In order to study the role of English situational teaching in higher vocational colleges, based on information technology and artificial intelligence, this research combines with the needs of English teaching to construct a English situation teaching in higher vocational colleges with the support of 5G network technology and artificial intelligence. Moreover, this research builds a data processing model based on the system architecture diagram of cache placement, uses storage space and computing resources to save more backhaul link bandwidth, and adopts the “many to many” algorithm extended by the “one to many” algorithm, and uses the on-demand method to obtain scenario teaching data from the cloud. In addition, this research constructs the intermediate link of data processing, and uses 5G network transmission to solve the problem of data transmission speed. Finally, this study uses a controlled experiment to evaluate the effectiveness of the artificial intelligence teaching model constructed in this study. The research shows that the English situation teaching method based on 5G network technology and artificial intelligence in vocational colleges has a certain effect and can effectively improve the English scores of vocational college students.

Obesity is one of the major social and health problems globally and often associated with various other pathological conditions. In addition to unregulated eating behaviour, circulating peptide-mediated hormonal secretion and signaling pathways play a critical role in food intake induced obesity. Amongst the many peptides involved in the regulation of food-seeking behaviour, somatostatin (SST) is the one which plays a determinant role in the complex process of appetite. SST is involved in the regulation of release and secretion of other peptides, neuronal integrity, and hormonal regulation. Based on past and recent studies, SST might serve as a bridge between central and peripheral tissues with a significant impact on obesity-associated with food intake behaviour and energy expenditure. Here, we present a comprehensive review describing the role of SST in the modulation of multiple central and peripheral signaling molecules. In addition, we highlight recent progress and contribution of SST and its receptors in food-seeking behaviour, obesity (orexigenic), and satiety (anorexigenic) associated pathways and mechanism.


Due to revolutionary development in electronic and communication, mobile and handheld devices become the part of our daily life. As a result, volume of data traffic on Internet is increasing day by day. To provide unlimited, uninterrupted and content-rich services to these devices, the 5th Generation (5G) of network technology is emerged. 5G network can provide better Quality of Service (QoS) along with higher data rates than 4G network and have least latency. The paper appraisals various generations of wireless networks. Furthermore, it explores various challenges in implementation of 5G network and application areas of 5G network

AbstractThis essay adds to our knowledge of the Council of Ferrara-Florence (1431–1449) as a complex but significant instance of the many efforts to bring union to the divided Latin West and Byzantine East. In this paper, I explore the role of Augustine as an auctoritas at Ferrara-Florence, examining Juan de Torquemada's Apparatus Super Decretum Florentinum Unionis Graecorum (1441), a programmatic theological treatise written to represent the Latins’ theological perspective as expressed in Laetentur caeli (“Let the heavens rejoice”), the papal bull disseminated by Pope Eugenius IV on July 6, 1439. I argue that Torquemada's use of Augustine corroborates the otherwise circumstantial probability that he composed the Apparatus to explain the theological terms on which Eugenius IV and the Latin papalists declared union with Byzantine Christians and simultaneously to defend the bull against the doubts held among conciliarists and their sympathizers around Europe. Showing how Torquemada used Augustine in this conciliar document also adds greater clarity to the reception of Augustine at the Council of Ferrara-Florence. More specifically, it helps explain the utility of Augustine in Torquemada's attempt to adjudicate the relations between the Latin West and Byzantine East on the one hand and papalist and conciliarist Latins on the other.

The paper is an attempt to point out the problems faced by the new communist authorities in Yugoslavia in the years after the victory in the War and the Revolution in the process of emancipation and additional feminization of the teaching vocation, with particular emphasis on the period until the adoption of the General Law on Education (1958). Particular emphasis will be placed on policy analysis as well as concrete measures that have led to a different profile of the role of the teacher in the post-war society. On the one hand, it will highlight the concrete measures taken by the state to motivate as many women as possible to opt for the teaching job. On the other hand, they will point out the many problems faced by many teachers whose professional and professional qualities, in assessing the quality of their work, are not so infrequently subordinated to their ?moral characteristics?.

AbstractAs the “new rangeland paradigm” took shape in the 1990s, climatic variability in pastoral ecosystems was often discussed as “uncertainty”, and the essential mobility of pastoral systems was argued to be possible only with flexible land access rights. These context-specific principles have increasingly been globalized in analyses of diverse pastoral systems. While new understandings of the role of uncertainty and flexibility in pastoral systems have been unquestionably beneficial for particular contexts, uncertainty has been problematically embraced as intrinsically central to pastoral systems.This paper combines a critical review of the literature and field work in Tajikistan’s Rasht Valley to bring into clear relief differences between variability and uncertainty, on the one hand, and mobility and flexibility, on the other. This allows us to see that livestock mobility is a strategy to cope with environmental variability in all pastoral contexts. Flexibility, however, is a strategy to cope with environmental uncertainty that is only present in a subset of pastoral contexts. Importantly, flexibility is not a required precondition for mobility. These realizations carry important implications for governance in pastoral settings. Due to the many challenges of building flexibility into property systems, pastoral land governance should be developed by looking for predictability, and efforts to maintain flexibility should be judicious and empirically well-justified.

In recent years artificial intelligence has entered a new era, which gives rise to many hopes for powerful states such as the United States and China. In this paper, we analyze the importance and role of artificial intelligence in technological development in each of the two countries on the one hand, and its influence on China-American relations in terms of technological and geopolitical conflict. To get the right results, we rely on a literature review of dozens of articles published on the phenomenon in order to compare the power of artificial intelligence between the United States and China where we found that the US still has technological strength, especially in the field of artificial intelligence, but we can say that a large force is beginning pose a threat for it which is China that has great technological capabilities so, we can say that the United States should work more in this field. Also, we found that artificial intelligence has a primary goal in both countries, it helps China to achieve its ambitions to be the leader of the world, and this intelligence, on the other hand, provides protection and security to the United States. This paper is divided into three sections. The first section focuses on the importance of artificial intelligence in achieving China’s ambitions, the second section explains the role of artificial intelligence in the US protection service, and the third section describes the technological and geopolitical conflict resulting from the competition in artificial intelligence between these two countries. The impetuosity of the Sars-Covid 2 infection has been remarkable, quickly upsetting the habits of individuals in every seat of the planet. We can observe, on the one hand, the individuals, lost and called to redefine every area of their daily lives. On the other, the institutions that, seizing this loss, have been called to play their essential role of creating and strengthening social bonds. The Catholic Church has promoted respect for the norms, without renouncing a “religious offer” which seems to have responded to an effective demand for accompaniment with a lot of possibility to chose on line liturgical celebrations, with a multiplicity of forms and possibilities of access. Among the various options possible, it was decided to focus attention on a specific case: the case of the fraternity “Amici di Gesù Buon Pastore” (AGBP), which has experienced a significant increase in its followers in the days of lockdown. In particular, we will ask ourselves what so many spiritual-followers have been looking for and if (and how) this interest, born during the quarantine period, can transform the new forms of religious belonging into a context where the historical religions seem to be unattractive if compared to the many alternatives of spirituality present on the “market”.

- The goal of this paper is to analyse the famous Martin Scorsese's film Taxi Driver (1975) with an interdisciplinary approach and from a double perspective: on the one hand, it examines the narrator's forms of expression chiefly focusing on the written documents, the journal entries and the autobiographical references in the movie. I also consider the way the director uses these documents in order to trace the twisted psychology of the antihero Travis Bickle, the main character in the movie, played by Robert De Niro; on the other hand, this study investigates the film from an intertextual perspective, centering on how the filmic ‘text' uses the many other ‘texts' to which it constantly alludes: literary texts (among the others, Fyodor Dostoevsky's Notes from Underground and Thomas Wolfe's God's Lonely Man), cinematic texts (for instance, Orson Welles's Citizen Kane and John Ford's The Searchers), musical texts (songs by Kris Kristofferson and Jackson Browne), or, in some cases, even facts from real life (for example, the attempted assassinations of prominent politicians), not to mention the many autobiographical clues disseminated in the film by screenwriter Paul Schrader, director Martin Scorsese and even by Robert De Niro himself, through his peculiar performance. The result is a compound structured film which makes use of sophisticated narrative and expressive modes. A film not only inspired by its sources but also able, in its turn, to influence the work of other filmmakers and, paradoxically enough, even to affect real life: it's the case of John Hinckley jr who, obsessioned by Taxi Driver, attempted to assassinate U.S. President Ronald Reagan in an effort to impress actress Jodie Foster, who had played the role of an underage prostitute in the film. All these aspects, together with its unquestionable technical qualities, make Taxi Driver one of the most significant films of a golden age for American filmmaking.

In The Black Box Society, Frank Pasquale develops a critique of asymmetrical power: corporations’ secrecy is highly valued by legal orders, but persons’ privacy is continually invaded by these corporations. This response proceeds in three stages. I first highlight important contributions of The Black Box Society to our understanding of political and legal relationships between persons and corporations. I then critique a key metaphor in the book (the one-way mirror, Pasquale’s image of asymmetrical surveillance), and the role of transparency and ‘watchdogging’ in its primary policy prescriptions. I then propose ‘relational selfhood’ as an important new way of theorizing interdependence in an era of artificial intelligence and Big Data, and promoting optimal policies in these spheres.

Abstract Background Merging modern technologies with classic diagnostic tests often results in a sense of insecurity within the medical community, particularly so with potentially life-saving studies such as the electrocardiogram (EKG). In order to provide a greater sense of trust between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cardiologists, we provide an AI-driven algorithm capable of accurately and reliably characterize an EKG as normal within a highly complex, cardiologist-reviewed EKG database and report the degree of concordance between this machine vs physician scenario. Purpose To provide a dependable and accurate AI algorithm that conducts EKG interpretation in a cardiologist-tier manner. Methods The International Telemedical System (ITMS) developed and tested an EKG assessing AI algorithm and incorporated it into the workflow of their Telemedicine Integrated Platform, a digital EKG reading program where cardiologists continuously report their findings remotely in real-time. During the month of April 2,019; 35 ITMS cardiologists reported a grand total of 61,441 EKG records, later submitting them to the AI algorithm implemented through the “One Click Report” process. Through this simple 2-step approach, the algorithm provides a suggestion of “Normal” or “Abnormal” to the cardiologist based on the patterns of the fiducial points included in said EKG reports. Confirmation of these suggestions by the cardiologists ensued. Results Overall, cardiologists confirmed 23,213 out of 25,013 AI outputs for “Normal” EKGs, demonstrating a concordance of 92.8% for Normal diagnosis. Conclusion Through this methodology, we provide an AI technology that can be reliably applied and trusted in EKG digital platforms to identify and suitably label a normal EKG. Further testing will accrue into a multi label algorithm compatible with abnormal cardiovascular entities, potentially precluding the role of the cardiologist for triaging, particularly in the prehospital setting. We anticipate that this approach will become a promising methodology in modern cardiology practice. Funding Acknowledgement Type of funding source: None
