The purpose of this study is to evaluate the outcome of brand equity on consumer responses by specifically investigating the effects of the overall brand equity on consumer willingness to pay premium price. The paper also empirically investigated the causal relationship among brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty as antecedents of brand equity. Using the automobile product category in Malaysia as stimuli, cross-sectional survey data were collected and analyzed using partial least square structural equation modeling technique. Result showed that brand equity plays a significant role in firms by creating and developing additional value to organizations and their products. A causal relationship among the antecedents of brand equity was also established. Among the antecedents of brand equity, brand loyalty was found to be the dominant driver of overall brand equity. Moreover, the effect of brand equity on consumers’ willingness to pay price premium was substantiated and found to be positive. The limitation of the paper is that the study used a single high involving product category. Future studies should use product categories with short consumption length and high purchase frequency. Findings of this study provide more insight to managers on how to manage brand equity. Outcomes of brand equity can be used to measure the performance of brand in the market. The study also provides additional clarification to the existing literature on the need for managers to develop a post-brand equity marketing strategy in order to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.

BUMDes is one of the income sources for the village managing assets, services, and other businesses for the village community's welfare. BUMDes empowers rural communities as an autonomous region in increasing productive efforts to alleviate poverty and unemployment. Therefore, the measurement of BUMDes's performance needs to be done through the level of local resources used and the implications of the results achieved. It was required to formulate appropriate development policies so that BUMDes have high competitiveness and fulfill their role in increasing the community's economic independence. This study was conducted in East Java BUMDes because East Java province is the third province with the largest number of BUMDes in Indonesia, so it was quite representative to represent the presence of BUMDes in Indonesia. This research used a quantitative approach carried out using the structural equation modeling-partial least square (SEM-PLS) method with the Resource-based View (RBV) approach to measure the effect of BUMDes resources used on its competitiveness. The analysis showed that structural capital had a positive effect on human capital and relational capital. Human capital had also been proven to have a positive effect on relational capital. The indicator that influenced competitive advantage was human capital. Training is needed to increase the human resources capacity, online marketing training and organizational reform, infrastructure, and professional management systems need to be done.

The purpose of this research is to better understand the impact of supply chain management (SCM) and flexibility on firm performance, as well as the role of competitive advantage in mediating the model in Indonesian agriculture companies. Companies must apply supply chain management and supply chain flexibility (SCF) to boost industrial competitiveness, which impacts firm performance. To ensure that supply chain management supports the company's strategy, companies must evaluate supply chain concerns. From the literature search, researchers have not found any published studies or articles on SCM and SCF in their influence on firm performance through competitive advantage, specifically for corn companies in Indonesia. The population in this study includes agriculture companies in Indonesia. Sampling was carried out using probability sampling technique, the total population of 200 obtained a sample size of 133.333 which can be rounded up to 134 research samples. The inferential statistical method used in the data analysis of this study was the Partial Least Square Version 3 program. The study found that SCM influenced firm performance and SCF had a direct influence on firm performance. However, competitive advantage variable failed in being a mediator in SCM and SCF on firm performance.

This study investigates the relationship between brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, brand loyalty and brand purchasing intention. A total of 99 students from Budi Luhur University was used as respondents in this study based on the convenience sampling method. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and SmartPLS 3.0 software. The analysis specifies that there is a significant positive relationship among brand awareness, brand association and perceived quality towards brand loyalty and brand purchasing intention. However, there is not a significant relationship between brand loyalty and brand purchasing intention. It indicates that consumers who are satisfied with Richeese Factory products and services do not always end up making purchases. The ability of managers to understand the factors which shape consumer brand behavior is required to develop and to maintain their brand position in high competitive fast food brand competition.
