This study aims to determine the relationship between prior knowledge with creative thinking ability of students in grade XI science at public school of Takalar. This research is ex post facto. The population in this research is was all students in grade XI science at public school of Takalar consisting of 39 classes with a total enrollment in 1537 people. Technique collecting sample using stratified purposive random sampling and selected grade XI Science SMAN 1 Takalar, SMAN 3 Takalar, SMAN 1 Polongbangkeng Selatan, and SMAN 3 Polongbangkeng Utara consist of 134 learners. The data was collected by using prior knowledge test consist of 16 items (α = 0.883) and verbal creativity test consist of 18 items (α = 0.808). Data were analyzed using correlation and regression analysis, The coefficient correlation between the two variables is 0.619 with p = 0.000 (p <0.05). This value indicates that there is a relationship between prior knowledge with creative thinking ability in chemistry and relationship between the two variables is a positive relationship.

This study aimed to determine the correlation between level of creative thinking ability with social knowledge competency of students of grade V in elementary school Gugus Kapten Kompyang Sujana in the lesson year 2017/2018. The type of this research was ex post facto. The method used in this research is descriptive method with correlation study type. Research populations were all students grade 5 in elementary school Gugus Kapten Kompyang Sujana academic period 2017/2018 which has population over 637 students. Sample was determined by proportional technique random sampling with the level of error 5% and the number of sample gained from the populations were 227 students. The data were obtained through the results of a creative thinking essay test which was answered by the respondents. The statistical analysis used in this research is hypothesis test using triserial correlation analysis. Based on the result of analysis then rptscount = 1,005. At a level of signification 5% with n = 227, then obtained rtable= 1,960. Because rcount= 1,005 >rtable= 1,960 it means that H0 that said there is no significant correlation between level of creative thinking ability with social knowledge competency of students of grade V in elementary school Gugus Kapten Kompyang Sujana in the lesson year 2017/2018 was accepted. The conclusion was there is no correlation between level of creative thinking ability with social knowledge competency of students of grade V elementary school Gugus Kapten Kompyang Sujana in the lesson year 2017/2018. Suggested to other researchers for the results of this study can be used as a reference to carry out further research using the test is a creative thinking essay test. Keywords: level of creative thinking ability, social knowledge competency, students of grade V elementary school.

This research to find out in depth about the relationship of self confidence to the ability to think creatively mathematically MTs students. The population in this research is MTs in Cimahi City. Instrument in this research in the form of description of ability of mathematical  creative thinking as much as 5 item, and self confidence questionnaire of student. Methods in this research using correlational research  methods. The result of this research shows that there is a correlation (r) value on Person Corellation between self confidence with students’ mathematical creative thinking ability is 0,597**. Form these results show the level of relationships that are classified and indicate the direction of a positive relationship.

Problem Posing approach is necessary for teacher training students. Problem Posing can train students to create questions/problems and their solutions. Make problem then solve it is part of student’s creative thinking ability. Differential equations problem is one of the materials that learned in mathematics education courses. Every teacher training student of mathematics has diverse skills. This diversity certainly brings various creative thinking skills as well. The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of student’s creative thinking in mathematical education courses, differential equation problem posing. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Sources of data in this study are the students of mathematics education consist of one student of each with high, medium, and low begining math ability. The data collection was conducted by using observation, testing, and interviews. Technique authenticity of data using a triangulation method. Data analysis technique done in stages, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. The result of this study were (1) Students with high initial capability not have fluency and flexibility of thought, but it shows the novelty think that qualifies as a Creative Thinking Ability Level (CTAL) 2 is creative enough, (2) Students with prior knowledge currently have the fluency of thought, but do not have the flexibility and novelty think that qualifies as a Level capabilities creative thinking (CTAL) 1 is less creative, (3) Students with prior knowledge low yet has grace, eloquence, and the novelty of thought that goes into the criteria of creative thinking ability Level (CTAL) 0 is not creative.

The subjects were the principals, teachers of physics from SMAN 6 Yogyakrata and 30 grade XI students. observations, interviews, and questionnaires were used as data collection techniques. The data analysis method used was the quantitative-qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the creative thinking ability of class XI MIA 1 students at SMAN 6 Yogyakarta can be said to be in the average and quite good category, although there are some students whose level of creative thinking ability is low. In addition, the form of assessment used by physics teachers has not been effective and accurate enough in assessing students 'creative thinking abilities. So it is recommended to use The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT) in physics learning because it has been proven to be accurate in assessing students' creative thinking abilities.
