The presence of Islam in the area of the Aceh community has a color that has its own focal point in the development of the socio-cultural history of the Acehnesepeople themselves. In the history of the people of Aceh, that Aceh itself consists of several small kingdoms, such as; Samudra Pasai, Peureulak, Pidie and Daya,with the unity of all the kingdoms of Aceh, then Aceh became a big country. In every business, which consists of activities and actions that are intentional toachieve a goal must have a good and strong foothold. This chapter investigates the idea of the 'Jewish contribution' that was borne on Jews, non-Jews, and the interaction between them in modern times, from the seventeenth century to the present. It determines what role 'Jewish contribution' has played in 'Jewish self-definition' and how it has influenced the political, social, and cultural history of the Jews. It also discusses the biblical heritage that Jews, Christians, and Muslims share that highlights the people of the book and the impact of biblical monotheism on the history of religions. The chapter looks at the survival of the Jews as a distinct ethnic group and a multinational religious community that wrestles with the phenomenon to understand the reasons for their survival. It mentions the tragedy of the Nazi Holocaust and the re-establishment of the Jewish state in its wake that piqued the curiosity of the world.

Museums of natural and cultural history in the 21st century hold responsibilities that are vastly different from those of the 19th and early 20th centuries, the time of many of their inceptions. No longer conceived of as cabinets of curiosities, institutional priorities are in the process of undergoing dramatic changes. This article reviews the history of the University of Alaska Museum in Fairbanks, Alaska, from its development in the early 1920s, describing the changing ways staff have worked with Indigenous individuals and communities. Projects like the Modern Alaska Native Material Culture and the Barter Island Project are highlighted as examples of how artifacts and the people who constructed them are no longer viewed as simply examples of material culture and Native informants but are considered partners in the acquisition, preservation, and perpetuation of traditional and scientific knowledge in Alaska.

In this study we are dealing with a personal correspondence that happened during the first half of the 17th century. We are analyzing the correspondence of the representatives of the Drugeth family (János Drugeth and his wife Anna Jakusith) by paying particular attention to the analysis of the people, events and background-information appearing in these letters. The detailed examination of the contents of the given letters shows that if we are familiar with the contemporary events and personal relations and have access to some necessary additional sources, we can make appropriate conclusions even from relatively sparse information. The archives of the Homonnai Drugeth family could not be saved as a complex document through different historical hardships. Its smaller parts can be found in the archives of the ducal branch of Esterházi family at the Presov Archives. Thanks to their personal relationship with Ádám Batthyány several letters of János Drugeth and Anna Jakusith survived in the Batthyány archives. The family archives of the different correspondences serve as particularly important sources and documents of the given ages since they contain social historical, economic and political information in addition to local/personal data. Without them no historian could write the history of a family or a landlord and of a county. In his doctoral thesis on the actual period, historian Zoltán Borbély writes the following words: „With families having better resources such as the Batthyány-, the Nádasdy- or the Esterházi families there are researches dealing with a deeper focus on court, estate, art and cultural history many times within the framework of an interdisciplinary research group. In addition to the processing of a certain family history a complex examination of the noble society of the Western Transdanubian region has also begun. Within this examination in parallel with the study of the stratification of the noble society, some inspiring results were obtained in connection with the regional role of a noble family, their role in the administrative system of the county and millitary affairs, their family relations and last but not least, about their lands. One of the aims of this study is to show the event and family history aspects related to their textual parts via two personal letters and to illustrate the style of the contemporary aristocratic correspondence. In our view the study has once again contributed to learn about a small piece of the Drugeth family’s history and to clarify some historical «rumors».

Human work is influenced by thinking and behavior patterns. Weaving as a result of human culture is no longer something that is considered important. Birth and development have not been comprehensively explored. Kuningan as a weaving region cannot be separated from the problem. Its development stalled during Colonial rule.This research aims to describe the development of weaving as a home industry in terms of cultural history, form of motives and management. This study aims to (1) describe the weaving motif in the Kuningan home industry; and (2) design forms of motifs that are in accordance with the history of Kuningan culture; and (3) suitable management of art applied to the Kuningan area. This research is a qualitative research where the data obtained from observations, interviews, documentation, and participant observations are presented in descriptive form. The instruments in this study were the researchers themselves with guidelines for observation, interviews, and documentation. The tools used in this study are digital cameras and writing equipment. The validity of the data from this paper is obtained by perseverance / regularity of observation and publication of research results. Analysis of the data used in the form of reduction, presentation of data, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate (1) the weaving motifs of home industry production are not in accordance with the development of other textile arts, such as batik. Then the form of the motive produced is the result of interference from outside countries; and (2) Kuningan home industry weaving is not in the right management, as evidenced by the death of the industry in the present.This research uses the theory of visual history and methods of anthropological approaches, forms of aesthetics, and symbols that are relevant to the subject and subject matter of the problem. So, the context that was built to be legitimate, text, oral and visual, both now and past has been used as a reconstruction. The contents of the study and his work aroused community sensitivity in formulating natural and human development constructions. The general objective of this research is the point of awareness, that it creates filters, balance, and makes a counter of global forces that try to make Indonesian society artificial.This research is expected to emit reference needs for public creativity in general. The written phrases are expected to be able to inspire the sensitivity of the people of Indonesia, to further dynamize the transmission method in the construction of the community.

Pelayanan musik adalah sangat penting dalam ibadah. Karena itu Kitab Mazmur juga menyatakan hal-hal mengenai pelayanan tersebut. “petiklah kecapi baik-baik” memberikan pengertian bahwa pelayanan musik bukanlah semata-mata menyangkut kemampuan memainkan alat musik saja. Tetapi lebih jauh dari hal itu adalah menyangkut kedalaman batin pemusik dalam penyembahannya kepada Tuhan yang menyangkut keseluruhan kehidupan sang pelayan tersebut.              Ia adalah orang yang benar di dalam Tuhan: ia adalah seorang yang memiliki hati yang telah dibaharui oleh Tuhan, dia adalah seorang yang dosanya telah diampuni, telah diselesaikan di hadapan Tuhan. Dia adalah seorang yang jujur artinya dia adalah seorang yang berintegritas dan tidakada kemunafikan. Seorang pelayan musik yang benar adalah yang memiliki sikap yang benar yang jiwanya penuh sukacita dalam memuji Tuhan, yang hatinya penuh dengan pujian kepada Allah. Dia juga dapat memainkan alat-alat musik dengan benar: ia memahami musik dengan benar dan memahami bagaimana bermusik yang dikenan Tuhan. Seorang pelayan musik juga memiliki kesungguhan hati dan perlu mempersiapkan dengan matang melalui latihan-latihan sebelum memulai pelayanannya. Seorang pelayan musik juga adalah seorang yang tiap waktu mengharapkan kasih setia Tuhan, sehingga ia tidak mengandalkan dirinya sendiri, yang hatinya penuh pengagungan dan kekaguman kepada Tuhan. Ia hendaknya mengetahui alasan kenapa ia bermain musik dan melayani musik dengan baik-baik. Ia mengerti alasannya yaitu karena Firman Tuhan telah menjadikan segala sesuatu, bahwa Tuhan yang ia layani adalah yang memiliki rancangan ygng menentukan sejaah umat-Nya, yang perhatian-Nya kepada manusia seluruhnya, dan Ia adalah Tuhan yang menyelamatkan orang yang takut akan Dia. Pemahaman akan hal-hal tersebut akan sangat berpengaruh pada seluruh ibadah dan kemajuan penyembahan umat kepada Allah dan kehidupan umat yang mempermuliakan Allah, Sang Juruselamat. Music ministry is very important in worship. Therefore the Psalms also state matters regarding the ministry. "Pick the harp well" gives the sense that the service of music is not solely concerned with the ability to play an instrument. But further than that it concerns the inner depth of the musician in his worship of God concerning the whole life of the servant. He is a righteous person in God: he is a person who has a heart that has been renewed by God, he is a person whose sins have been forgiven, resolved before God. He is an honest person meaning he is a person of integrity and no hypocrisy. A true music steward is one who has the right attitude whose soul is full of joy in praising God, whose heart is full of praise to God. He can also play musical instruments correctly: he understands music correctly and understands how music is pleasing to God. A music steward also has sincerity and needs to prepare carefully through exercises before starting his ministry. A music steward is also someone who is always expecting God's love, so he does not rely on himself, whose heart is full of admiration and admiration for God. He should know the reasons why he plays music and serves music well. He understands the reason that is because the Word of God has made everything, that the Lord he serves is the one who has a design that determines the history of His people, whose attention is to the whole human being, and He is the God who saves those who fear Him. Understanding these things will greatly affect the entire worship and progress of the worship of the people to God and the lives of people who glorify God, the Savior.

The article focuses on the first period in the history of Australian cinema. It is well-known that the present is always rooted in the past. This is true of any national cinema, and the Australian one is no exception. This subject is relevant in the light of the fact that, in the first place, the reasons for the contemporary boom in Australian cinema are impossible to understand and analyze unless they are derived from the awareness of the first steps of Australian cinema. It was in the very first years of the existence of Australian cinema that there emerged a special worldview, inherent in the cinematographic messages of this nation, that would later become iconic of Australian cinema: addressing the reality of Australia, love for its wild and beautiful nature and for the people who civilize this severe land. In their works the filmmakers of the Green Continent have almost always unflaggingly introduced two protagonists, an animate one, a manly, daring human being, and an inanimate one, the nature, magnificent, powerful, unexplored... At the same time, there was formed an image of a Hero: a fair, proud man, for whom honor and dignity are closely linked to striving for freedom. A conflict between the Individual and a soulless system is manifested in the early bushranger films and in the contemporary ones alike, now that the films by the Australian filmmakers come out again and again featuring the Individuals attempts at breaking his bondage. The novelty of this research lies in the fact that while the contemporary period of Australian cinema is well-covered in the global film criticism, the past of this national cinema is almost unknown. Considering the interest in the phenomenon of the contemporary cinema of the Green Continent, the author concludes that the global success of the Australian films today is largely linked to the accomplishments of the cinema pioneers, who against tough competition from American and English films, have laid a foundation for the future victories of this special national cinema.

Why does W. G. Sebald’s Austerlitz escape from the laws of fictionality and factuality? How do so many of the people and place names inside of it start so improbably with the letter A? Why do so many iterations of A—as initials, as markings, or as individual letters—appear somewhat frequently and prominently? Why does the return of the repressed coincide with the completion of a crossword puzzle taking place in a used bookstore? Why is the puzzle located in the Telegraph? Why, of all people, is the owner of the bookstore named Penelope? What role do the bookstores, museums, and libraries play? Finally, what is the question that Sebald’s Austerlitz is supposed to answer? To answer these questions, a historically problematized rereading of the text is necessary. In terms of the History of Ideas, these questions recall Walter Benjamin’s interpretation of Proust and his Arcades Project; in terms of cultural history, the rise of the crossword puzzle; and in terms of the sources behind Austerlitz, a book and a radio program that have been either ignored or underappreciated in the criticism.

One of the chief promises of the emerging history of capitalism is its capacity to problematize and historicize relationships between economic inequality and capital's social, political, and ecological domain. At their best, the new works creatively integrate multiple historiographic approaches. Scholars are bringing the insights of social and cultural history to business history's traditional actors and topics, providing thick descriptions of the complex social worlds of firms, investors, and bankers, while resisting rationalist, functionalist, and economistic analyses. They are also proceeding from the assumption that capitalism is not reducible to the people that historians have typically designated as capitalists. As they've shown, the fact that slaves, women, sharecroppers, clerks, and industrial laborers were, to different degrees, denied power in the building of American capitalism did not mean that they were absent from its web, or that their actions did not decisively shape its particular contours.

Every human being should be a leader both for himself and his family. In reality, not all of human can become leader who are leading the people they lead. This swriting is going to describe the situational leaders who have a leadership style in accordance with the prevailing circumstances of the current rapid social change in the context of islamic education. To explain the situational leadership in islamic education, this paper reviewed various islamic literatures both national and internation cotext. Therefore, the findings of this resaerch were the leadership in islamic intitution is not able to adjust the situation with the current changes. Morever, the Islamic educational institution a leader leads will not be able to compete with the general and Islamic educational institutions that have modernized using the curriculum desired by the government and outside community.

This paper focuses on the history of Islamic studies and the growth of Muslim edification scheme subsequent to the arrival of Islam in South Asia (712 A.D) and also explores the key role played by the Emperors in its establishment since 1206 A.D. Thereafter, it will highlight the efforts of Muslim rulers in introducing religious-cum-modern education system through Madrassah (religious seminaries) in Indo-Pakistan Sub-continent including the period of British-India from 1757 to 1947 A.D. which adversely affected the Muslim education system by introducing foreign educational reforms to target the curriculum of the Islamic education system. The paper will shed light on the development of Madrassahin Pakistan and the 9/11 incident that has drastically affected the image of the religious seminaries in imparting Islamic education to the people in the global community.
