The article deals with the specifics of religion as a regulator of relations in society and family. The analysis of the actualization of Christian family values and the form of their implementation on the example of the Church "New Generation", in the conditions of the revival of religious life and the development of Ukraine as a polyconfessional state is analyzed. Shown is the change in the role of the church and the extent of the impact of Christian values on the social in the regional dimension, as well as those social problems that the church should deal with. It turns out that the crisis of a modern family prompts Christian denominations to react to the existing state of affairs. This forms a confessional specificity in understanding the roots and ways of solving the problems of society. Charismatic churches today are characterized by increasing recognition, increasing tolerance in society, deepening of institutionalizing change, and the formation of their own theology. They function in the Ukrainian society and cause more or less influence on different components of society. Charismatics do not have a single center or doctrine, so the purpose of this article is to clarify the peculiarities of actualization of Christian family values and the specifics of their implementation in the theology and activities of the charismatic Church "The New Generation"). The task of the article is to determine the specifics of theological understanding, the main forms of the practical solution of the charismatic Church "New Generation" of those problems that exist in the Ukrainian society and are related to the family as a primary collective. Another task is to investigate the influence of the church's role on marriage relations and the family in the region. It is stated that the theological basis of the Church "The New Generation" is in the dynamics of formation, based on the general religious principles of Christianity in general and Protestantism in particular. The Christian system of values has a theistic-objectivist character for them. The Protestant principle of "Soli Deo gloria" ("only God's glory") laid the foundation for the formation of the family values of carismatic spirituality carriers. The charismatic church as an institution reacts to constant changes in all spheres of society's life. It becomes mobile, open to change, modernizes, and tests various forms of solving relevant social problems associated with the family. The charismatic church's position on marriage is serious and well-considered. In the ecclesiastical environment, a series of seminars devoted to family and marriage issues have been developed, and preventive and spiritual work is being conducted on the prevention of hasty marriages. The region's statistics indicate positive changes towards strengthening the family's institute, reducing the number of divorces, and so on. Such indicators allow us to speak about the positive influence of the activity of the charismatic Church "The New Generation" on church parishioners, on the situation in the city and the region, as the "New Generation" subsidiary churches are located throughout the region. This testifies to the effectiveness of the practical activities of the charismatic Church "New Generation" in the region and the desire to extend its experience to other regions of Ukraine. The results of the research can be used in religious studies courses, in particular in the teaching of disciplines related to the study of Christian and non-Christian trends, the specifics of new religious movements, as well as for state bodies, with the aim of improving the state-confessional relations and harmonizing social work with the population.

The Catholic Church observes the year 1994 as International Year of the Family in accordance to the announcement made by the United Nations. For this reason it is proper to talk over the obligations and the rights which a family exercises in a secular society and in the Curch. These rights and obligations are contained and treated in the following postconciliar documents of the Church: 1. The Encyclical Humanae Vitae, 1968; 2. The Adhortation Familiaris Consortio, 1981; 3. The Codex of Canon Law, 1983; 4. The Charter of the Family Right, 1983; 5. The Adhortation Christifideles Laici, 1988. Propagating of the family rights and obligations is necessary in view of the situation of the contemporary family, encountered by a multiple crisis. Calling in question of the sense of the family, the mentality adverse to life, and divorces are the most severe indications of that crisis. The basic right and obligation of a family is its service to the life itself, expressed in the procreating and upbringing of children. Doing this, a family needs protection and support from a civil authority which ought to maintain the appropriate policy favourable for the family and its development. A Christian family, sacramentally incorporated into the organism of the Universal Church, constitutes a „Home Church” and participates in Christ’s triple mission: prophetic-evangelizing, priestly-santifying and royal-apostolic. The family is a subject of the Church’s constant pastoral care.

The moral crisis in Christian families due to globalization has resulted in the loss of the function of the Christian family in society. This results in the shift in family values to be replaced by individualist, consumerist, and hedonistic values. This article describes the concept of family (hausetafel) in the letters of Ephesians and Colossians. The author uses a historical socio interpretation, to search for and find the meaning of the two epistles. The results of the interpretation show that the two epistles are very rich related to family and moral values (character). The meaning cannot be separated from its socio-historical and cultural context. Some of the values contained include the revelation of Christ in and through the family, love as the basis for binding family members, the family as a basis for character education, equality relations. The family image becomes a model for church life.

This paper x-rayed in a very precise form the theology of miracle healing and prosperity message expounded by the preachers of the new generation churches in Nigeria. Since however, this title is a bit too vast and ambitious for the limited scope and time of the discourse, the paper, therefore, investigated the salient issues involved in the theology of miracle healing and prosperity message as expounded by the preachers of the new generation churches in the south-east of Nigeria; though south-east/Igboland and Nigeria are used interchangeably. It also investigated how the theology amongst other factors has occasioned the proliferations of new religious movements in Nigeria. Other issues that are connected to the growth of the new religious movements in Nigeria and Igboland in particular examined in this study included the African’s quest for power, cultural identity, ethnic identity, health, and economic emancipation. The purpose of this study is to x-ray the impact of prosperity preaching and quest for miracle in the new religious movements in Nigeria. The findings showed that the import of the new religious movements in Nigeria is occasioned by the excesses of the colonial and missionary overlords in the pre-colonial Nigeria. Findings also indicated that the new religious movements came to fore in Nigeria as a religion of the oppressed in the cultural, social, religious and political spheres. It was developed as a rescue mission to the already degraded religion and tradition of the people. The methods of approach include historical and phenomenological methods. The study however recommends the theology of prosperity and miracle healing as a correct and sound teaching for not just the new religious movements but for all Christian churches in Nigeria. The study equally advocates that it would not be expounded beyond proportion so that the church would not be reduced to a mere miracle centers.

Ukrainian national pedagogy has always been based on the organic combination of national and Christian ideals. Christian humanity was the norm of interpersonal, interethnic, and everyday social existence of our people. The modern Ukrainian society needs spiritual improvement, which is obviously, according to the author, only in the interaction of four fundamental factors: the state, the Church, the system of education and the family. The features of Ukrainian spirituality and mental characteristics were the object of research by M.Kostomarov, V.Antonovich. P. Kulis, T. Shevchenko, M. Hrushevsky. I.Franko, V.Lipinsky, O.Kulchytsky, G.Vaschenko, A.Richinsky and V.Yaniva. Today it is right to recall the words of the outstanding Ukrainian teacher G.Vaschenko, who insisted, first of all, on the implementation of the principle of educational education, which should follow the slogan "service to God and the Motherland", and therefore it is necessary to ensure the unity of national and Christian ideals in the present titular nation [Vashchenko P General principles teaching. In 4 parts - Munich: B.V., 1948. - 4.1. - 285 s.]. The bitter prophecy is the saying of the Ukrainian enlightener A.Richinsky: "The result of spiritual fatigue is that the life of the people becomes too materialistic. With the decline of national shrines and unifying ideology, everyone cares only about the private interest, the provision of material well-being, feeling already impotent to dream of the higher ideals of the nation "[Rychinsky A. Problems of Ukrainian religious consciousness. - Ternopil, 2002].

Síntese: Mais do que o Sínodo de 2014, também sobre a família, o Sínodo de 2015 provocou expectativas. Mas estas se desfizeram rapidamente. Mesmo no âmbito eclesial o impacto parece ter sido menor do que o devido. Daí a razão destes “Ecos”. Discernimento. Acolhida.Abstract: More than the 2014 Synod, that was also about the family, the 2015 Synod created many expectations. But these quickly faded away. Even in the ecclesial area the impact seems to have been smaller than it should have been. Hence the reason for these “Echoes”. Although differences and some tension have arisen at first, they gradually dwindled and offered as its greatest gain not a text, but a new church context. With skill, far from legalistic casuistry, challenges of a familiar ministry were presented. Listen, discern, evangelize were three key words to strengthen the friendly face of the Church, precisely for those who feel more distressed and marginalized even by the ministers themselves. Not everything has been said, but one thing became evident: with this Synod, the Family Ministry can receive a new impetus, as long as the document is read with intelligence and openness. Keywords: Family Ministry. The family is one of the most basic, yet important gifts that God has given us. The Christian family constitutes a specific revelation on the interior life of God in the Divine Trinity and realization of ecclesial communion, and for this reason it can and should be called the domestic Church, agent and object of the work of evangelization in service to the Kingdom of God. This article presents an evolution of the concept of domestic Church and tries to indicate its future perspectives. It highlights the many deep ties that bind the Church and the Christian family and establish the family as a domestic Church - “Church in miniature”, so that in its own way the family is a living image/icon and historical representation of the mystery of Church. The little domestic Church, like the greater Church, needs to be constantly and intensely evangelized, which becomes the shared responsibility of all God’s people, each according to his ministry and charism. Without the joyous testimony of married people and families, domestic churches, proclamation, even if done in its proper way, risks being misunderstood or lost in a flurry of words that is characteristic of society today. Catholic families today can build up their own domestic churches and strive to be “islands of Christian life in an unbelieving world” (Catechismo della Chiesa Cattolica 1992, 1655).It should be emphasized that the Church's pastoral intervention in support of the family is an urgent matter. Every effort should be made to strengthen and develop pastoral care for the family, which should be treated as a real matter of priority, in the certainty that future evangelization depends largely on the domestic Church (Giovanni Paolo II. 1981, 65).

The article deals with the problem that arose in the collision of globalisation processes in economics, finance, politics and traditional social institutions, primarily the family. The authors come to the conclusion that the issue of preserving traditional family values, which are the basis and condition for existence and successful development for all peoples living in Russia, acquires a special role. The greatest public resonance is the issue of traditional and “non-traditional” concepts of the family, which actualises the problem of legal protection of traditional family values in Russia. The 2020 constitutional amendments are analysed.

The article analyzes the beliefs and practical activities of synthetic neo-religions on issues of family, marriage, marital life, children’s education, attitude to parents, etc. In particular, the position of Baha'i Faith, Unification Church and Church of Scientology is considered. The peculiarity of this research is the complex analysis of the doctrine and practice of these neo-religious movements and finding of common aspects in their views on family values, both among themselves and with traditional religions. It emphasizes their syncretism  and refute the available warning in society about the destructive influence of neo-religions’ beliefs on established family values. In the teaching of the Unification Church, the issue of the family, marital relations, holiness and purity of marital ties, the inadmissibility of premarital and extra-marital relations occupy one of the central places. In the doctrine of the Baha'i Faith, the vital importance is given to the institution of the family. It emphasizes the sanctity of marriage, the equality of men and women in their rights, privileges, upbringing and social status. The Baha'i recognize the principle of equal rights, opportunities and privileges for men and women, the requirement of monogamy and marital fidelity. In the teaching of the Church of Scientology, the family is regarded as an important bricks of society: the biological model of family relationships and the development of an organism is that ensures the continuation of human existence. Marriage is the basis of a family. The family is the closest union in a society, which provides itself for the continuation of own existence and own protection. The family is also necessary for the society by an economic point of view. According to Scientologists, the whole culture will perish if its foundation - the family - will cease to exist. Thus, in their opinion, there is no doubt that the one who destroys the marriage union also destroys civilization. It is emphasized that despite the claims of these religious organizations to the exclusivity and authority of their own religious sources, their positions on family values are quite similar to each other. Also they often overlap with the principles of Christianity and other world religions. The author draws attention to the lack of awareness of the general public with the basics of dogma of the Baha'i Faith, the Unification Church and the Church of Scientology. As a result, there is a fear in society about the spread of doctrines of synthetic neo-religions, despite the fact that their positions on family values do not contradict the generally accepted norms of social morality and mostly accord with them.
