The article covers the basis for method of circuit training, that consist of multiple repetition of physical exercises under the condition of exact dosage of loading in established sequence of change and rotation with rest. The foundation of pedagogical approaches and key demands for circuit training are deeply connected to general principles of sports training. Circuit training looks like complex system of training process which is built on up-to-date achievements in scientific developments and modern organizational methodical approaches during training lessons with the purpose of implementation of individual group tasks and improvement of key moving abilities and their complex identifications. Circuit training gives a chance to independently obtain knowledge from physical features, improve specific abilities and skills. Lessons on circuit training permit to carry out easier exercises without tools, and then gradually increase the tempo and the amount of repetitions.

Purpose: to determine the influence of circuit training on the level of strength and speed-strength abilities development in basketball players of 18-19 years old at the pre-competitive and competitive stages of the training process. Material: athletes (n = 32) were divided into 2 groups of 16 people. The pedagogical experiment lasted 7 months. Tests were applied to determine speed-power abilities: standing long jump test (broad jump, cm); vertical jump test. Strength was evaluated by the following tests: pull-up bars; hanging leg raises (stall bars)). Results: it was determined that power and speed-power abilities are leading in basketball. It was proposed the set of physical exercises performed on the principle of circuit training. It was confirmed the expediency of the circuit training applying for the development of power and speed-power abilities in basketball players. It is established that the circular training in the preparatory and final parts of the training increases the speed and speed-strength indicators of basketball players. Conclusion: It is recommended the circuit training applying at the pre-competitive and competitive stages of the training process.

Still many coaches are not yet understood to compose the form of practice ranging from physical exercises, techniques. Physical exercises range from mild to heavy and fun exercise forms. As for the training techniques, many trainers are less familiar starting from the term Practice Series (basic/Basic,) until the situation play for some techniques in futsal sports. The article is devoted to the problem of organizing the training process in boxing classes in higher education institutions. Determining the features of the psychomotor state of boxing students and its consideration in the dynamics of training allows optimizing the process of physical training of future professionals and contributes to the achievement of planned sports results. A specialized training program has been developed, which consists of nine complex specialized physical exercises aimed at developing the coordination qualities of boxing students. The aim is to investigate the state of psychomotor state of boxing students under the conditions of using specialized coordination physical exercises. A significant positive dynamics of psychomotor state indicators of boxing students has been established under the condition of using specialized physical exercises of coordination orientation. The obtained results expand the scientific information on the need to take into account the psychomotor state of students engaged in boxing. The existing programs of the training process have been supplemented, which are aimed at improving the coordination qualities of boxing students. In the context of modeling the modern system of physical education in higher education institutions, the effectiveness of the use of a sectional form of organization of classes has been proved, which involves the consideration of individualized features of the psychomotor state of student.

Projecting the educational and didactical work presumes using certain strict techniques, supported by methods and means of intellectual work. The high demand of education, permanent education, obliges students to revalue their principles, objectives, structure, methodology and work style, to adequately respond to the ever increasing requirements that society brings forward. The main purpose of this paper is identifying the influence of intellectual work techniques on the process of training by scientifically understanding the domain of physical education and sport, the transfer ability of skills in terms of situations and modalities of work within the physical education and sports domain. In this context, the positive results of evaluating distributive attention and psychological fatigue through the Prague Test, the Toulouse Pierron Test and the test for determining self-esteem, all have proven that the methods and techniques of intellectual work used here have been efficient confirming the hypothesis.

Background: School-based interventions are a key opportunity to improve children’s physical activity (PA); however, there is lack of evidence about how pedagogical approaches to motor learning in physical education (PE) might affect PA in children. Therefore, this study aimed to assess how different pedagogical approaches in PE might affect children’s PA. Methods: Participants (n = 360, 5–6 years) from 12 primary schools within the SAMPLE-PE randomized controlled trial were randomly allocated to either Linear Pedagogy (LP: n = 3) or Nonlinear Pedagogy (NP: n = 3) interventions, where schools received a 15-week PE intervention delivered by trained coaches, or to a control group (n = 6), where schools followed usual practice. ActiGraph GT9X accelerometers were used to assess PA metrics (moderate-to-vigorous PA, mean raw acceleration and lowest acceleration over the most active hour and half hour) over whole and segmented weeks at baseline, immediately post-intervention and 6 months follow-up. Intention to treat analysis employing multilevel modelling was used to assess intervention effects. Results: LP and NP interventions did not significantly affect children’s PA levels compared to the control group. Conclusion: PE interventions based on LP and NP alone might not be effective in improving habitual PA in children.
