This study aimed to (1) describe the learning outcome of writing a report before a portfolio-based learning model of the students of class VIII B at MTs Negeri 2 Bengkulu was conducted, (2) describe the result of the learning model in writing a report after portfolio-based learning in class VIII B MTs Negeri 2 Bengkulu was conducted, (3) describe the improvement in the ability to write a report based on the portfolio-based learning model of the students of class VIII B at MTs Negeri 2 Bengkulu. (1) The research was an action research, with descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study were the mean of the result of the pre-test in writing report material was 64 in sufficient category and the percentage of classical mastery was 75%. (2) The mean score of the students’ discussion result on writing report subject with the portfolio-based learning model in the first cycle was 74 in medium category. (3) The mean score of students’ discussion result on writing report subject with the portfolio-based learning model in cycle II was 80 in good category. (4) The mean result of the post-test on writing report material with the portfolio-based learning model was 80 in good category. (5) The percentage of classical mastery was 100% achived in cycle II. (6) The portfolio-based learning model was accurate enough to be implemented in improving student learning outcome. The conclusion of this study was that the portfolio-based learning model was accurate enough to be implemented in improving student learning outcome. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan media Lagu dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, terlebih untuk menguasai kosakata bahasa Arab di Madrasah Aliyah (MA). Peneliti menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus yang masing-masing siklus meliputi 3 tahap, yaitu 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan dan observasi, dan 3) refleksi. Adapun Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu tes dan non tes. Sedangkan instrumen penelitian berupa pre-test , post-tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis deskriptif komparatif digunakan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Adapun hasil dari penelitian tersebut menjelaskan bahwa pembelajaran mufradat dengan menggunakan media lagu dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif dan sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan bukti adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik mulai dari kondisi awal (pra siklus) sebesar 21,05% dari peserta didik yang nilainya sesuai dengan KKM, kemudian siklus pertama meningkat menjadi 28,95% dan akhirnya pada siklus kedua meningkat drastis menjadi 89,48%. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan yaitu minimal 75% dari capaian belajar, dan pembelajaran ini dikatakan berhasil. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the song media in learning Arabic, especially in vocabulary mastery of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) students. This research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles, each of which includes 3 stages, namely 1) planning, 2) implementation and observation, and 3) reflection. The data collection techniques are test and non-test. While the research instruments were pre-test, post-test and observation. Researchers used a comparative descriptive analysis technique by comparing the learning outcomes of pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that mufradat learning using song media can be used as an alternative learning media and is very effective for improving student learning outcomes with evidence of an increase in student learning outcomes starting from the initial conditions (pre-cycle) of 21.05% which is in accordance with the KKM, then the first cycle increased to 28.95% and finally in the second cycle increased dramatically to 89.48%. This is in accordance with the indicators of success, namely at least 75% of learning outcome, and this learning is successful.

AbstractSeveral factors can causes a low student learning outcomes in mathematics. One of them is lack of motivation in learning so students are not enthusiastic in learning seen from students who tend to be embarrassed or afraid to ask questions, lack of responding to the teacher, and less responding to the teacher's explanation. Therefore, the importance of innovative learning and motivation can help students get the optimal learning process. This study aims, to describe the effectiveness of learning and improving student learning outcomes through discussion learning with ARCS motivation strategy about the surface area and volume of cube in 8th grade of junior high school. This study use a quantitative descriptive study using one group pretest-post test study. The subject of this study are student of VIII-B in SMPN 2 Wonoayu with a total of 32 students. Data collection’s methods are using tests (pretest and post test), questionnaires and observations. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. To find out the increase in student learning outcomes in VIII-B class, the data were analyzed using n-gain. The results of this study include the ability of teachers to manage learning including good categories, students activities including active categories with an average percentage of 99.98 %, the response of students included in the good category with a percentage of 100%, completeness student learning there are 28 students completed with a percentage of 87,50% and increased student learning outcomes including the medium category. Based on the results of the research data, the implication of the results of this study is the determination of appropriate learning models and strategies can be used to improve student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the gain score obtained by students belonging to the medium category. The use of the discussion learning model in this study is said to be effective because it has fulfilled 4 components, namely student learning activities, student responses, student learning completeness and increased student learning outcomes.Keywords: discussion, ARCS motivation, result of learning

This  study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students of class VIII 3 SMP Negeri 2 Meurah Mulia which is known from the observations. The research objective was to determine the improvement of learning outcomes in the Pascal Law material for class VIII 3 students of SMP Negeri 2 Meurah Mulia by using project based learning (pjbl) of learning model. This research is a type of classroom action research with a model developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The study subjects were students of class VIII 3, with a total of 16 students. The techniques used in data collection are tests, observation, interviews and documentation. This study consisted of 2 (two) cycles where there were two meetings in each cycle. The data analysis technique used a qualitative descriptive analysis. The study success criteria set for student learning outcomes is 75 for a scale of 1-100 grading. The results showed that the application of the project based learning (pjbl) of learning model could improve the learning outcomes of class VIII 3 students of SMP Negeri 2 Meurah Mulia. The average learning outcomes in cycle I was 73.16 and in cycle II increased to 82.51. In conclusion, the application of the project based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in science learning class VIII 3 SMP Negeri 2 Meurah Mulia.

The background of this study is the low learning outcomes of students' IPS, from 22 students only 10 (45.45%) reaching the determined KKM, in addition the average student learning outcome is 62.50. The study aims to improve the learning outcomes of IPS Through the application of TSTS learning model. This research is a classroom action research, this research is conducted in SDN 21 Sitorajo Kecamatan Kuantan Tengah. Subjects in this study were students of class IV B with a total of 22 students. This research is conducted two cycles with four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result of research stated that after applied cooperative learning model type TSTS can improve learning result of IPS. This is evidenced by: (a) teacher activity in cycle I is 62,50, in cycle II equal to 82,81. Student activity in cycle I earn 65,62, in cycle II equal to 85,93; (b) result of student learning on prasiklus equal to 62,50, at cycle I equal to 72,50 and at second cycle equal to 82,18.

This research is based on the fact that the indicators of student’s independence and attention are low in learning process. This research aimed to describe the level of student’s independence (aspect of self confidence and responsibility), level of student’s attention (sustained attention and executive attention), cognitive learning outcome, student’s response, learning process, and the problems of learning process. The research design used is one group pretest-post test design, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted on the students of senior high school (Madrasah Aliyah) class X in second semester. The result of research shows the level of student’s independence, attention and test score of student learning outcome either male or female students were improving. The student’s response of learning by using the integrated group investigation of power teaching also gets a good response and the learning process is categorized as very good category. Problem faced is only about creating the media of presentation but it can solved by student’s creativity to create the media. The conclusion of this research, is that by using The Integrated group Investigation of power teaching can keep the student’s independence, attention, and student learning outcome in ecosystem material. Thus method also gets a good response, and learning process is categorized as a very good category, and the problem of learning process can be solve by student’s creativity.: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa masih terdapat indikator – indikator kemandirian dan atensi siswa yang rendah dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemandirian siswa (aspek percaya diri dan tanggung jawab), tingkat atensi siswa (aspek atensi berkelanjutan dan atensi eksekutif), hasil belajar kognitif, respon siswa, keterlaksanaan rencana pembelajaran, dan kendala-kendala pada proses pembelajaran. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Postest Design, dan analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa MA (Madrasah Aliyah) kelas X pada semester genap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kemandirian, tingkat atensi, dan tes hasil belajar siswa baik kelas putra ataupun kelas putri mengalami peningkatan. Respon siswa terkait pembelajaran menggunanakan Group Investigation terintegrasi Power Teaching juga mendapatkan respon yang baik, dan keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran tergolong pada kategori baik sekali. Kendala yang dihadapi hanya terkait pada pembuatan media presentasi, akan tetapi hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan kreatifitas masing – masing siswa dalam pembuatan media tersebut. Simpulan penelitian ini, bahwa metode pembelajaran Group Investigation terintegrasi Power Teaching dapat mempertahankan kemandirian, atensi, dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi ekosistem. Metode tersebut juga mendapatkan respon yang baik, dan keterlaksanaan  rencana pembelajaran yang juga tergolong baik sekali, serta kendala pembelajaran yang bisa diselesaikan dengan kreativitas siswa.

This study was aimed to find out how the application of Word Square learning model in class X SMK Pasundan 1 Serang City and to find out how the learning outcomes of students of class X SMK Pasundan 1 Serang City.This research used classroom action research method consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, execution, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class X SMK Pasundan 1 Serang City consisted of 44 students and subject teachers as a team of collaborator.The results of this study indicated that the Word Square learning model could improve the student learning outcome because in the first cycle, there were 72.73% students who could reach score above KKM. While in the second cycle all students could reach score above KKM.

This thesis is purposed at proving the effectiveness of cartoon videos in teaching speaking to the Eighth Grade Students of SMPN 2 Rantau Kalimantan Selatan in academic year of 2013/2014, and showing that there is a significant difference in speaking ability between the students who were taught by using cartoon videos and those who were taught by using conventional method. This study is an experimental research. The population of this study was the eighth grade students of SMPN 2 Rantau Kalimantan Selatan in academic year of 2013/2014 which consisted of seven classes. The total number of population was 158. There were two classes taken as the sample, Class VIII B serving as control class were taught by using conventional method, while class VIII F as the experimental class were taught by using cartoon videos. Class VIII B consisted of 22 students and class VIII F consisted of 22 students. Both classes were given the pre-test at the beginning and the post-test at the end after the treatment. The data were collected by using speaking test. The data were analyzed by using t-test computation, descriptive analysis, and inferential analysis. The research findings show that there is a significant difference in students’ speaking ability between the experimental group taught by using cartoon videos and those who were taught by using conventional method. The result of the pre-test shows that both groups are poor, while the post-test result shows that the experiment group is better than the control one. The mean score of the experimental class in pre-test was 42.50 and that of control class was 42.73. The mean score in post-test of the experimental class was 75.68 and that of the control class was 57.50. It can be seen that the mean score of the experimental class was higher than that of control class in post-test. Furthermore, based on the hypothesis testing, it could be seen that the value of -t obtained (-5.245) < - t table (-2.018), at the significant level 5%. This implied that there is a significant difference of students’ speaking ability between the students who were taught by using cartoon videos and those who were taught by using conventional method.

The learning process of physics at school, the topics is sometime less relatedto the existing dailylifephenomenon.This condition causes low improvement of students' cognitive learning result. In this case, it was a necessary to apply a learning model to improve student learning result by applying phenomenon based learning model (PhenoBL). Quasi experiment in the form of nonequivalent control group design as the model of the research. The instrument to collect data used test of student cognitive at pretest and posttest, respectively. The Data was analyzed by descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of descriptive analysis show the average absorption rate of experiment class is 71.05% and control class is 63.33% which both classes are in a good category. In the paired sample t-test results stated an increasing of students cognitive learning outcomes from pretest to posttest. This can also be seen from the inferential analysis in that means there was a significant differences between experimental class and kontrol class. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of PhenoBL model can improve student learning outcomes of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru on optical material.

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Cooperative script dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial (IPS) kelas VIII MTs Ash-shiddiqiyyah Cempaka. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen, populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa MTs Ash-shiddiqiyyah Cempaka yang berjumlah 80 orang dengan sampel 30 orang siswa yaitu 15 siswa kelompok kontrol yang diterapkan pada kelas VIII dan 15 siswa di kelompok eksperimen yang diterapkan pada kelas VII. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran tipe cooperative script dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas .MTs Ash-shiddiqiyyah Cempaka Kecamatan Plumbon kelompok kontrol mencapai kategori rendah dan hasil belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen mencapai nilai rata-rata kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran cooperative script memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Cooperative Script, Model Pembelajaran, Hasil Belajar   Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Cooperative script model in improving student learning outcomes in social science (IPS) class VIII MTs Ash-shiddiqiyyah Cempaka. This research approach uses a descriptive quantitative approach with the type of experimental research, the study population is all students of MTs Ash-shiddiqiyyah Cempaka, amounting to 80 people with a sample of 30 students namely 15 control group students applied to class VIII and 15 students in the experimental group applied to class VII. Data collection uses observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study there is an influence of the cooperative script type learning model in improving student learning outcomes class. MTs Ash-shiddiqiyyah Cempaka Subdistrict Plumbon control group reached the low category and the learning outcomes of the experimental group students reached the average value of the high category. Based on the results of data analysis, there are significant differences between the control group and the experimental group, so it can be concluded that cooperative script learning has an influence on student learning outcomes.
