This research aims to determine the correlation between learning motivation and student achievement on biology subjects at Class VII SMP Negeri 21 Rendani Manokwari Regency. The research method used ex-post facto. The sample in this research were all students of Class VII of SMP Negeri 21 Rendani which amounted to 70 students, with the number of male 26 students and female 44 students. Data were obtained through a questionnaire of learning motivation and documentation of student achievement. Test the validity of questionnaire using product moment correlation and reliability test using alpha formula. Data analysis used simple regression analysis. The results showed there are correlation learning motivation and student achievement and the contribution of learning motivation to student achievement of 25.9%.

Penelitin ini bertujuan untuk menganlisis apakah kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa melalui motivasi belajar siswa secara langsung maupun tidak langsung kelas X pada mata pelajaran produktif Administrasi Perkantoran SMK di Kota Cimahi. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey dengan teknik penyebaran angket kepada 94 responden dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi kompetensi kepribadian guru maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar siswa. Motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, sehingga dapat disimpulkan semakin tinggi motivasi belajar siswa maka semakin tinggi pula prestasi belajar siswa. Kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap prestasi belajar siswa melalui motivasi belajar siswa, sehingga dapat disimpulkan semakin tinggi kompetensi kepribadian guru melalui motivasi belajar siswa maka semakin tinggi prestasi belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: kompetensi kepribadian guru, motivasi belajar, prestasi belajar AN ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF PERSONAL COMPETENCE OF TEACHERS WITH MOTIVATION TO LEARN AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE ON ACHIEVEMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE STUDENT GRADE XThis study aimed to analyze the influence of teacher’s personality competence has positive and significant impact toward student achievement through students’ learning motivation directly or indirectly on the subject of class X of Office Administration productive SMK in Cimahi. The research method used survey methods by distributing questionnaires to 94 students as respondents in grade X of Office Administration and data analyzed by simple regression analysis. The results showed that the of the teacher's personality competence has positive and significant impact on student motivation, so it can be concluded that the higher of the teacher's personality competence, the higher the students' learning motivation. Students’ learning motivation has positive effect on student achievement, so it can be concluded the higher the students' learning motivation, the higher the student achievement. The teacher's personality competence has positive and significant impact on student achievement through students’ learning motivation, so it can be concluded the higher the of the teacher's personality competence through the students' learning motivation, the higher of student achievement.Keywords: teacher's personality competence, learning motivation, academic achievement

Aims: To determine gender and faculty of study as predictor of undergraduate students’ academic achievement in tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Study Design:  Ex-post facto research design. Methodology: The sample for the study was 632 100 level students selected using simple random sampling technique of balloting without replacement. These students were selected from tertiary institutions sampled for the study. The data collected were pre-existing results of 100 level students on General mathematics retrieved from the respective departments sampled earlier. Data collected was analyzed using simple regression analysis.    Results: The results of this study revealed that gender of undergraduate students had R2 change of 0.004. This indicates that gender had the predictive power of 0.40 percent for undergraduates’ achievement in General Mathematics. Also, at 1df numerator, 631 df denominator and P=.05, the calculated F value 2.54 is less than the critical F value of 3.84. Therefore, gender of undergraduates in tertiary institutions is not a significant predictor of their achievements in General Mathematics. On the other hand, the results showed that undergraduate students had R2 change of 0.009. This indicates that faculty of study had the predictive power of 0.90 percent for undergraduates academic achievement in General Mathematics. Also, at 1df numerator, 631df denominator and P = .05, the calculated F value 6.78 is greater than the critical F value of 3.84. Therefore, students’ faculty of study in tertiary institutions is a significant predictor of their achievements in General Mathematics. Conclusion: Based on the analysis carried out, it was concluded that gender of undergraduates in tertiary institutions is not a significant predictor of their achievement in General Mathematics. On the contrary, students’ faculty of study in tertiary institutions was found to be a significant predictor of their achievements in General Mathematics.

<p><span>The purpose of this research are to determine the influence between (1) achievement subject package of expertise (C3) toward student’ achievement of industrial working practice (2) learning motivation toward student’ achievement of industrial working practice multimedia (3) industrial guidance toward student’ achievement of industrial working practice (4) the achievement subject package of expertise (C3), learning motivation, industrial guidance toward student’ achievement of industrial working practice. The population was a multimedia student of class XII at State Vocational High School 3 Surakarta. The research was using quantitative approach ex-post facto methods.  Data were collected by questionnaire methods and documentation. Those data were analyzed with multiple regression. The result of this research have shown that: First, the achievement subject package of expertise (C3) variable positively and significantly influence toward student’ achievement of industrial working practice. Second, learning motivation variable positively and significantly influence toward student’ achievement of industrial working practice. Third, industrial guidance </span>variable positively<span> and significantly influences toward student’ achievement of industrial working practice. Fourth,  the achievement subject package of expertise (C3), learning motivation, and industrial guidance found to have significant (Fcalculation=10,735&gt; Ftable= 2,77) and positive (rx1x2x3y=0,654; R2=0,428) toward student’ achievement of industrial working practice. This research is conducted to obtain (1) the influence of discipline learning to student achievement, (2) the influence of students confidence to the student achievement, (3) the influence of discipline learning and students confidence collectively to the student achievement.This research is ex post facto research. The population in this reseach is IPS students at 11th  grade of MAN in Padang with the amount is 352 students. The total of samples are determined by using Slovin formula and proportional random sampling. From this pattern, it is obtained 187 students as the samples of the reseacrh. The techniques of collecting data that used in this research are questionnaire and documentation. The instrument of validity test uses product moment and for reliability test uses coefficient alpha formula. Uji prasyarat are conducted with normality test, hetokedastisity test, and multicolonierity test. The technique that is used  for analyzing data is multiple regression analysis. Basen on this research, it is obtained that (1) the discipline learning  has positive and significant influence to the student achievement for IPS students at 11th grade of MAN in Padang (2) The students confidence influences positively and significantly to the student achievement for IPS students at 11th grade of MAN in Padang (3) The discipline learning and students confidence have positive and significant inluence to the student achievement for IPS students at 11th grade of MAN in PadangKeyword :Discipline learning, student confidence, student achievement

This research aim to determine the effect of metacognitive awareness on student achievement index of Biology Education Department University of Papua. The research method using expost facto. The research at Biology Education Department. The number of sample is 110 students were taken using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Metacognitive awareness is measured using a questionnaire MAI (Metacognitive Awarennes Inventory) which was adopted from Schraw &amp; Dennison and student achievement index data obtained from documentation of Biology Education Department. Analysis of data using simple regression analysis at the significant level of 0.05. The result showed that the highest percentage of metacognitive awareness aspect is the debugging strategies with a percentage of 84.9% and the lowest aspect is declarative knowledge with a percentage 58.0%. Based on the result of regression analysis that there are effect of metacognitive awareness to student achievement index of Biology Education Department of 22.6% with regression equation ŷ = 1.519 + 0,016X indicating that any increase in the value of metacognitive awareness will increase student achievement index gathering of 0,016 on 1,519 constants

<span>Based on the problems obtained, the ability of students to master the subjects of research statistics is still categorized as low until this causes them to be weak in completing their final assignments. Therefore, the researchers investigated how students' mastery of the research statistical concepts and their learning motivation using learning innovations, one of which was Problem Based Learning (PBL). This research was conducted at the Islamic Education School (PGMI) Islamic State Teacher Education Institute (IAIN) Bengkulu where the sample used was semester 8<sup>th</sup> students. The research method was quantitative with a sample of 145. The research instrument was using a motivation questionnaire and multiple choice questions. The results will then be analyzed using simple regression analysis which will be presented in the form of a data table.</span>

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil penelitian tentang pengaruh prokrastinasi akademik terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di Salah satu SMK swasta di Bandung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey explanasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 48 siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran 2 di salah satu SMK swasta di Bandung yang telah tersertifikasi. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model skala yang diadaptasi dari responden. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa prokrastinasi akademik berada pada kategori hamper tinggi, dan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pengantar administrasi perkantorann kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran 2 di salah satu SMK swasta di Bandung berada pada kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan koefisien regresi sederhana, diperoleh hasil bahwa prokrastinasi akademik baik secara parsial maupun simultan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Artikel ini menyarankan agar pihak guru lebih memperhatikan perilaku siswa yang memiliki kecenderungan atau ciri-ciri prokrastinasi akademik dalam penerapan pembelajaran untuk menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik siswa agar dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran siswa dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar-nya.Kata Kunci: prokrastinasi akademik, prestasi belajar siswa. ACADEMIC PROCRASTINATION REDUCE STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTThis article aims to describe the results of research on academic procrastination effect on student achievement in One of the private vocational school in Bandung . This research method used survey method explanatory . Respondents in this research were 48 students of class XI competence in Office Administration 2 in One of the private vocational school in Bandung which has been certified. The data in this study were obtained through a questionnaire that was developed using scale models adapted from the respondents . The collected data were analyzed using simple regression analysis .The result of the data analysis revealed that Academic procrastination included almost high category, meanwhile the student achievement in the skill competence of office administration class at one of the private vocational school in Bandung included in low category. Based on the coefficient calculation of simple regression, the result revealed that academic procrastination partially and simultaneously, has the significant influence toward student achievement. The article suggested that the teachers pay more attention to the behavior of students who have a tendency or characteristics of academic procrastination in the application of learning to reduce students' academic procrastination in the implementation of learning activities that students can improve his learning achievement.Keywords: intelligence quotion, student achievement.

This study discusses fatherly learning about the initial ability of learning outcomes of Biology participants in grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kaledupa. This research can help educators in preparing teaching materials for students before starting learning. This type of research used in this study is ex post facto. The population in this study were all class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Kaledupa with a total of 3 classes, while the sample was obtained by 1 class using purposive sampling. The instrument for collecting data uses test instruments for students' initial abilities as well as for learning outcomes. The results of the research show what is meant by Preliminary Principles on the learning outcomes of Biology Science VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kaledupa. This is based on the results of hypothesis testing using simple regression analysis obtained significance value of 0.004 <0.05. Also, from a simple regression analysis table supported by an initial ability regression coefficient of 0.764 which is claimed to support every 1% of the initial ability score, the added learning outcome score is 0.764. This regression coefficient is positive, so it can be agreed that the direction of the effect of the initial ability variable on learning outcomes is positive.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat, dikarenakan perkembangan era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih dan bisa berdampak pada siswa,membuat orang tua semakin resah atas perkembangan teknologi terutama pada permainan game online. Penulis tertarik untuk meneliti siswa yang kecanduan bermain game online, tujuan peniltian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh game online terhadap motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa SD Kecamatan Pammana Kabupaten Wajo.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SD Kecamatan Pammana Kabupaten Wajo yang terdiri dari 39 sekolah. Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode multistage random sampling sehingga diperoleh SDN 101 Tadangpalie, SDN 104 Abbanuangnge, SDN 99 Lampulung, dan SDN 244 Pammana yang menjadi sampel. Data yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket yang dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game onlinedapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa SD Kecamatan Pammana Kabupaten Wajo. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) berdasarkan nilai rata-rata yaitu 91,21 menunjkkan intensitas siswa kelas V dalam menggunakan game online berada dalam kategori tinggi atau sangat berpengaruh terhadap miotivasi belajar siswaSD Kecamatan Pammana Kabupaten Wajo, (2) berdasarkan nilai rata-rata 83,44 menunjukkan prestasi belajar siswa berada dalam kategori tinggi atau berpengaruh pada prestasi belajar siswa SD Kecamatan Pammana Kabupaten Wajo, (3) tidak ada pengaruh positif game online terhadap motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa SD Kecamatan Pammana Kabupaten Wajo. This research is motivated by the increasingly rapid development of technology, due to the development in the era of globalization and technologicy that are increasingly sophisticated and can have an impact on students, making parents increasingly restless about technological developments, especially in online game play. The author is interested in researching students who are addicted to play online games. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of online games on learning motivation and student achievement in SD Pammana District, Wajo Regency. The type of research used is ex post facto. The population in this study were all students of SD Pammana District, Wajo Regency, which consisted of 39 schools. The samples were determined using the multistage random sampling method so that SDN 101 Tadangpalie, SDN 104 Abbanuangnge, SDN 99 Lampulung, and SDN 244 Pammana were sampled. The data obtained by using a questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that online games can affect student motivation in SD Pammana District, Wajo Regency. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that (1) based on the average value of 91.21 showing that the intensity of class V students in using online games is in the high category or it highly influences the learning motivation of SD students in Pammana District, Wajo Regency, (2) based on the average value of 83.44 indicating that student achievement is in the high category or it has an effect on student achievement of SD Pammana District, Wajo Regency, (3) there is no positive effect of online games on learning motivation and student achievement of SD Pammana District, Wajo District.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of anxiety and learning motivation on student achievement. This research is a kind of ex post facto, a six-month study period. A population of 125 students, with a sample of 100 students were randomly selected. The research variables are student achievement as the dependent variable, while the independent variable is the level of anxiety of students and student learning motivation. Data collection methods used were the questionnaire method and documentation. Data analysis technique used is path analysis. It can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between anxiety level of students' motivation, there is no direct relationship between the level of anxiety of students on student achievement through student learning motivation, there is a positive relationship between learning motivation on student achievement. So it can be stated that there is a correlation between the level of anxiety and learning motivation of students simultaneously on student achievement.
