As a result of the analysis of the research results, it is easy to see that the voltage at the output of our electrothermal generator increases with increasing temperature difference between the surface of the heating system pipe and the aluminum air cooling radiator, between which are Peltier elements. However, the efficiency of such a generation is much lower than the efficiency indicated in the development guides of the corresponding model of the Peltier element (Appendix B). The reason for this is, obviously, the negative impact of the applied structural elements of the created model, which reduce the efficiency of heat transfer between the source of the temperature difference and the Peltier element. The step-up voltage converter used in the created model allows to receive necessary for power supply of useful devices of 5 V of a voltage on an output of the generator, but according to the parameters, this device needs a certain (though rather small) voltage on the input. In the study without load, we were able to obtain at the output of the converter 5 V standard voltage at a temperature difference ΔT = 16.1 ° C. Instead, in the second study, when the output of the converter was used as a source for the cooling fan, the required 5 V was achieved only at ΔТ = 23.2 ° С. This temperature difference is easily achieved by the surface of the heating radiator and the air of the living space during the heating season. That is, a generator based on four Peltier elements TPP 1 - 12706 will really be able to produce the required amount of electricity to power useful devices and charge mobile devices. Of particular interest is the result of a study of the efficiency of active air cooling, powered by the output of our generator. As we can see, the voltage at the Peltier elements under the conditions of the current at the generator output (Fig. 4, dependence 4) is noticeably lower than that in the case of the no-load experiment (Fig. 4, dependence 1). But only until the step-up converter can provide a voltage of 5 V (Fig. 4, dependence 3 has a jump near ΔT = 23.2 ° C) to power the fan active cooling radiator! After that, the active cooling fan is switched on and the generation efficiency becomes higher than that during the idling study. This means that the use of active cooling of the radiator makes sense in such devices. The scientific novelty of the work is to confirm the possibility of creating a heat generator using as a source of energy available in everyday life temperature difference, in particular, obtained the characteristics of the modern Peltier element. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of using the device at home when using a heated battery to obtain electricity that can be used to connect a flashlight, humidifier, charge the fitness bracelet.

According to the WHO statement dated March 11, 2020, the coronavirus infection SARS-CoV-2 has reached the scale of a pandemic and is currently a world health problem. A special group of the population that requires increased attention is pregnant women due to the fact that pneumonia occupies the third place in the structure of indirect causes of maternal mortality. Pregnant women whose immune system has changed appeared to be at an increased risk of infection. Pregnancy is a risk factor for the development of a more severe course of acute respiratory viral diseases and influenza. To date, the issue of intrauterine transmission of coronavirus disease remains completely unexplored, which causes fear among pregnant women for the future generation. Addition of a new coronavirus infection SARS-CoV-2 has a negative impact on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, the health of newborns, especially in patients with a burdened obstetric history. Pregnancy itself and childbirth do not affect the course of COVID-19, but the infection addition can complicate the course of gestation, causing respiratory distress syndrome, premature birth and spontaneous miscarriages, congenital pneumonia and antenatal death of newborns born from covid-positive mothers. The literature published from December 1, 2019 to July 30, 2021 was searched in several databases, including PubMed, Web of Science, Google Scholar and the WHO COVID-19 database, of which 52 articles were selected for detailed consideration. The relevant literature was searched to understand the issues of infection transmission to newborns from infected mothers and the clinical manifestations of the disease in the former. As a result, it was found that newborns can become infected with SARS-Cov-2 in close contact with infected patients or asymptomatic virus carriers. However, based on the data of modern literature, it is impossible to unequivocally answer the questions posed, more facts are needed to solve the problem. The practical significance of the work is that the results of the study should be used for further studying the consequences of COVID-19 for the health of newborn children.

In the water body monitoring and quality management system the identification of negative impact sources is of high importance. The most striking example of anthropogenic changes of nature is pollution, that is introduction into the environment of substances and energy, alien for it, or peculiar to it, but in the concentration exceeding background indicators. Inventory of anthropogenic polluters of water ecosystems was carried out on the example of the Voronezh reservoir which is influenced potent impact of the city agglomeration surrounding it. The article presents the results of the carried out inventory. As the main sources of anthropogenic pollution of the water area of a reservoir leading to transformation of quality of waters were allocated: activity of the production enterprises, farming, transport and activity of the population of the city and suburbs. The pollutants allocated in a surrounding medium from these sources get to a reservoir with household drains; production sewage; atmospheric precipitation; a thawed and rain drain from the territory (including from the production platforms, farmlands, personal subsidiary farms); livestock production drains; underground waters; washing waters of water lifting stations; the water mass of the Voronezh River and the small city water currents coming negative impact of all listed above sources. The researches of chemical composition of snow cover of various functional zones of the city of Voronezh which are earlier conducted by the author showed that thawed snow contain the significant amount of the pollutants leading to adverse changes in a surrounding medium. Paths of migration of pollutants demonstrate ekologo-geochemical coherence of the water area of a reservoir and the adjacent territory. Following the results of a research the chip of sources of anthropogenic pollution, as well as the routes of pollutant movement in various environments and input to a reservoir has been developed. The practical significance of the developed scheme input to the possibility of its use for adoption of efficient administrative decisions by authorities in the field of regional water management policy.

Studies of factors of sustainable economic development in modern conditions are highly relevant for Russia due to the constant increase and tightening of sanctions restrictions. They have a negative impact on the introduction of innovative developments and economic growth, and reduce the competitiveness of Russian enterprises and their products on world markets. Human capital can become one of the key factors for countering sanctions restrictions, improving the efficiency of economic development and gaining additional competitive advantages for domestic enterprises and the economy as a whole. Assessing the impact of human capital on the sustainable development of the economy is difficult, since it is one of the specific forms of capital. When making appropriate measurements, economic scientists rely on a number of developed theoretical methods and practical tools that support them, which allow us to obtain fairly accurate values of the human capital development index (HDI) based on statistical data. First of all, this is the current UN methodology for calculating the HDI indicator, as well as modern software systems OriginPro-8.6 and Eviews-10.0, which have sufficiently advanced functionality for performing calculations. Russia today has all the necessary prerequisites and opportunities for progressive social and economic development. However, the formation of econometric models will help to timely determine the current and forecast values of the level of human capital development for individual enterprises, industries, and the country’s economy as a whole. This paper shows the practical application of the econometric tools of all the above approaches to obtain the calculated values of the HDI indicator for different time periods and different scenarios for the development of the Russian economy. The results obtained confirmed the high practical significance of the tools used and the acceptable accuracy of the calculations. However, the current and forecast values of the level of human capital development alone will not be able to ensure the effective development of the Russian economy. On the contrary, the effective use of human capital in the implementation of import substitution strategies and national projects will allow our country to become one of the world’s leading economic development countries.

Hard Disk Drive (HDD) system enclosures in a data center require effective cooling systems to avoid HDD overheating. These systems often rely on air cooling because of their cost effciency and maintainability. Air cooling systems typically consist of an array of axial fans which push or pull the air through the system. These fans emit high level tonal noise particularly at high tip speed ratios. High-capacity HDDs, on the other hand, are sensitive to high acoustic noise, which consequently increases the risk of read/write error and deteriorates drive performance. Therefore, cooling fan noise adversely affects the function of the HDD enclosure systems which emphasizes the need to understand the noise sources and develop methods to mitigate HDD noise exposure.

The influence of the drying technique on certain quality attributes of dried grapes was analysed. Five varieties of grape were used in this study (Bezsemenné, Perlette, Vrboska, Beauty seedless, and Jakubské). All the varieties were dried using four methods: drying at 40 °C, combined drying (70, 65, and 60 °C), drying at 70 °C, and lyophilisation. The quality attributes such as total soluble solids, water activity, content of vitamin C, the colour parameters (L*, a*, b*), and microbiological (colony forming units, moulds, yeasts) and sensory (smoothness, gloss, colour, odour, chewability, juiciness, flavour, and overall impression) analysis were determined, depending on the method of drying. Lyophilised grapes from the Jakubské variety had the highest vitamin C content. They contained 0.58 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of dried grapes. However, no significant differences between varieties in vitamin C content were found. This confirmed concerns about the negative impact on the nutritional quality of dried grapes with increasing temperature. The lowest total count of microorganisms (CFU), moulds, and yeasts were determined after using highest drying temperature (70 °C). Higher CFU values were determined in lyophilised grapes, and then followed by grapes dried at 40 °C. Lyophilised grapes and grapes dried at 40 °C achieved the best sensory rating in general. The final product was intended to have a unique appearance while maintaining the evaluated quality parameters.

PurposeThe study of business ethics has seldom shed light on small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) despite their theoretical and practical significance. Drawing from strain perspective, the purpose of this paper is to address this insufficiency and investigate SME owners’ ethical attitudes toward money-related deviances.Design/methodology/approachBased on a large sample of 741 Chinese SMEs, an OLS regression analysis was employed to test associated hypotheses. The robustness of results was additionally checked.FindingsThe results suggest that for stratification variables, education level is positively related to ethical attitudes, whereas household income level is surprisingly negatively associated with ethical attitudes; for materialism facets, success and happiness exert a negative impact on ethical attitudes as hypothesized, but centrality has no associated impact.Research limitations/implicationsThis study has examined both structural and motivational sources of personal strains on the ethical attitude of SME owners, while the characteristics of these strains could be explored in the future studies.Originality/valueThis study advances and complements the dominant behavior approach that emphasizes cognitive and other psychological processes in explaining individual ethical attitudes. It is also seemingly the first study to examine the influence of three materialism facets on entrepreneurial ethical attitudes.

Finance is the core of modern economy. The security and stability of the financial system is the key to stable economic and social development. During the operation of the financial system, financial chaos such as the severe turbulence of the financial market and the financial crisis occurred due to deterministic instability, which brought a great negative impact on economic growth and social stability. For the financial chaotic system, an intermittent feedback controller is designed in this paper. By adjusting the controller parameters, the financial system can be controlled from chaotic to periodic evolution. First, the dynamic equations and controllers of the financial system are analyzed and the range of values of the controller parameters is theoretically obtained. Then, the influence of parameters on the system is studied, and the feasibility of the proposed method is proved by numerical simulation. Finally, the practical significance of the controller on the macrocontrol of the financial crisis is discussed. It is theoretically proven that when the financial crisis comes, the financial system can be stabilized more quickly through appropriate control methods.
