Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPN Veteran Jakarta) is one of the public universities which views student associations to play an important role in student self-development. Student’s self-development can be realized if students participate in every activity. but a lot of problems that occur because the process related to student association is still done manually without using an information system, where students have to come to campus to take care of all the needs to hold an activity. So that we need a system that aims to improve services to student associations as well as facilitate the management of existing student associations data and can increase the credibility of UPN Veteran Jakarta itself. It is called SIWA. It is expected to minimize errors that occur and manage business processes that exist in each student association. So that the benefits generated later, it is hoped that information on Real Estimate of Cost, submission of activity proposals, accountability reports and annual reports can be managed properly. Besides that, it can also support a paperless culture in the college environment. This information system will be built based on a web-based system and its development will use the waterfall method.

Technology is increasingly sophisticated with over time competition in the business world such as E-Commerce has a positive impact on entrepreneurs to advance their companies, namely by creating online websites so that offerings and sales are easy among the public. By accessing the website page of PT. Daya Berkah Sentosa Nusantara buyers do not have to come directly to the place or company, and send offers according to admin needs.The purpose of this study is to make it easier for researchers to solve supply and sales problems based on problems that arise in the company. The method used in this study is the Waterfall Method, with data collection techniques used using observation, interviews and literature study. The desired result of this research is to be able to create a website for the company, to be able to expand marketing reach, buyers can view products through the website.

This chapter presents a framework for a Web-based hospital information system to manage the surgery-management process (SMP). The framework can be used to manage any other hospital information system processes. The developed framework challenges the traditional hospital Web strategies with a dual aim: first, to improve customer satisfaction in an environment that often imposes unexplained deviation from planned activities, and second, to create a system that is an effective decision-support system for SMP. The chapter identifies factors affecting SMP decisions and employs a descriptive modeling technique known as IDEF3 to map the information flow within and between elements of SMP. The IDEF3 process mapping becomes part of an integrated Web-based system of multiple stages. Each stage has three levels of accessibility. The first level of the Web system is accessible to the public, the second level is accessible to patients and their designated representatives, and the third level is accessible only to hospital professionals.

Revenue and Expenditure Budget Village or abbreviated to APBDes every year among all the village's equipment is always busy with the utilization or management of village revenues to be allocated to several activities that aim to build the village. The main obstacles in APBDes management are lack of reporttransparency, inefficient performance, inadequate reporting thus hampering the implementation of rural development. As a form of effort to overcome this problem, it is necessary to design software application reports realization of web-based village budget usage. APBDes realization information system is web-based, using PHP web programming language and MySQL database. In implementing this system, it must be implemented or uploaded on the web server to be accessible on the internet. Because this implementation isexperimental, the author uses the XAMPP application as his web server. With the presence of these systems, the public can get information about APBDes easily without having to come to the village hall or ask for the explanation to the village apparatus and Government at the kecamatan level can also control and evaluate the reporting of APBDes relaisaasi online. Many companies have implemented technology in conducting their business, one of them is by using information systems in managing their business. The business process that runs on the Konveksi A&N is still manual because the Konveksi A&N has not implemented or is familiar with information systems like other companies has. This causes all the data collection process of goods, production, and transactions are all documented in different books, making it possible for errors in recording and calculating the data. In addition, the owner also needs to come directly to the location to find out new data or updated data where this takes more time. This research aims to establish a web-based system that can make business processes in Konveksi A&N more effective. This web-based system will be built using a system development methodology in the form of a prototyping method that uses the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language. System modeling was developed using UML 2.5, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The final result of this study is a website-shaped information system that can document all data contained in the Konveksi A&N such as the existence of a master data that contains all the data of convection, production data, and also transaction data to facilitate the owner in checking back all activities that are occurs in Konveksi A&N. There are also some reports about the transaction that can display information related to data contained in the system.

Abstrak : Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan Nusantara Ternate merupakan salah satu instansi pemerintah yang ada pada kota ternate pada bidang Kelautan dan Perikanan, dalam mengelola dan media menyimpan informasi yang berhubungan dengan data, profil dan kegiatan pegawai masih dilakukan secara manual. Pendataan secara manual dianggap tidak efektif serta membutuhkan waktu, di saat melakukan pengecekan dan pencarian data-data pegawai tersebut harus membuka satu persatu Arsip Pegawai. The increasing need for property in Tanjungpinang City is very growing, especially in the housing sector. Selection of property based on location and facilities and infrastructure is always a consideration for the community in making decisions to buy a property. Difficulty finding property location information in a certain area often occurs, resulting in people not getting references about the properties offered in Tanjungpinang City. The purpose of this research is to create a web-based geographic information system (GIS) regarding the distribution of the number of properties on offer, especially in Tanjungpinang City using a web-based mapping approach. In the development of Property GIS the author uses the Waterfall method and in the analysis of system requirements it is modeled with UML (Unified Modeling Language) and implemented with the PHP programming language and MySQLI database. It is hoped that the results of making this property's geographic information system can help the public to find out information about the distribution of properties offered, such as the location of property coordinates, addresses, prices, property photos, property specification data and property developer data.

Yoga Farm is a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) that focuses on catfish breeding that is still doing business processes manually. With this process, information received by related parties is very difficult to obtain quickly. Therefore, the product is still not widely known, and customers are still few because the system used in sales and promotions still uses a manual system. The research method used is qualitative. This study aims to create a sales information system recommended at Yoga Farm and design using Unified modeling language (UML) for the recommended business processes. Customers will get product information in real-time, products can be widely recognized, and the number of Yoga Farm customers can increase. Based on the results of this study, adoption of a web-based sales information system can certainly make it easier to get the latest information quickly, can expand the market and can also facilitate customers in the transaction. For future research, this research can be used as a reference for conducting similar studies at other MSMEs to increase sales

The presence of international staff or independent expatriate academicians in the cross border higher education world today is indeed a global issue that brings benefits to the development of higher education worldwide. The decision taken by independent expatriate academicians to come to the host country to pursue a career as an academician will certainly have useful implications on the career they are pursuing. Through in-depth interviews based on a qualitative approach adopted on thirty (30) selected voluntarily respondents in three public universities, the objective of this study was to find out the implications on self-development of careers as independent expatriate academicians serving in the host country. From the findings received as a result of the interviews conducted, the implications for self-development in terms of the career which could be seen were (I) Promotion (II) Lucrative income (III) Security in Malaysia and (IV) Harmony in the workplace. From each finding stated by the respondents involved, it had been proven that the decision was taken by independent expatriate academicians to the host country in pursuing a career as an academician had given the positive implication that indirectly brought benefits to themselves. The implications for self-development on a career as an independent expatriate academician were also able to lead to the retention of human resources of independent expatriate academicians which can reduce the turnover rate in an organisation such as academics in Malaysian Public Institutions of Higher Learning.

The development of technology is very influential in the business processes of an organization to be able to carry out its duties and functions. As a government agency engaged in research, the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) needs to make organizational changes to support its vision as a world-class research institution. One of the first steps taken is reorganizing and redistributing employees that have a high impact on the business process of service to employees because the supporting resources are placed corporately and no longer in the work units. To deal with this problem, we developed a Regional Service Information System using the Scrum methodology. The output is a web-based software that facilitates service requests needed by employees, ranging from service submission, processing by the Area Manager and Central Manager, to being received again by the service requester. The Regional Service Information System is expected to be a solution to the problems that arise as a result of the redistribution of employees at LIPI and to improve the effectiveness of employees as the research supporting resources.

This study aims to design a web-based academic information system at STIEM Bongaya Makassar. During this academic service to students is still done manually, for example at the end of the semester students usually queue up to see grades and class schedules that use paper media that is posted on the bulletin board, so servants to students become ineffective and inefficient. With the advancement of information technology such as internet media, it can support the academic activities of a college. So with the use of internet media students do not need to come directly to the lecture to get academic information The web-based academic information system at STIEM Bongaya Makassar is expected to provide convenience in managing student data and academic services. This academic information system will later be web-based created using the Php and MySQL programming languages ​​as a database, and white box testing as a testing method to find out whether an application has been made free of logical errors
