Abstract:It is rare for scholars in the issues of literature and its relation to life to direct their attention to the basic individual and family values that civilizational tradition preserved in its cultural, ethical and religious content that helped to contribute to enlighten human thought and produce the exemplary figures as well as their humanitarian directions. Such effort often met with difficulties that are justifiable especially in matters that needed the beneficial approach between Sociology, literary studies and Human Sciences in general. To find a middle and convenient way for a methodological research intervention between them is no easy task. This study is an effort to approach this field from the interest in the insufficiency of what came in the anthology of Arabic poems and the classical tradition concerning the values of generosity, knighthood and aid on one hand, and what relates to them concerning their newly recovered form, on the other. Returning to the ancient and wealthy sources is significant in order to study and discover the elements of stability and changes that faced these individual and kinship values particularly after the emergence of Islam as it brought new understanding to the concept of religion in relation to the obligatory acts, belief and behavior. In addition to that the values went through new understanding with the expansion of the Muslim Empire and the coexistence of different nations and tribes in it cities. This new renaissance had given new cultural and civilizational input to those values imparting them with new concepts and traditions related to individual, kinship and social aspects that subsequently influenced the characteristics of thoughts, life and behavior on one hand, and literary and artistic expression on the other; a consequence of which we are witnessing its social development until today. Keywords: Traditional values– Kinship– Civilizational influences– Stability and change– Modern era.

Family is an important institution to build a person's personality, morality, value and attitude. When this institution communicates properly, it shows the impact e.g. a boy or a girl becomes social human being. Unfortunately in our family gender biasness is reinforced continuously by starting to behave differently with boys and girls from the childhood. Parents communicate with them in a different way which constructs the traits of “masculinity” and “femininity”. Girls are compelled to learn the feminine role with politeness, submissiveness and their mobility is restricted in public world. It is a family which trains a girl to be a good mother, wife, sister or daughter, on the other hand a boy learns to be social, intellectual, able to run the world and strong. This different formation of role and behavior results in the ongoing discrimination everywhere in the society. This reinforcement is sort of relief from social stigmatization but has overall negative impact on life and through this family can be counted as the main birthplace of discrimination against women. Girls and boys must be raised neutrally to eradicate the gender differences and ensure the equality.

This study attempted to discover and analyse the impact of violent online games on the players’ language and behavior as well as how these expressions might harm, intimidate, and damage others’ face. It is worth mentioning that online games become the young’s playground where they interact with others and may adopt a certain type of language and behavior.  As players engage in a competitive fight of characters, they use certain communicative styles to express their feelings and emotions, including impolite expressions. Hence, this paper looked into these expressions, their responses to those expressions, and the reasons behind them. In addition, this study identified whether there is any impact in choosing these impolite expressions. Moreover, these violent gaming can provide a good field of investigation because impoliteness is widely occurring in such situations, through which people from various cultures, ages and genders come in contact to fight each other, be uncivil, and criticize and damage the other’s face. Moreover, these games may even encourage certain harmful impolite terminology and aggressive behavior to inter the players ‘repertoire and become the language of everyday use. In gathering the data, impolite expressions were collected by participating in some battles involving abusive and impolite words. Based on the results obtained, the study reached some conclusions that Culpeper’s (2005) and Spencer-Oatey’s (2002 and 2005) models are applicable in the context of violent online games. There is a big tendency that young people adopt and use various impolite expressions according to their gender and their relations for many reasons. In addition, it is widely recognized that most players have limited politeness competence and directly reply to others’ impolite language with hostility. Finally yet importantly, positive impoliteness strategies are used more than the other models, whereas quality of face was the most damaged one in Spencer-Oatey model.

In Poland, similarly as in the entire Europe, the quality of air is shaped primarily by communal-living sources and road transport. Due to the steadily increasing share of city residents in the general population, the issue of providing clean air will become a more significant problem for human health over the years, and therefore a stronger incentive to intensify the research. Hence, the key challenge faced by a modern society is to limit the emissions of harmful substances in order to minimize the impact exerted by transport on air pollution and health. Increasingly stringent emission standards are imposed on car manufacturers while on the other hand, the problem of drivers is being ignored namely their awareness of possibilities to reduce the emissions and the ways in which they can help protecting also their own health and life by applying the rules related to the concept of eco-driving in practice. The aim of this paper is to present differences in perception of eco-driving principles in two random and nation-wide surveys: one carried out in 2015 and the other in 2017. Initial conclusions show a major increase (49.4% to 53.2%) of eco-driving awareness among respondents in 2017 when compared to 2015.

This research examined the influence of sociocultural paradigms of menopause on attitudes toward menopause. Five hundred eighty-one women and men, between the ages of 18 and 85, were assigned to one of three groups distinguished by the context within which they expressed their attitudes toward menopause. The contexts were designed to reflect particular paradigms: one group described their attitudes toward three medical problems, including menopause; a second group described their attitudes toward three life transitions, including menopause; and a third group described their attitudes toward three symbols of aging, including menopause. Positive and negative subscales of the attitude questionnaires for menopause were analyzed for context and age/experience. Results indicated that the medical context elicited significantly more negative and fewer positive attitudes than did the other two contexts, particularly among older participants. In general, women's attitudes were more positive than were men's, and attitudes became increasingly positive with age and/or experience. The discussion includes the potential role of attitudes as mediating the impact of sociocultural paradigms on experience and behavior.

Abstract. This work focuses on exploring the influence of team attachment on fans’ recreational consumption, satisfaction, and behavior by means of structural equation modeling. The subjects of the study are tourist who come to Tijuana (Mexico) from other cities on the Mexico-United States border to attend matches of the Xolos de Tijuana Mexican football team. A sample of 290 spectators was selected taking the total number of attendees as our universe, and using 95% confidence level and relative error of ± 4%. The study findings revealed a significant impact of attachment to the team on positive perception of the lived experience. However, this positive perception does not affect consumption originated by visitors’ attitudinal behavior. On the other hand, this behavior seems to suggest that recreational consumption is prompted by fans’ disposition to be supportive towards what can benefit their team.

Abstract: This article deals a review of the environmental ethics and its main positions, bringing a critical analysis about the influence of such theories in the 1988’s Federal Constitution, particularly in the light of the right to an ecologically balanced environment as duplicitous, intergenerational and fundamental right. The anthropocentric, sentientist, ecocentric and biocentric views are presented as evolution of human thought, revealing an overcoming of moral paradigms, arising from the historical and imperative need for reconfiguration of the human-nature interface, where the human species, as the protagonist of the whole world, makes room for the idea that the other elements of the planetary ecosystem have their own intrinsic value, due to the key role they play in the environment, no longer to the extent of their usefulness to human aspirations, in spite of the reality revealing the lack of effectiveness of these new concepts with regard to full trial of the fundamental right to an ecologically balanced environment.
