Solving the problem of unsustainable production of oil, the main natural resource over the world is sufficiently important and urgent task. Excessive watering of crude oil is one of the main problems that has been faced the oil industry. The most wide world methods used for increasing oil recovery were physical and chemical methods. The use of polymeric reactants can successfully reduce water cut and increase the oil recovery factor. Developing reactants based on nano-particles is an important direction of improving polymeric materials to increase oil recovery.

The article discusses ways to increase the oil recovery factor in already developed fields, special attention is paid to the methods of enhanced oil recovery. The comparative structure of oil production in Russia in the medium term is given. The experience of oil and gas companies in the application of enhanced oil recovery in the fields is analyzed and the dynamics of the growth in the use of various enhanced oil recovery in Russia is estimated. With an increase in the number of operations in the fields, the requirements for the selection of candidates inevitably increase, therefore, the work focuses on hydrodynamic modeling of physical and chemical modeling, highlights the features and disadvantages of existing simulators. The main dependences for adequate modeling during polymer flooding are given. The calculation with different concentration of polymer solution is presented, which significantly affects the water cut and further reduction of operating costs for the preparation of the produced fluid. The possibility of creating a specialized hydrodynamic simulator for low-volume chemical enhanced oil recovery is considered, since mainly simulators are applicable for chemical waterflooding and the impact is on the formation as a whole.

The efficiency of different physical and chemical technologies used in various areas and Romashkinskoye New-Elkhovskoye oil fields was researched. The result was a conclusion that at high water-cut objects, restriction of movement of water in highly permeable leached zones of a productive layer is one of the main conditions for increasing the efficiency of not only flooding, but also the use of physical and chemical methods based on improving of oil extraction factor.

With the search for petroleum deposits in the world pushing farther offshore each year, the oil industry has answered the call with the development of dynamically positioned drill ships, hole re-entry techniques, and subsea completions. These developments are helping make deep water oil recovery a reality. Now, more than ever, there is a need for accurate, long-range radiopositioning systems so that deep water surveys and well locations can be conducted with the required accuracy.Radiopositioning systems of the past decade include land-based systems such as Shoran, Raydist, Decca and Toran and the self- contained Satellite and Integrated systems. Recent developments for work in deeper water further offshore include Loran-C in the Range-Range mode and Differential Omega.

Currently, most of the oil fields in the West Siberian oil and gas province are in the final stage of development. There is water-cut in production, a decrease in oil production, and the structure of residual reserves deteriorates. The search and application of the most successful scientific methods and technologies for improving oil recovery in the development of fields is quite an urgent task.It should be taken into account that hydrophobic reservoirs are common in the oil fields of Western Siberia, and when applying the method of reservoir flooding, this fact should be taken into account and a more detailed approach should be taken to the study of capillary forces to prevent flooding of productive objects. Despite the good knowledge of the West Siberian megabasin, some fundamental issues of its structure and oil and gas potential remain debatable. The article proposes methods for improving oil recovery of the BS10 formation of the Ust-Balykskoye oil field based on the study of capillary pressures in productive reservoir formations, and provides recommendations for the placement of injection wells. The study of the capillary properties of reservoir rocks will significantly improve the efficiency of exploration and field operations in oil fields.

Electromagnetic impact on oil reservoir manifests itself in various physical and chemical phenomena and attracts a significant scientific and technological interest. Microwave (MW) radiation heating can be more efficient for the oil recovery than heat transfer by convection or by thermal conduction. MW influence can also lead to significant changes in the physicochemical and rheological properties of oil caused by chemical processes of transformation of the oil high-molecular components such as resins and asphaltenes. The efficiency of transition-metal catalysts applied for the in-situ conversion of hydrocarbons directly in the reservoir might be significantly increased by exposing the oil formation to MW radiation. Actually, transition metals nanoparticles and their oxides are considered as active absorbers of MW radiation and; therefore, they can be used to intensify MW impact on the reservoir. Catalyst particles dispersed in the formation provide enhanced MW sweep. Taken together, the functioning of the catalysts and the effect of microwave radiation provide deep conversion of resins and asphaltenes, a decrease in the viscosity of the produced oil and an increase in oil recovery factor, along with a decrease in water cut of the well production. The present review analyzes the latest works on the combined application of microwave exposure and dispersed catalysts. In addition, this review discusses the prospects and perspectives of practical application of electromagnetic heating to enhance heavy oil recovery in the presence of nanoparticles.

The essence of the hydraulic fracturing method for enhancing oil recovery is described. The definition of proppants is given and their average chemical composition is determined. In the process of an analytical review, the article presents proppants that are widely used in the oil industry. For each type of proppant, the main technical characteristics (bulk density and compressive strength) required when using the hydraulic fracturing method have been determined. In the course of the analysis, it was found that all proppant technologies are expensive and it is necessary to select high-quality cheap and affordable materials to reduce the cost of their production. Drilling cuttings from the Morozovskoye field were chosen as one of these materials. Physical and chemical studies of drill cuttings were carried out, on the basis of which a conclusion was made about the possibility of its use in the synthesis of high-quality aluminosilicate proppants.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the phenomenon known as “anglicism”: a loan made to the English language by another language. Anglicism arose either from the adoption of an English word as a result of a translation defect despite the existence of an equivalent term in the language of the speaker, or from a wrong translation, as a word-by-word translation. Said phenomenon is very common nowadays and most languages of the world including making use of some linguistic concepts such as anglicism, neologism, syntax, morphology etc, this article addresses various aspects related to Anglicisms in French through a bibliographic study: the definition of Anglicism, the origin of Anglicisms in French and the current situation, the areas most affected by Anglicism, the different categories of Anglicism, the difference between French Anglicism in France and French-speaking Canada, the attitude of French-speaking society towards to the Anglicisms and their efforts to stop this phenomenon. The study shows that the areas affected are, among others, trade, travel, parliamentary and judicial institutions, sports, rail, industrial production and most recently film, industrial production, sport, oil industry, information technology, science and technology.
