Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran tutor sebaya lebih tinggi dari pada pembelajaran konvensional  pada materi statistika pada siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Susoh, Aceh, Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah true eksperimen design dengan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Proses pembelajaran pada kelompok eksperimen dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran tutor sebaya dan kelompok kontrol dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Susoh yang berjumlah 62 orang siswa, sedangkan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 41 orang yaitu kelas eksperiment 20 siswa dan kelas control 21 siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperiment dengan design pretest-posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang dilakukan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, sedang teknik analisis data digunakan adalah menggunakan uji non parametris Mann-Whitney U-Test. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai < , (-4,88 < 1,645), maka ditolak dan  diterima. Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa “Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran tutor sebaya lebih tinggi dari pada pembelajaran konvesional pada materi statistika kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Susoh”. Kata Kunci :Hasil Belajar, Statistika, Model Pembelajaran Tutor Sebaya This research is intended to see the students learning improvement by implementing peer tutorial at the VIII grade student at one of Junior High School in Susoh, Aceh, Indonesia. This research was a true experimental design with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The learning process in the experimental group was by applying the peer tutoring learning model and the control group was by applying conventional learning. The population in this study was all students of class VIII with the total number 62 students, while the number of samples in this study was 41 students, 20 students in experimental class and 21 student in control class. Tests were used to collect the data, to analyze the data, the researchers used the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U-Test. The finding of the hypothesis showed that Z count < Z table (-4 , 88 <1,645), was rejected and  was accepted. Therefore it can be concluded that the implementation of peer tutoring learning models is higher than conventional learning at class VIII Junior High Schools, Susoh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan hasil belajar antara menggunakan model pembelajaran Example And Non Example dan model pembelajaran konvensional kelas VII di SMP Negeri 5 Tejakula, (2) Untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pengaruh model pembelajaran Example And Non Example terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 5 Tejakula. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Post Test Only With Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur ranah kognitif. Data hasil belajar dianalisis melalui uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas dengan hasil 2 kelompok berdistribusi normal dan homogen, dilanjutkan dengan uji hipotesis yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran Example And Non Example dan konvensional. Sedangkan untuk respon menggunakan metode angket. Hasil analisis angket model Example And Non Example diketahui 94% respon sangat positif, 6% respon positif dan tidak ada siswa yang memiliki respon cukup positif. Kind of this research was quasi experiment by Post Test Only with Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The data accumulation done by multiple choice tests to measured cognitive domain and skill test to psychomotor domain. The students’ result study analyzed by prerequisite test was normality test and homogeneity by the result of the two group which normal distribution and homogeneous, continued by hypothesis it means there are significant influenced in the used of Example And Non Example, and conventional. Meanwhile, the respond of used questionnaire method, the result of Example And Non Example questionnaire known 94% very positive responses, 5% positive responses and there are students have a sufficient positive responses.keyword : Example And Non Example, the study result, students’ respond

Abstract: This study aims to compare the Mind Mapping and ARIAS learning models (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction) to the understanding of physics concepts in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Bukit Kemuning. This study is a Quasi Experiment Design with research villages using the Pretest-Posttest Design Control Group. The selection of samples using Purposive Sampling techniques. The research samples were experimental class I (VIII 4) which applied the Mind Mapping learning model and experimental class II (VIII 6) which applied the ARIAS learning model (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction). Data collection instruments used were test instruments for understanding concepts (pretest and posttest) with essay questions. Based on the research results that have been calculated by the t-test with a significant level of α = 0.05 (5%) that tcount = 1.725 and ttable = 1.708 which indicates that tcount> ttable, to obtain conclusions Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected which means there is a comparison of models Mind Mapping and ARIAS on understanding the concepts of physics of students in SMP Negeri 1 Bukit KemuningAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan ARIAS(Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction) terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Bukit Kemuning. Penelitian ini merupakan Quasi EksperimentDesign dengan desain penelitian menggunakan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik Sampling Purposive. Sampel penelitian yakni kelas eksperimen I (VIII 4) yang diterapkan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan kelas eksperimen II (VIII 6) yang diterapkan  model pembelajaran ARIAS(Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu instrumen tes untuk pemahaman konsep (pretest dan posttest) dengan bentuk soal essai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dihitung dengan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 (5%) bahwa thitung = 1,725 dan ttabel = 1,708 yang menunjukkan bahwa thitung> ttabel , sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak yang artinya terdapat perbandingan model Mind Mapping dan ARIAS terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Bukit Kemuning

The STAD cooperative learning model can support active, independent and responsible learning for students. The application of this model is expected to improve students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills using Edmodo-assisted learning models. Edmodo was modified to become a teacher tool to expand learning at home. This research is an experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design involving 39 students of class VIII MTs At-Taqwa Beru, Sikka, East Nusa Tenggara. Based on the results of the study it was found that the Edmodo-assisted STAD type cooperative learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Tujuan  penelitian  ini  adalah  untuk  mengetahui  ada  tidaknya  pengaruh  model pembelajaran  Cooperative  Learning  Tipe CORE  (Connect,  Organize,  Reflect,  Extend) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri  6  Mataram.  Penelitian  ini  merupakan  penelitian  Quasi Eksperimen dengan nonequivalen control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah test bentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 30 item untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir  kritis peserta  didik. Data hasil kemampuan berpikir krtis peserta didik diambil  menggunakan   test  pilihan  ganda  yang  sudah  memenuhi  persyaratan instrumen penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahw a  (3,306) > (1,960)  pada taraf signifikan 5%, artinya hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahw a ada pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative learning Tipe CORE (connect, organize, reflect,  extend)  terhadap  kemampuan  berpikir  kritis peserta  didik  pada  mata  pelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri 6 Mataram. AbstractThe aim of this study is to know  the impact of Cooperative Learning  Strategy CORE type (Connect, Organize, Reflect, and Extend) tow ard the students’ critical thinking  on the Civics subject  in Junior High School; SMPN 6 Mataram. This research is a Quasi Experiment w ith non-equivalent control group design. This research is a quasy experiment which aimed to finding out the effect of contextual learning model implementation assisted by media flash on the understanding concept of physics in SMPN 1 Labuapi. The population is all class VIII which filled by 117 students, while the sample of this research is class VIII B with 23 students as experiment group and grade VIII C with 23 students as control group. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research design used is nonequivalent control group design. The hypothesis is tested by t-test separated varians. Based on by calculation hypothesis testing obtained that there is a difference of understanding concept of physics between experiment group which is given treatment with contextual learning model assisted by media flash and control group which is given treatment as convensional learning. The mean of the posttest for experiment group is greater than control group, so it can be obtained that contextual learning model assisted by media flash given positive result for understanding concept of physics in grade VIII SMPN 1 Labuapi. N-gain test given that for all of sub materi of light showed that the increasing of understanding concept of physics of class experiment is higher than control class, so it can be obtained that the increasing of understanding concept of physics of experiment group is higher than control group.

This research is based on the problems that exist in Batusangkar 1 Junior High School, namely the learning model that is less varied, student learning abilities are still low, teacher-centered learning. The effort that can be done is to apply the snowball throwing learning model with scientific literacy in the material of Excretion System at Batusangkar 1 Junior High School. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the snowball throwing learning model containing scientific literacy on the learning competencies of class VIII students of Batusangkar 1 Junior High School. This study was an experimental study with a randomized posttest control group design. The study population was grade VIII students of SMPN 1Batusangkar in the academic year 2018/2019 which spread to nine classes. The research sample was taken using cluster random sampling. The results were selected class VIII.3 as the experimental class and class VIII.4 as the control class. The hypothesis in this study was tested using the t-test. The results of the study using the t-test can be concluded that the competency of student knowledge about the value of tcount 4.31> ttable 1.67, in the attitude of competency the tcount 5.41> ttable 1.67, and competency skills tcount 3.85> ttable 1.67. This shows that the hypothesis is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the application of the snowball throwing model with scientific literacy can improve the competency of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class VIII Batusangkar 1 Junior High School.

ABSTRACT :  THE EFFECTIVITY OF SELF-REGULATED LEARNING TRAINING TO INCREASE THE STUDENT’S MATHEMATICS ACHIEVEMENT OF MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH “X” SLEMAN This research aimed to determine the effectivity of Self-Regulated Learning training to  increase the student’s mathematics achievement. Subject in this research were 27 student of  class VIII MTs " X " Sleman, which were divided into 14 students as the experimental group and 13 students as the control group. The data was collected using a test of mathematics achievement, mathematic self efficacy scale, interview and observation. The  research design used was pre post control group design. Analysis of the study were  quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis using the Mann-Whitney test to  determine mathematics achievement after the self regulated training given. The  qualitative analysis was done based on observation, interviews and worksheets. The results  of this study shows there was increased mathematics  achievement after training given (Z = -4.189, p < 0.05). The results of this study imply for the importance of developing self regulated learning skills in improving learning achievementKeywords: Self-regulated Learning Training, Mathematics  Achievement,  Islamic Junior High School Student. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan Self-Regulated Learning untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika. Subjek dalam penelitian ini  adalah 27 siswa kelas VIII MTs “X” Sleman, yang dibagi menjadi 14 siswa sebagai kelompok  eksperimen dan 13 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan  menggunakan tes prestasi matematika dan skala efikasi diri matematika, wawancara dan  observasi. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre post control group design. Analisis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Analisis kuantitatif  dengan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney  untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar matematika  siswa setelah diberi pelatihan  Self-Regulated Learning.  Analisis kualitatif dilakukan  berdasarkan observasi, wawancara dan lembar kerja. Hasil penelitian yaitu pada prates dan  pascates prestasi belajar matematika menunjukkan ada peningkatan setelah diberi pelatihan (Z= -4.189, p<0,05). Hasil penelitian ini memberi impilkasi bagi pentingnya pengembangan keterampilan self regulated learning dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan Self-Regulated Learning, Prestasi Belajar Matematika, MTS.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan tingkat keterampilan menulis cerpen yang signifikan antara pembelajaran siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Khayalan, model pembelajaran Rodrigues-Badaczewski, dan model pembelajaran konvensional ; (2) menguji apakah penggunaan model pembelajaran Khayalan dan model pembelajaran Rodrigues-Badaczewski mangkus digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri se-Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group design. This research is experimental research using pretest-posttest control group design. The result brings to the conclusion that (1) there is a significant difference of short story writing skill between students who learn it by Imagine learning model and conventional learning model; (2) there is a significant difference of short story writing skill between students who learn it by Rodrigues-Badaczewski learning model and conventional learning model; (3) there is not a significant difference of short story writing skill between students who learn it by Rodrigues-Badaczewski learning model and Imagine learning model; (4) Rodrigues-Badaczewski learning model and Imagine learning model are effective for short story writing learning on grade VII students in junior high school in Brebes Regency. Probability value on 0.000 (p<0.05) obtained from Scheffe variant analysis on posttest data of control group and first experimental group and probability value on 0.000 (p<0.05) obtained from Scheffe variant analysis on posttest data of control group and second experimental group.Keywords: effectiveness, Rodrigues-Badaczewski learning model, Imagine learning model, short story writing, Junior High School students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) karakteristik, (2) kriteria kelayakan, dan (3) keefektifan media komik model PBL pada pembelajaran IPA di SMP kelas VII dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir analitis dan sikap ilmiah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengadaptasi model Borg & Gall yang terdiri dari lima tahap. Subjek coba pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Sentolo. Pengujian lapangan menggunakan kuasi eksperimen nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran IPA berbentuk komik: (1) memiliki karakteristik: alur cerita sesuai sintaks PBL, judul komik merupakan integrasi dari KD 4.3, KD 7.3, dan KD 7.4, cerita dalam komik memuat indicator berfikir analitis, tokoh dalam komik diperankan melalui sikap ingi tahu dan berfikir terbuka, (2) layak digunakan dengan kriteria sangat baik dan (3) efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir analitis dan sikap ilmiah siswa.Kata Kunci: media komik, kemampuan berfikir analitis, dan sikap ilmiah Developing Science Comic Media Using the Problem-Based Learning Model to Increase the Analytical Thinking Ability and Scientific Attitude  AbstractThis research aims to knows: (1) the characteristic, (2) feasibility, and (3) effectiveness of natural science teaching media in the form of comic using problem-based learning model to increase the analytical thinking ability and scientific attitude of grade VII students of junior high school. This study was research and development adapting the model from Borg & Gall consisting of five steps. The research subjects were grade VII students of SMP N 1 Sentolo. The main try out used quasi-experimental with the nonequivalent control group design. The results of this research show that (1) the characteristic of comic media are: has a stories according the syntax of Problem Based Learning model, integrated title of KD 4.3, KD 7.3, and KD 7.4, the stories in comics load indicator analytical thinking ability, and the characters in the comics through scientific attitude of curiosity and open minded thinking, (2) the developed science teaching media in the form of comic is in a very good quality category, and (3) it is feasable to use to increase the students’ analytical thinking ability and scientific attitude. The effectiveness of the developed media to increase the analytical thinking ability and science attitude.Keywords: comic media, analytical thinking ability, and scientific attitude

This paper reports the result of an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design, which aims to find out the role of generative learning model and student’s basic mathematical knowledge (BMK) in the improvements of students’ mathematization and the correlation between students’ mathematization and mathematical disposition. The subjects of the study included 73 eight grade students of a junior high school. The instrument of this study was a set of mathematical tests adopted from the Indonesian National Examination (UN). The data were analyzed using t-test and non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test. This study finds that the generative learning model had effects on students’ mathematization and basic mathematical knowledge (BMK).
