Facts that have occurred in the learning process so far that are responsible in class V SDN 9 Labuan stillhave not provided an opportunity for students to develop creativity and critical thinking abilities of students, especially in learning Natural Sciences (IPA) about the subject of "Earth's Gravitational Force". It wasfound that almost all students did not dare to express their questions or opinions during the learningprocess. With the results of teaching experience at SDN Labuan 9 as stated above, especially the motivationand learning achievement of students is too low, so what is expected so far cannot be carried out optimally.Efforts made by the author to overcome this phenomenon, namely choosing "Problem Solving Method" inthe study of Natural Sciences (IPA) with the subject "Earth Gravitational Force", where the class isprocessed into small groups, and each small group asked to discuss the topic taught with the help of LKS(Student Worksheet) after observing the results of an experiment / demonstration conducted by each smallgroup

Today, some faculty members are trying to show students how to learn, not just teach them the subject matter. These faculty members believe that the acquisition of life-long learning skills will enhance a student's intellectual growth well beyond the semester's coursework. A typical active learning approach emphasizes the students' role in constructing knowledge by engaging in inquiry, critical thinking, and problem solving. The first part of this paper discusses what active learning is and why it is desirable; the second part suggests how to use two sided pedagogical approach, the A is for Analysis model (Taylor, 1998 ) and problem-based learning (Gallagher, 1997), to implement the concepts and help students recognize that context creates complexity. It is an experiential learning exercise that focuses on interpersonal relationships, goal conflicts, self awareness and social awareness of relationships.

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of natural surroundings as a source of learning science subjects. To explore this, a study was conducted using a qualitative approach. In this case, the subject of the study was one of the students who supported the subject who became the class teacher in class V, with a total of 28 students. The method used in data collection is the method of observation, documentation and interviews. To complete the accuracy of the research and the validity of the data it is necessary to use research methods and techniques in order to obtain maximum results. The results obtained from the study are: Utilization of the surrounding environment is a vehicle that can be used as a source of learning that is done in the form of variety and fun when the learning process takes place both in the classroom and outside the classroom. School parks, gardens, and rice fields that are nearby can be used as a source of interesting and fun learning. In implementing the use of the environment as a source of learning, there are obstacles between the lack of an educator's ability to condition learners, which requires a significant amount of time in the implementation process, students feel confused in reviewing the results of activities, and learning resources that are less accommodating.

The result of this research reveals that critical thinking skills possessed by the students in the pesantren has been developed through several learning approaches implemented during learning process in the pesantren. Among the approaches are critical awareness on the study of classical books (bahtsul masâil), discussion and debate in which students and teachers are equal in presenting ideas (cooperative and collaborative strategies are also embedded in this approach), and problem solving approach in which contextual issues are posed and solved. While creating students to be critical, such approaches were found to preserve students’ moral attitude to the teachers that has been skeptically seen will be deminished. DOI: 10.15408/tjems.v1i2.1265

This article exposes the tools of cooperative learning and brainstorming as a didactic strategy, in which teamwork, diversity, interaction between the students and feedback between them are promoted as the main source of learning. In professions related to the conservation and restoration of cultural assets, we work as a team, thus is fundamental that the students' training prepares them for this work reality and enables them to be part of and lead these teams, fostering cross-cutting skills such as communication effective, critical thinking, application and practical thinking among others. We will present the case of a teaching experience, in which cooperative learning is a fundamental tool to solve one of the practices of the subject “Introduction to the Conservation and Restoration of golds and polychromies” of the Degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Assets in Universitat Politècnica de València. The practice consists in the identification of manufacturing techniques, and focuses on the subsequent professionalization and comprehensive training of students. The results obtained from it show how peer learning is an effective, dynamic strategy with infinite possibilities.
