The use of varied learning models by history teachers will facilitate teachers and students in implementing and following the learning process. This study aims to determine the learning process and the use of learning models used by history teachers. This study uses a qualitative methodology with an observation and interview approach conducted at two high schools, Dian Didaktika High School and SMA Negeri 2 Depok. From the results of the study it can be seen, that the history teacher at the two schools has carried out the learning process using a scientific approach. There is no difference in the selection of learning strategies, both of them use the contextual teaching learning model. The difference between the two is in the selection of learning methods, where the history teacher Dian Didaktika uses the method of learning project base learning and the history teacher of SMA Negeri 2 Depok uses a method of learning outside the classroom by visiting museums.

This writing aims to improve students' understanding by modifying learning models with appropriate learning strategies that are considered based on the characteristics and intellectual development of students to improve learning outcomes. The learning process in Indonesia is currently still centered on teachers which causes students' memory and understanding to be still low. This is the background for the purpose of mind mapping learning models, namely making patterned visual and graphical subject matter that can help strengthen and recall information that has been studied. The selection of the right learning strategy can improve the results that will be obtained from the application of learning models in the classroom. Forced and forced learning strategies are chosen to complement and perfect the implementation of mind mapping learning models in the classroom. This strategy aims to train students' independence and discipline in learning through assignments given with clear time limits and strict penalties if there are students not completing their assignments properly. The combination of mind mapping learning models with forced and task learning strategies can be an alternative to improve the quality of learning in schools. With the increase in thinking power accompanied by student discipline in learning, the learning process in the classroom will run well and get maximum results so that the objectives of the learning can be achieved. For educators it is recommended to implement mind mapping learning models with forced and forced learning strategies in schools, so that learning objectives can be achieved optimally.

ABSTRACT There are many students still doing errors or mistakes in learning English as a foreign language (EFL) in Indonesia. Therefore, it is very important to study error. The error itself has long been an interest among foreign language researchers. The main task of error is how to describe a learning which occurs by examining students' output. It consists of correct and incorrect utterances. In this case, there are two approaches to learning students' errors, namely error analysis (EA) and contrastive analysis (CA). This paper only explains how error analysis is important in the teaching-learning process. It has many advantages when it is learned. EA has been classified into four types: linguistics category taxonomy, surface strategy taxonomy, comparative taxonomy, and communicative effect taxonomy. This study found error as an important tool for teachers and students to observe students’ learning process and learning strategies. How to Cite: Irawansyah (2017). The selection and determination of appropriate learning strategies can improve the results to be obtained from the application of classroom learning models. This writing aims to discipline students to develop individual abilities of students to be more active in the learning process and improve the quality of learning. The learning process in Indonesia in general only uses conventional learning models that make students passive and undeveloped. In order for the quality of learning to increase, the Team Assisted Individualization learning model is combined with the task learning and forced strategies. The Team Assisted Individualization cooperative learning model is one of the cooperative learning models that combines learning individually and in groups. Meanwhile, task and forced learning strategies are strategies that focus on giving assignments that require students to complete them on time so that the learning process can run effectively. Students are required to do assignments according to the given deadline. This makes students become familiar with the tasks given by the teacher. Combining or modifying the learning model of the assisted individualization team with forced and forced learning strategies is expected to be able to make students more active, disciplined, independent, creative in learning and responsible for the tasks assigned. Therefore this method of incorporation is very necessary in the learning process and can be applied to improve the quality of learning in schools.

While countries are facing different stages in their COVID-19 infection rates, worldwide there are millions of students affected by universities’ facilities closures due to the pandemic. Some institutions have enforced strategies to transfer some courses to a virtual modality, but many Dental Schools have been challenged to deal with a situation which requires emergency measures to continue the academic course in the middle of lock-downs and social distancing measures. Despite the fact that the number of online academic programs available, especially graduate programs, has increased in diverse modalities, this pandemic forced e-learning processes to develop abruptly. The likelihood of using e-learning strategies in dentistry was substantiated in the scientific literature and an overview of these opportunities is presented. Additionally, the experience of the University of Costa Rica Faculty of Dentistry is presented, as it was evident that some of the key elements in a e-learning environment needed a quick enhancement and initiation of some processes was required. First, it was necessary to categorize the academic courses depending on their virtualization's possibility (curricula analysis and classification), to better understand the extent of the impact and the work needed to contain, as far as the possibilities allowed, negative consequences on students learning process. Second, teachers needed further training in the application of virtual strategies which they hadn’t used before. do Third, an evaluation of the students’ conditions and needs was conducted in a form of a survey. Finally, teachers and students activated the available virtual platforms. For many Dental Schools, this virtualization process is an ongoing progress although it was abruptly imposed, but this moment indeed represents an enormous opportunity to move forward and get immerse in the virtualization environment as a teaching/learning experience.

The study aims to analyze the learning process in the (online) network, supportive factors and teacher inhibitory factors in carrying out online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The study was carried out at muhammadiyah elementary school 2 the estimated shidoarjo city of sidoarjo in April. The study USES descriptive qualitative methods. The subject used in this study was an elementary school teacher at 2 tulangan elementary elementary school. The data-collection techniques used in this study include interviews, documentation and field notes. The result of this study is that the covid-19 pandemic has hada profound impact on the learning process, learning that is normally executed directly is now being transferred to online learning. Learners are bored and bored during learning. Online education done for primary-age children is less effective. A number of teacher factors in the online learning process are the availability of cell phones, quotas and a steady Internet network. In addition to supporting factors in online learning, there are several teacher inhibitors in online learning. These inhibiting factors include the fact that they are still at the elementary school level, so only a few students have cellphones, therefore this can make learning ineffective. Through online there are also obstacles that occur for teachers, namely many students who deliberately do not participate in online learning because they do not have an internet quota to access learning so that students are left behind. And there is also a learning strategy carried out by SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan. On the other hand, face-to-face online learning through applications is the most beneficial thing to break the spread of Covid-19 and maintain the mental health of teachers and students from exposure to the Covid-19 virus.

Learning strategies are the key tools to determine the approach for achieving the learning goal. They are included in different phases of teaching learning process. They are usually tied to the needs and interests of students to enhance their learning efficiency. This article aims at exploring perspectives and practices of learning strategies in learning English language. For this, phenomenological descriptive qualitative research was conducted with a class of 48 students of Bachelor in Education at a constituent campus, under Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Both the class of the students and campus were selected purposively to meet the requirement of phenomenological study. Thirty classes were observed as a participant as well as teacher and from the same group of the students only ten students were interviewed. Then, the data from both the sources were triangulated, interpreted and analyzed descriptively. From this study, it was interpreted that students employed various strategies to learn different language skills and aspects. The study revealed that students felt difficulty in selecting proper learning strategy for learning grammatical rules due to many exceptional cases and listening skill due to their less time devotion on it while the felt ease to select and employ proper strategies in learning vocabulary.
