Hubungan Kadar Estradiol dengan Indeks Massa Tubuh pada Akseptor Depot Medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA)

Post print: Depot Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA) merupakan kontrasepsi hormonal yang mempunyai efektifitas tinggi. Mekanisme DMPA sebagai alat kontrasepsi yakni dengan menghambat perkembangan folikel dan mencegah terjadinya ovulasi.Salah satu efek yang sering terjadi adalah peningkatan berat badan.Studi terdahulu menunjukkan DMPA berhubungan dengan peningkatan berat badan pada hampir banyak wanita.Peningkatan berat badan pada akseptor DMPA terjadi akibat bertambahnya massa lemak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar estradiol dengan indeks massa tubuh pada akseptor DMPA.Desain penelitian adalah Cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah wanita usia suburdi Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Lubuk Begalung dan Andalas Padang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 45 orang akseptor DMPA yang dipilih secara consecutive sampling. Analisa data menggunakan analisis diskriminan. kadar estradiol 56,4±19,3 pg/mL cenderung memiliki nilai IMT normal. Rerata± SD kadar estradiol 73,3±47,8 pg/mL cenderung overweight.Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara kadar estradiol dengan indeks massa tubuh.

<p><em>Injection contraception is one of the popular contraceptive methods, widely used by KB acceptors (40,88%). Second place is pill contraception (28,48%). </em><em>Depo Medroxyprogesteron Acetate (DMPA) is</em><em> one of the injectable contraceptives that is widely used kb acceptor.</em> <em>DMPA has several side effects include changes in serum lipid metabolism in the long-term use</em>. <em>This study aims to </em><em>the effect of the duration of the use </em><em>depo medroxyprogesterone acetate </em><em>on the levels of LDL and HDL</em><em>.</em> <em>The study was conducted in Lubuk Buaya Public Health and Laboratory of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Andalas Padang in September 2016 to January 2017. Type of study was observational using cross sectional design. Samples numbered 32 people, consisting of two groups of depo medroxyprogesterone acetate acceptor &gt; 3 years, depo medroxyprogesterone acetate acceptors &lt; 3 years.</em> <em>This samples was taken using consecutive sampling technique</em><em>.</em> <em>Blood was collected from the subject of research by intravenous and measured by</em><em> </em><em>Colorimetric Enzymatic Method (CHOD-PAP)</em><em> </em><em>for</em><em> </em><em>LDL and HDL.</em><em> </em><em>The average LDL in two groups study was 93.29 ± 22.83 mg/dl, 90.51 ± 18.22 mg/dl. The average HDL in the two groups study was 70,04 ± 16,4 mg/dl, 65,98 ± 9,7 mg/dl.</em><em></em></p>

Objective: The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of depot medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA) on the levels of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), progesterone, estradiol, and calcium.Methods: This was a cross-sectional study, this study was conducted in the region of Lubuk Buaya Health Care and Andalas Health Care on September– November 2017. Examination of FSH, progesterone, and estradiol levels was performed in the Laboratory Biomedicine, Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University by ELISA method, and the examination of calcium level was performed in Laboratory Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University by calcium Arsenazo method. Then, the data were analyzed by Kolmogorov–Smirnov and independent t-test.Results: This study showed that there was a significant difference of FSH, progesterone, estradiol, and calcium levels on KB DMPA acceptors and non-acceptors with p<0.05.Conclusion: The use of contraception DMPA has the effect on the levels of FSH, progesterone, estradiol, and calcium in the blood.

Kontrasepsi suntik merupakan salah satu kontrasepsi hormonal yang masih menjadi pilihan akseptor dalam mengatur kehamilan. Namun demikian, penggunaan kontrasepsi suntik Depot Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA) diketahui dapat meningkatkan berat badan selama pemakaian enam (6) bulan atau lebih. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan DMPA terhadap kenaikan berat badan akseptor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan rancangan penelitian potong lintang (cross sectional) yang bersifat analitik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh akseptor baru suntik DMPA di Puskesmas Perumnas II Pontianak pada bulan Januari 2018 hingga Maret 2019. Variabel dari penelitian ialah usia, pekerjaan, paritas, dan kenaikan berat badan. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis paired t-test. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan ialah purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi sebanyak 81 akseptor. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa sebagian besar akseptor berusia 20-35 tahun (71,6%), bekerja sebagai ibu rumah tangga (97,5%), mempunyai 2 anak atau lebih (77,8%), dan memiliki kenaikan berat badan 0-2 kg (44,4%). Berdasarkan hasil analisis paired t-test bahwa penggunaan suntik KB 3 bulan (DMPA) memiliki pengaruh terhadap kenaikan berat badan akseptor dengan nilai p=0,001. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan DMPA terhadap kenaikan berat badan akseptor. Injectable contraception is a hormonal contraceptive used by acceptors in regulating pregnancy. However, the use of Depot Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA) is known to increase body weight after six months of use or more.. The purpose of this study was to analysis the effect of using DMPA on weight gain. This study was an observational study with cross sectional analytic study design. The population in this study were all new acceptors who used DMPA at the Perumnas II Pontianak Public Health Care in January 2018 to March 2019. Variables from the study were age, occupation, parity, and weight gain. Analysis was performed using paired t-test analysis. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, where the number samples that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were 81 acceptors. The results showed that most of the acceptors were aged 20-35 years (71,6%), work as housewives (97,5%), had 2 or more children (77,8%), and gained weight 0-2  kg (44,4%). Based on the results of paired t-test analysis, the use of DMPA has an effect on the acceptor’s weight gain with a value of p = 0.001. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of the use of DMPA on acceptor weight gain.Keywords: Acceptors, DMPA, weigt gain

Objective: Cervical cancer is the second most prevalent cancer inwomen around the world and the most common cancer in womencausing death. This study aims to analyze the connection betweeninfection of human papilloma virus (HPV) 16/18 and cervicalchanges in the acceptors of Depot Medroxyprogesterone Acetate(DMPA) Contraceptions and nonacceptors of Depot MedroxyprogesteroneAcetate (DMPA) Contraceptions.Methods: The research was conducted at the Public ServiceInstitution of Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo hospital, and privatemidwife clinics for seven months from December 2015 to June 2016.The research design is cross-sectional with. The samples were fortyacceptors of Depot Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA) and fortynon-acceptors of Depot Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA)contraception. Prevalence of HPV 16/18 and cervical cytologychanges were examine using the polymerase chain reaction andliquid base cervical cytology.Results: The results showed there was no significant relationshipbetween long-term use of DMPA contraceptives with HPV 16 and 18.There was no significant relationship between long-term use ofDMPA contraceptives with cervical cytology changes. There was nosignificant relationship between HPV 16 and 18 infections with theoccurrence of cervical cytology changes in long-term use of DMPAcontraceptives.Conclusion: The long-term use of DMPA contraceptive does notincrease the risk of HPV 16 and 18 infections. Depo Medroxyprogesteron Acetate (DMPA) merupakan turunan dari progesteron, berbentuk suspensi cair yang diberikan secara intramuskular setiap 12 minggu area bokong. DMPA memiliki beberapa efek samping diantaranya perubahan metabolisme lipid serum pada penggunaan jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh lama penggunaan depo medroxyprogesterone acetate terhadap kadar kolesterol total dan trigliserida. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Lubuk Buaya dan Laboratorium Biokimia Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Andalas Padang. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel dikelompokkan menjadi dua, akseptor menggunakan DMPA kurang dan lebih dari 3 tahun. Enam belas responden diambil untuk setiap kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Pengambilan darah responden dilakukan secara intravena dan diukur dengan Metode Enzimatis Kolorimetri (CHOD-PAP) untuk mengetahui kolesterol total dan trigliserida (GPO-PAP). Kolesterol total rata-rata akseptor kurang dari tiga tahun adalah 185,46 ± 16,76 mg / dl dan yang lebih dari tiga tahun adalah 196,23 ± 35,55 mg / dl. Rata-rata trigliserida akseptor kurang dari tiga tahun adalah144,85 ± 23,82 yang lebih dari tiga tahun164,46 ± 34,54 mg / dl. Kadar kolesterol total dan trigliserida kedua kelompok tidak berbeda nyata
