance. The experience of their arrangement has received wide acceptance in many countries of the world. In recent years Moscow has also been actively working on the design and construction of TIH; large-scale projects of transport infrastructure facilities construction are being developed. The TIH system should be capable of flexible response to changing transport needs of the population and to their realistic transformation to effectively ensure transport mobility of the population. The objective of the study is to test the passenger flow analysis methods and their application for simulation of the organization and planning of the transport interchange hub in a large district of the city, planning of the route network of municipal passenger transport. The route network of suburban and intercity transport of Northern Administrative District of Moscow has been reviewed. The passenger traffic within the TIHs Rechnoy vokzal and Khovrino has been analyzed.Based on the study, the authors propose to change the route network of ground urban passenger transport. The implementation of route network changing proposals can shorten the time spent on passenger travel and transfer. It is the authors’ opinion that the developed route network is more effective than the existing one and meets the design standards and requirements approved by local city regulations.

The relevance of the problem is due to the lack of a method and indicators for assessing the level of transport mobility of cities. The purpose of the article is to develop a method for assessing the level of transport mobility. Currently, there are no science - based criteria for assessing the level of mobility in terms of the convenience of passengers using various types of public transport for travel. The use of the transport mobility index will contribute not only to improving the quality of passenger transport, but also to improving the level of transport services in General. The developed method for assessing the level of transport mobility will allow you to study the dynamics of changes in indicators and plan measures to improve the quality of transport services. The implementation of the proposed method will allow analyzing routes, as well as planning measures to increase the level of transport mobility and the attractiveness of public transport for passenger transportation.

The rapid significant increase in the quality of the process of passenger transportation by Kyiv public transport can be a powerful motivation to increase the frequency of its use. However, the parameters of the desired change in the quality of urban transport remain unknown, which leads to its chaotic management. Two trends in urban passenger traffic quality research are common. The first approach deals with measuring the operating parameters of the transport system, and the second one focuses on the research of customers' opinions regarding transport services. However, none of the scientists focuses fully on the specific human behavioral responses to the quality of the city's passenger transportation service, when urban transport is opposed to a private car. Because of this, the assessment of the quality of urban passenger transport requires the development of special tools. It is already clear today that not all traditional approaches used in studies of transport behavior that depend on the quality structure may be suitable for this.

Transport route specification models are used to analyse the need for combined passenger transportation on popular routes in a large urban agglomeration. The problem of managing the travel chains of passengers using public transport (PT) is revealed with the focus on the complexity of applying the principle of multimodality on the route network used by population due to the mismatch of the schemes of transport and users’ routes. The study of the logistics of passenger transportation with PT introduces the concept of «public transport user (PTU)» which has a variable status relative to the flows of people, pedestrians, passengers, and transport vehicles. The description of the registers of the main parameters of the routes under study serves to create their digital twins. To manage the travel chains of PTUs, identify related sections of transport routes, it is proposed to highlight within the passenger flow the currents of the same profile which include PTUs that have common transport behaviour.Models and algorithms of network proximity to transport infrastructure objects, visualisation of digital traces of PTUs and the results of comparing the used and the best route options according to the modelled parameters allow to identify behavioural profiles of PTUs, as well as regulators managing the travel chains.

The paper presents the results of research in tourism as one of the most important factors in the public passenger transport demand. The research has been carried out for the requirements of creating a Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) for the Republic of Croatia for 2016. Traffic and tourism, as strategic economic activities of the Republic of Croatia, have the characteristics of complex and dynamic systems, mutually conditioned by the guidelines of the demand and supply chain of tourist product values. Therefore, the paper is oriented towards the analysis of the significance of tourism for public road passenger transport in the Republic of Croatia. During 2016, road intercity passenger transport carried 50.4 million passengers, out of which 98 percent in domestic and 2 percent in international transport. Passenger road transportation is marked by mild seasonal oscillations, with the summer period marked by the lowest level of demand, and the period from January to March by the largest number of passengers. The provision of public road transportation services in 2016 realised a revenue of 1.8 billion kuna for 433 business subjects registered in this activity. The trends indicate an increase in the number of travelled kilometres by buses with passengers.
