Guided inquiry learning encourages students to be more active in learning so that students' creative thinking skills can be developed. Guided inquiry learning model will assist students in empowering creative thinking skills. Creative thinking skills are described as mental activities that foster original ideas and new understandings. This study aimed to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on the creative thinking skills of Class X MA Miftahul Ulum Bettet Pamekasan. The population in the study were all students of class X MA Miftahul Ulum Bettet Pamekasan second semester 2020/2021, while the samples used were class X IPA B and IPA C. The experimental class and control class each consisted of 20 students. This research is a quantitative research with quasi-experimental research method with pretest posttest nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The results of this study indicated that guided inquiry has a significant effect on creative thinking skills. Guided inquiry learning model can be a reference in learning (especially in biology) to empower students' thinking skills.

<p>The purpose of this study is to obtain a profile of students’ creative thinking skills on quantitative project-based protein testing using local materials. Implementation of the research is using quasi-experimental method pre-test post-test control group design with 40 students involved in Biochemistry lab. The research instrument is pre-test and post-test using creative thinking skills in the form of description and students’ questionnaire. The analysis was performed with SPSS 22.0 program to see the significance normality, U Mann-Whitney test for nonparametric statistics, N-Gain score, and the percentage of student responses to the practicum performed. The research result shows that the pretest rate in the experimental group is 8.25 while in the control group is 6.90. After attending a project-based practicum with local materials, the experimental group obtained the mean of posttest is 37.55 while in control class is 11.18. The students’ improvement on creative thinking skills can be seen from the average of N-Gain in the experimental class with 0.32 (medium category) and in the control category with 0.05 (low category). The experimental and control class have different creative thinking skills significantly different fluency, flexibility, novelty, and detail. It can be concluded that quantitative project-based protein testing using local materials can improve students’ creative thinking skills. 71% of total students feel that quantitative project-based protein testing using local materials make them more creative in doing a practicum in the laboratory.</p>

This research using a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design using the pretest-posttest score test and creative thinking ability questionnaire. Research data was obtained through tests. The results a research show that (1) there was a significan influences a CrPS learning model on students 'creative thinking abilities, (2) there was the influence of the CPS learning model on students' thematic learning outcomes.</p><p class="Abstract"><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Tujuan penelian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar tematik yang diterapkan dengan model pembelajaran CrPS di kelas eksperimen serta siswa yang diterapkan dengan model konvensional di kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan <em>design quasi eksperimen </em>dengan rancangan <em>nonequivalent control group </em>dengan menggunakan nilai tes <em>pretest-posttest</em>. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes dan angket kemampuan berpikir kreatif. This research is aimed to determine the effect of guided-inquiry learning model using PhET simulation on creativity at SMAN 1 Tanjung of academic year 2019/2020. This research is quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research is all student of grade XI SMAN 1 Tanjung of academic year 2019/2020, while the sampling technique used purposive sampling, while the sampling are the student of grade XI MIPA 2 as the experimental group and the student of grade XI MIPA 1 as control group. Creativity data be measured on creativity test which the type test used 7 essay. The research hypothesis was tested using t-test independent. The result of t-test show that tobtained>ttable. It means that there is the effect of guided-inquiry learning model using PhET simulation on creativity at SMAN 1 Tanjung of academic year 2019/2020.

[EXPERIMENT OF ENZYME KINETICS USING GUIDED INQUIRY MODEL FOR ENHANCING CREATIVE THINGKING SKILLS] Purpose of this study was enhancing creative thinking skills of students using guided inquiry model through experiments of enzyme kinetics based on local materials. Method of this research was quasi-experimental methods, with pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Subjects of this study were chemistry students enrolled in biochemistry lab course, consisted of 18 students in the experimental class and 19 students in control class. Instrument in this study were essay test that involves 3 indikators of creative thinking  skills (i.e. fluency, flexibility, and elaboration) and also student worksheets. The results showed that the experiments of kinetics enzyme  using guided inquiry model have been enhance creative thinking skills in medium category with a value of N-gain average of 0.66. Two indikators classified in the high category are fluency and elaborationwith the value of N-gain 0,71. Meanwhile, indikator of flexibility in the medium category with a value of N-gain 0,56.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of using virtual laboratory in guided inquiry learning on students’ mastery concept of heat material.  This study is quasi experiments with posttest only control group design. There were 58 respondents in this study which were divided into two group; experimental group and control group. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The results showed that experimental groups’ mastery concepts significantly differed from the control group. It can be concluded that the use of virtual laboratory in guided inquiry learning model affects students’ mastery concepts of heat material.

The aim of this research is to know the process of applying inquiry model to the crative character of 5th grade students in science subjects in SDIT Al-Madinah Cibinong, and to know the influence of inquiry learning model on the creative character of 5th grade students in science subjects in SDIT Al-Madinah Cibinong. The approach used in this study is quantitative research with the type of quasi-experimental research, in this study the selection of samples on experimental quasi type Non Equivalent Control Group Design is not done random sample selection but deliberately selected by the researchers with each sample experiment class 21 Students and control class of 21 students. The instruments used in this research are: test, observation, questionnaire and documentation. The process of applying inquiry learning model in science subjects through six stages: Presenting questions or problems, Making hypotheses, Designing experiments, Conducting experiments to obtain information, Collecting data and analyzing data, and Making conclusions. Based on the research that has been done, the average post-test of the experimental class is 77.61 and the average post-test of the control class is 64.28 so that it is obtained -t arithmetic> -t table (-11.004> -2.086), it can It is concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes. Observational data resulted in average after applying experimental class learning 92,14, and average after applying of control class study 73,57 so that obtained-t arithmetic> -t table (-20,254> -2,086), hence can be concluded that there is A significant influence of the use of inquiry learning model to foster the creative character of the students. In addition the results of the experimental class questionnaire obtained an average of 32.38 and control classes 31.43 the number of scores in the range 30-36 that students in the experimental class and control classes have a high creative value in carrying out its duties. So it can be concluded that the influence of inquiry learning model to the creative character of students. So the application of inquiry learning model can influence the students' creative character in science subjects are said to be effective and there are significant changes or improvements. This inquiry learning model can be an alternative learning model that can be applied in the learning process.

The main goal of this study is to present the effectiveness improvement of student’s creative thinking skills using CBL implemented in STEM education and CBL combined with worksheet PSL. The STEM education perspective used in this study is a separate science discipline (Physics) that incorporates other disciplines. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research design. The research includes a pre-test-post test control group design. The subjects of the research consist of forty-five students in 10th grade of one of the vocational schools. The instrument used in this study is an essay test consisting of four questions with indicators of fluency, flexibility, and originality. The enhancement of students’ creative thinking skills is known by analyzing normalized gain (g) on the experimental group and control group. A non-parametric test and Cohen’s Kappa test were used to examine differences improvement of student’s creative thinking skills with the IBM Statistics SPSS 20.00 program at .05 significant levels. As a result of the research, it was found that CBL implemented in STEM education has a higher improvement for students of creative thinking skills than CBL combined with worksheet PSL. CBL implemented in STEM education also has a major impact on improvement of students’ creative thinking skills.

Problems in education have always been an essential issue in every country, including Indonesia. Almost all Indonesian students only master the lessons up to level 3 only. Meanwhile, many students from developed and developing countries have mastered lessons up to 4, 5, and even 6. The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) between the groups given the Trikaya Parisudha Learning Model (MPTP) and those given the Conventional Learning Model. (MPK). This research is a quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The research population is PGSD students in 7 classes. From the 7 classes, 4 classes were selected using random cluster sampling two classes as the experimental group and the other two classes as the control group. MPTP taught the experimental group. Meanwhile, the control group was taught with MPK. The methods used to collect data are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The instrument used to collect data is the observation sheet. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed differences in student HOTS between the group given MPTP and the group given MPK. There is a difference in Critical Thinking Skills between the group given MPTP and the group given MPK. There are differences in Creative Thinking Skills between the group receiving MPTP and the group receiving MPK. It can be concluded that the Trikaya Parisudha Learning Model can improve students' higher order thinking.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis untuk kelas kelompok dan klasikal; 2) perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan berfikir kritis antara kelas kelompok dan kelas klasikal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimen, dengan model pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 4 kelas dengan 120 siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kota Yogyakarta, sampel penelitian menggunakan 2 kelas yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas yang menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis guided inquiry model kelompok dan satu kelas lainnya sebagai kelas kontrol yaitu kelas dengan pembelajaran menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis guided inquiry model klasikal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes yang berupa tes keterampilan berfikir kritis. Teknis analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif menggunakan N-Gain dan secara statistik inferensial menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelas A dan Kelas B. Pada kelas VII A aspek memberikan penjelasan maupun membangun keterampilan dasar berada pada kategori sedang (0,58 dan 0,52). Sedangkan kelas VII B, pada aspek memberikan penjelasan berada pada kategori sedang (0,64) dan pada aspek membangun keterampilan dasar berada pada kategori tinggi (0,90). Kata kunci: Guided inquiry, Arduino, Berfikir Kritis   EFFECTIVENESS OF GUIDED INQUIRY LEARNING MODEL OF GROUP AND CLASS INVESTIGATION TO INCREASE CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS Abstract This study aims to know: 1) the improvement of critical thinking skills for groups and classical; 2) the difference of critical thinking skill increasing between group and class. The method used in this research was quasi experiment, with pretest-posttest control group design model. The population of this study were 4 classes (120) students in the 7th grade of Muhammadiyah 8 Yogyakarta Junior High School, the sample used 2 classes determined by proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. One class is an experimental class which implement guided inquiry based on group investigastion learning model and one other class is a control class that implement guided inquiry based on classical investigation learning model. Data was collecting by critical thinking skills test. Data were analyzed by descriptive techniques using N-Gain and inferential statistic using t-test. The results shown that there are the significant differences between class A and Class B. In class VII A, the aspects of giving the explanation and build the basic skill are in medium category (0,58 and 0,52). While class VII B, the aspect of giving the explanation is in the medium category (0.64) and aspect of building the basic skills is in high category (0.90). The main objective of this research is to produce junior high school Physics teaching materials oriented to a simple practical tool that can be used to foster junior high school students 'creative thinking skills, with the specific aim of knowing the indicators of junior high school students' creative thinking skills that can be grown through the use of a guided inquiry learning model assisted by a simple practicum tool. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with the design of Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Design (Design of Prates-Pascates Equivalent). This research was conducted at the Labschool Junior High School of Tadulako University where  the class VIII students being the research subjects. The research instrument used was an essay test and observation sheet. The data analysis technique used was quantitative data analyzed by inferential statistics, calculating the significance of the differences in the average of both groups of samples and qualitative data analyzed by using the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that a guided inquiry learning model assisted by a simple practicum tool could foster the creative thinking skills of the students of Labschool UNTAD Junior High School in the indicators of flexible thinking, fluent thinking and originality.
