Digital printing has been playing a more and more important role in printing industry for its convenient production and quick turnaround. By experimental method, the differences of digital prints with different paper were detail analyzed, includes different base weight papers of the same category, and different categories papers with the same base weight. Results showed that the printing quality of offset paper with 120 g/m2base weight was better than that of 100 g/m2, and that printing quality of art paper was better than matt art paper with the same base weight. Other characteristics of different papers were investigated too. The method and conclusion provides in this paper would be helpful for choosing appropriate material for production activities.

In this study we present a new framework to assess line micro quality of multicolor prints adapted to a low-cost image quality analysis system based on common flatbed scanner. The contribution elements including quality metrics, measurement principle, applying methods and detection instrument, which were complemented and sorted in terms of ISO 13660 standard, were described and a case experiment was conducted to survey the output performance of both inkjet printer and xerographic printer, two most popular digital printing technologies. Their qualities were compared in details rendering angle such as width and straightness of line, raggedness and blurriness in line edges, as well as darkness and contrast in color. The results verify the efficiency and shortcomings of the framework. Meanwhile, the metric values let us take an investigation in the character of each digital printing technology in micron size.

Pretreatment solution which was obtained by many experiments who had a good printing effect was used to do the digital printing experiment on the cashmere fabric. Printing performance of the cashmere fabric in different pH value was compared to improve the printing quality of the cashmere fabric. Digital printing experiments in the alkaline environment were carried out for the first time and the best pH value was found out which could ensure dye uptake, color fastness, anti-seepage property and minimal damage to cashmere fabric. The paper provided basic reference to the actual production.

Analysis of known methods and modern equipment for printing and publishing (sheet rotary machines, roll machines, flat-printing and platen machines for flat impression block, relief, intaglio and digital printing) is conducted in this article. In a result of the analysis article authors have to make a conclusion, that most prospective equipment for automated printing and publishing complexes are: high-performance sheet and roll machines, in that number crucible, flatbed and rotary three-cylinder machines and also single-layer and multi-layer sectional machines, digital laser and inkjet machines. Authors propose a mathematical model of an automated optimization system of functioning of modern printing and publishing companies. In the model are used databases with information about orders (quantity, volumes, content, terms of orders fulfillment, admissible prime value and characteristics of quality of finished products), production capacities of printing and publishing enterprises of the region (destination, quantity and productivity of equipment, its technological capabilities, loading with other orders, service life), as well as additional data about value of transportation and storage of ready products, the possibility and feasibility of transferring orders to other enterprises and more. The elaborated model can be used as a basis for creation of a computer program for automated synthesis and analysis of functioning optimization of modern printing and publishing companies in the region to improve their efficiency, as well as for help customers of printing products in selection of optimal variants of orders fulfillment. The modeling results will allow to rationalize the utilization of enterprises capacity, to reduce the value of finished products, to ensure their proper quality, to avoid of disruptions during of peak periods of enterprises loading, to reduce the value of repair and maintenance of the complex equipment.

The quality of ink-jet printing depends to a large extent on the technical characteristics of the selected equipment and the surface properties of the printed substrates. It is known that for digital printing it is necessary to use expensive paper with a special coating that determines the degree of gloss of the surface. Therefore, ordinary offset papers before ink-jet printing are covered with primers that ensure good fixation of pigment ink or dye on paper, a wide field of color coverage, characteristic gloss, which generally contribute to high quality of imprints. As you can see, the type of the substrate and the state of its surface has a very great influence on the quality of the imprints. Result of the research, it has been confirmed that not only expensive paper of a special purpose can be used for a drop ink-jet digital printing. High-quality color imprints can also be obtained on ordinary offset and coated paper, coated before printing with special primers based on interpolymeric complexes of polyvinyl alcohol, which will provide sufficient optical density, contrast of images, and expand the possibilities of digital ink-jet printing.

IbM to be performed aims to help partners in theproduction and marketing of business partners.Another goal is to help partners to improvecompetitiveness, so that the company'scompetitiveness can be improved, it needs someimprovement and development to be done bypartners, such as fixing the production process, product design and the addition of media onlinemarketing with others and collaborate with otherparties. This is because the company'scompetitors are already using more advancedtechnology, while the partners are still usingsimple technology (manual). so the quality of theproduct is less good and less attractive. In orderto increase competitiveness and sales, thecompany needs to improve its product design andthe use of digital printing in the screen printingproducts (T-shirts). While com-petitors are alreadyusing advanced techno-logies.For businessdevelopment and to en-hance competitiveness, the company partners should immediately use amore sophisticated production equipment so thatproduct quality could be better. In addition theuse of sophis-ticated equipment can producemore output so that the production cost can bereduced. Creation of new digital technologies let automate the reproduction of text and graphic information, led to the creation and development of the digital printing. Digital printing is a technology for producing prints in the printer based on the original layout, created as corresponding codes with a computer. One of the technologies of digital printing is a computer-to-press and one of the devices in this direction is risograph. The risograph printing quality is worse than offset printing. The text is printing with medium sharpness and images remind photos in old newspapers and require special preparation. But risograph is the most profitable solution for small and medium circulations from 50 up to 1000 sheets. Wide usage of risograph printing in typographies demands increase performance of the equipment with the high print quality of digital images. To improve the quality of risographic printing, the creation of methods is required to form the initial indicators of the original layout (clarity, correct transmission of halftones, contrast). At the same time, the result of obtaining high-quality images obtained by printing on a risograph is affected by surface microgeometry and the physical and mechanical properties of paper. So, the optical density of the ink layer on the print is largely determined by the structure of the sections of paper, in particular, absorbency and porosity. To obtain high-quality images on prints, it is necessary not only to customize the original layout, but also to select paper with such characteristics that would allow you to get the best result when printing on a risograph. Since the risograph occupies an intermediate place in quality between copying equipment and laser printing, a laser print is taken as the standard for print quality. And one of the tasks of the quality of risographic prints is to increase it to the quality of laser printing.
