Many problems the absence of students is one of the things that causes the learning process is not optimal and this becomes an important role of guidance and counseling services through information services. The purpose of this study was to reveal the forms of student absence and the quality of the implementation of information services about absenteeism. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research, the sample used was 123 students using porous sampling technique. Data collected using questionnaire absenteeism and the scale of the implementation of information services about student absence (33 items valid, α = 0.851). Data analysis using percentage analysis and also t-test. The results showed that the most absent form of the students did was not entering school without permission 35 (28.4%) times and the least was days not going to school ie 2 (1.6%) times. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the implementation of information services about student absenteeism both conducted by state high school and private high school teachers with a good category of 71.67%.

One of the BK's teacher roles at school is optimize the learning result of student. Self regulated learning (SRL) and locus of control (LOC) are the factors that greatly influencethe learning result of student. This research is based on inconsistency research innovating about SRL and LOC ofmen and women from all kind of the cultures in Indonesia. The goals of this research are:  (1) to describe SRL and LOC (2) to examine the differences of SRL and LOC of the students  based on sex and cultural background.This research is quantitative descriptive and comparative. The populations are student at SMAN 1 Batusangkarand at SMAN 1 Balige(2015-2016). The sample were taken by using random sampling technique, the total of the sample is 350 students. Data were analyzed by percentage and MANOVAtechnique.The result of this research show that (1) SRL are quite good and LOC is belong to internalization (2) there is no significant difference of students who have Minangkabau and Batak, there are significant difference on SRL of male and female students in Minangkabau, and LOC there is not difference, there are significant differences in SRL of male and female students in Batak, and LOC is no difference, there are no significant differences on men and women in Minangkabau and Batak. The implications of the results of this research can be used as input to create a program of guidance and counseling services, especially in the development of learning.

The research aims to know the argumentation skill profile and the difference of students' argumentation skill between 10th MS (Match and Science) and 11th MS in Batik 1 Senior High School of Surakarta on Biodiversity material. The type of research is descriptive quantitative using survey method. Population research is all students or 400 students of class 10th and 11th MS in SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. Sampling technique using stratified proportional random sampling. The instrument to measure the skills of the user is using essay handbooks. Analysis of argumentability was using Toulmin's Argumentation Pattern (TAP). The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive. The results showed the quality of the students' argumentation in one of the Private High School Surakarta in sufficient category. Percentage of achievement of each indicator is 68% claim, 60% warrant, 53% data, 45% s backing and 0% rebuttal. The result of t-test got sig. (2-tailed) about 0.002. therefore we can conclude that argumentation skill of 10th and 11th MS in SMA Batik 1 Surakarta have significant differences of class X and XI argumentation skill shows a significant differences, although the argumentation skill quality of both cluster class is enough.

This study aims to: (1) look for the highest and lowest values in number and algebraic material of Junior High School in East Lombok, (2) the percentage of errors made by students when answering math problems, and (3) the diagnosis of student’s misconception in doing number and algebra at Junior High School in East Lombok. This research is a quantitative- descriptive research. For the sampling technique, this study used purposive sampling. The test was conducted in five classes with 200 students as research participants. The sampling took into account the level of students’ ability and school readiness. The sampling size is 361 students from five schools. The data were in the form of students’ responses and those were analyzed using the Quest program. The results of this study are as follows. First, in terms of the difficulty index, 40 items (47%) are easy category items, 8% are medium category items, and 45% are difficult category items. Out of the 40 problems, 82% of the items have good difficulty index, while 18% are not good. Of the four alternative answers, 88% of the distractor is in a good category, and 12% are not good. Second, based on the students’ answers, the percentage of error is 52 %. Third, based on the result of the analysis using the Quest program, of the tow materials, the biggest misconception is in number with the percentage of 68%. The dominant error is in the indicator representing fractions in various forms, with a percentage of 22%.

This study is a descriptive exploratory study. This study was conducted to analyze the guidance and counseling services in the career field that suits with the career needs of senior high school students. There were ten students of grade 12 in one of senior high school who participated in this study. Those students were chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The collection of data in this study was done by using interviews and need assessment instrument to investigate the needs of senior high school students in the field of career. The collected data then were analyzed with a descriptive method and exploratory. The research results show that senior high school students need the classical tutoring and individualized counseling services in the field of career counseling and counseling services, along with the subject of services that are required.

formulate the learning plan, method comprehension and approach, curriculum, learning motivation as well as learning evaluation instrument. This research was aimed to discover the skill difference of pedagogical knowledge of biology teachers compared to different educational backgrounds. The method of this research was a quantitative-descriptive through proportional random sampling technique for sample collection. The population of this research was the entire biology teachers in State High School of Lebak Banten. The collected samples were 18 biology teachers with different educational backgrounds. This research was performed in State High Schools spread among the area of Lebak-Banten. The analysis results of the data of pedagogical knowledge question items have indicated that the average teachers with biology education background has higher score (73.33) and 0.033<0.05 value has acquired based on t-test result. It means that there is a significant difference between teachers who have biology education background compared to teachers with non-education backgrounds

School counseling and counseling services are a support service for either individual or group learners in order to solve the current problem. In the implementation of the service activities on the program that has succeeded by the supervising teacher by paying attention to the needs and problems of the learners. At the end of the service, one of the stages that must be performed by the supervising teacher is the evaluation. The problem in this research is how the implementation of guidance and counseling service program in overcoming the behavior of ditching students in High School YP Unila Bandar Lampung. This type of qualitative research is field research (field research) with the type of descriptive research. The population in this study are all students of class X, principal, student waka, and tutor. Data completion technique using interview method, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate the implementation of evaluation activities guidance and counseling program in addressing the behavior of ditching class X students at YP Unila Bandar Lampung High School.

Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education has been implemented since 2008 at Olongapo City National High School (OCNHS) as part of the Madrasah Education Program for our Filipino Muslim learners. This study aimed to assess the implementation of Madrasah Education Program in a national high school and to propose an action plan. A quantitative-descriptive research design was used in the study. A survey questionnaire was answered by six (6) teachers and (1) head teacher. Respondents were chosen using purposive sampling technique. Based on the findings of the study: 1) teachers have competence on knowledge, attitude and skills, 2) school facilities provide a conducive room for learning, 3) instructional materials were updated, 4) there is no enough support from LGU and 5) DepEd properly monitors and supports the program. Teachers’ competence, school facilities, instructional materials and DepEd support are present already but the school can still innovate to reach greater heights. On the other hand, LGU support should also be sought to further involve all stakeholders in the development of the program. It is hereby recommended that the action plan devised to address the findings of the study be implemented as part of the Improvement Plan of the ALIVE Program of OCNHS.

Arabic language is the basic of all the religious subjects in Madrasah Aliyah. The student derived from senior high school, Arabic is the new subject in which they did not learn in SMP (junior high school), and it is possibly emerged the difficulty from them. This study describes the student’s learning motivation who derived from SMP in learning Arabic on the terms of  perseverance on learning Arabic, the needs on learning Arabic, the expected of learning Arabic, and interested on learning Arabic. This research was a descriptive research  by using quantitative approach. The population of this research was the Eleventh grade student of MAN 1 Sungai Penuh who derived from SMP in 2014/2015 academic years. The sample of this research was 124 students that had been choosen by proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used likert scale. Then analyzed by using statistic technique. The finding of the research shown that: 1) The level of students motivation derived from SMP on learning Arabic were the average rating, (a) On the subvariable of perseverance on learning Arabic was on the low criterion, (b) the subvariable of needs on learning Arabic was on the average criterion, (c) the subvariable expected on learning Arabic was on the low criterion (d) subvariable of interest on learning Arabic was on the low criterion. 2) The counseling services could be given to improve the student motivation on learning Arabic who derived from SMP which based on the result of this research were; oriented service, information service, the individual consult service, the group guiding service and the group consulting service.

This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence of female students who wear the full face veil. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The sampling technique was carried out with a total sampling of 38 students who wore the veil from several universities in Indonesia. The research instrument uses a Likert-shaped Emotional Intelligence Scale owned by Dika Sahputra. Questionnaires are distributed online through the Google Forms application from November 2019 to January 2020. The results showed that in general the emotional intelligence of students who wore the full face veil was in the high category. These results can be used as a basis for making programs for guidance and counseling services in tertiary institutions, as well as being the basis for policy making for university leaders and the government towards female students and women who use the full face veil

According to data Basic Healt Research (Riskesdas) in 2016, as many as 22,7% women of reproductive age more than 15 years indicate anemia. Anemia that often occurs is iron deficiency anemia, the incidence reaches 50% of the total anemia. There is a significant relationship between nutritional status and incidence of anemia in adolescent.This study was an observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. This study was conducted in private high school Santa Lusia Medan. The population of this study were adolescent girl with a total sample 74 using total sampling technique. The research material in the form scales and height measurements to measure boddy mass index, quesioner for iron consumption patterns and consumption habits of Fe tablet and hemoglobin levels were examined using haemometer digital. Data analysis used chi square test (α=0,005).The results of the research are variabels related to anemia incidence are body mass index (sig=0,019), iron consumption patterns (sig=0,017), Fe tablet consumption habit (sig=0,045). Conclusion this study is factor causing anemia in adolescent girls is the pattern of iron consumption. Adolescent girl who have irreguler iron consumption pattern have an oppurtunity to experience anemia of 4,250 compared to adolescent girl who have reguler iron consumption patterns.
