The present paper investigated the possibility of progressive development of a society in the terms of transformation, in particular, by the ability of the educational community to the social cohesion to focus efforts on overcoming challenges of an unstable period of social development. The analysis was performed on the consolidation potential structure of the educational community; and factors of actualization and de-actualization of its potential were identified in order to clarify the conceptual apparatus of definitions «the educational community» and «the consolidation potential of the educational community».

A theoretical analysis of the works of domestic and foreign authors on the problem of determining the place and role of the social (solidarity) economy (SSE) organization in the modern world economic space is carried out. The essential features of social (solidary enterprises) are revealed. The SWOT analysis allowed us to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the SSE organizations. The differences between non-profit and market economy are shown. The essential features of cooperation as the main socio-economic institution of the SSE are considered. Mechanisms for reducing global poverty by cooperatives have been identified. The factors constraining the progressive development of cooperative enterprises in Russia are identified.

Like any private didactics the methodology of teaching foreign languages, has its own history, knowledge of which is necessary for understanding the main stages of development of the theory and practice of teaching, the variety of approaches and methods of teaching foreign languages in the modern world. This study aims to research the history of creating curricula, programs and textbooks on foreign language for universities of Kazakhstan. The research conducted a  Historical and pedagogical analysis which showed that foreign language teaching has its roots in the deep past, and played a huge role in the development of human society, since it determined the progress of the transferring the methodological experience and contributed to the social development of mankind. In “Integrating Social and Economic Development: Rationale, Models, and Limitations,” multiple levels of social and economic development are examined. In most nations, economic development is not well connected to social development, especially social welfare and social protections. This chapter explores more progressive development that offsets distorted development and its harms. Special attention is devoted to the well-being of the social entrepreneur and ecosystems of support. Integrative approaches are addressed, including conceptual frames, the leadership of the United Nations and its Sustainable Development Goals, and some of the academic disciplines that can contribute to more integrative thinking, approaches, policies, and research. Mechanisms for integration are discussed, along with attention to growth that promotes more inclusive economies.

The subject of this article is the phenomenon of alienation, which can be interpreted not only from the perspective of interrelation between labor and its outcome, but also in a much broader context. In social theory, the problem of alienation is one of the key in understanding of the mechanism of social development process. Social contradictions manifest through the processes of alienation; and vice versa, contradictions become apparent through the processes of alienation. This article traces the evolution of separate forms of alienation in historical retrospect. An attempt is made to determine the current state of the existing forms of economic, political, social and spiritual alienation in the Western and Russian societies. The author suggests the possible ways to overcome them. The novelty of this work lies in the author's attempt to examine the processes unfolding in modern world as a reflection of the processes of alienation and their modifications. The conclusion is made that if the contradictions are the source of development, the task of government representatives is to take control, manage and mitigate the internal processes of alienation in the society. With the advent of postindustrial era, the globalization processes altered the liberal model of social development. We can witness that capitalism ceases to be a formation that ensures progressive development. Humanity enters a transitional period of its history, similar to the Renaissance Era. Examination of the processes of alienation in the society would contribute to the proper response to challenges of the time.

Children and Virtual Reality — Some dilemas of EducationPossible responses to the extremely complex and delicate question of the influence that <virtual reality> exercises on the development of a child as a unique personality, on the child's psycho-social development and on the education of a child generally may be provided by serious research of a cohort sequential design, either in research programmes in the field of educational sciences or of other social disciplines. The present paper confronts some dilemmas of the modern world. Particularly those between the <traditional> educational values, <obsolete> families and schools and <progressive> education supplied (imposed) by virtual reality that promotes the social standardization of behaviour and the perception of values and of the world around us. The aggressiveness of the mass media in presenting <virtual reality> as <progressive> and without an <alternative> often results in a virtual life for a child, with virtual friends, education and even virtual families. In the time of developing technology, an important question arises: how to deal with such a situation. Do we direct young people to carefully select from what modern virtual reality has to offer and how do we do that?

Purpose What does it mean to be social? In addition, how is that different from behaving socially appropriately? The purpose of this clinical focus article is to tackle these two questions along with taking a deeper look into how communication challenges in childhood apraxia of speech impact social competencies for young children. Through the lens of early social development and social competency, this clinical focus article will explore how speech motor challenges can impact social development and what happens when young learners miss early opportunities to grow socially. While not the primary focus, the clinical focus article will touch upon lingering issues for individuals diagnosed with childhood apraxia of speech as they enter the school-aged years. Conclusion Finally, it will address some foundational aspects of intervention and offer ideas and suggestions for structuring therapy to address both speech and social goals.
