The problem of psychological well-being of the same employees in professional, economic (material) and other spheres of life is considered. The relevance of the study is determined by the lack of knowledge of this problem in Russian psychology. The aim of the study was to identify the relationships between indicators of psychological well-being of employees, their subjective professional and economic well-being. An empirical study of the relationship between the indicators of psychological well-being of the individual, professional and economic well-being of employees of the Tax Service of Russia (260 people) was conducted. In accordance with the requirements of the model, the article describes the activities of a judoka, the requirements of judo, as a type of activity, the resources that this sport has for a person, the personal qualities of judokas that determine the emergence of resource structures. Abstract The research on small business owners’ (SBOs’) retirement process has been very limited in the literature. In this commentary, we first outline SBOs’ 4 specific retirement decision options, including family succession, retire from management while maintaining ownership, independent sale, and liquidation. We then examine their unique multilevel antecedents that may shape SBOs’ retirement decisions at the individual (e.g., psychological ownership), relational (e.g., business-related family conflict and potential successor), and business (e.g., presence of business partners and business financial value) levels. Next, we explain how SBOs’ specific retirement decisions may shape their retirement adjustment in terms of both psychological and financial well-being. The overall purpose of this article is to provide a conceptual model of SBOs’ unique retirement decisions to support the understanding of SBO’s retirement process and help the literature move forward on this topic.

Up to now, the focus in comparative international entrepreneurship has been on individual-level indicators of entrepreneurial activity, such as nascent entrepreneurship and small business ownership. However, measuring only the individual component of entrepreneurship appears conceptually incomplete, as it leaves out other important ones, the most obvious being the organizational component. Countries may have different entrepreneurship profiles, depending on the allocation of entrepreneurial endeavors across various levels and dimensions. To augment the content validity of current measurements, this paper aims to integrate and compare individual and organizational indicators of entrepreneurial activity in 22 member countries of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The inclusion of corporate entrepreneurship indicators, derived from the entrepreneurial orientation concept, modified substantially the country rankings based only on small business ownership rates. A significant negative relationship was found between individual and corporate indicators.

The main goal of this research is to examine the motivation of entrepreneurs from Moscow and the Moscow region in conducting entrepreneurial activity in present economic conditions, and to identify the obstacles slowing down this activity. For implementing this goal a survey of 63 small business owners was conducted. To collect the data, authors selected the ME (micro-enterprise), the SB (small business) and the SME (small and medium-sized enterprise). The actors questioned were entrepreneurs and more particularly the heads of companies running an ME, SB or SME in Moscow and its regions. Using research methods as factor analysis and Cronbach’s Alpha, a hierarchy of the different motives and entrepreneurial barriers were constructed. Investigation results show that regarding motivations of entrepreneurs, 4 components were obtained: extrinsic motivations composed of 4 items, intrinsic motivations composed of 6 items, motivations linked to independence and autonomy with 3 items and motivations related to the safety and well-being of the family with 3 items. In terms of barriers or obstacles encountered by Russian entrepreneurs, in regards with the literature review, we obtained 5 components: barriers of legitimacy consisting of 3 items, administrative barriers with 3 items, financial barriers with 2 items, managerial barriers with 3 items and finally competitive barriers with 3 items.
