Today, Peer-to-Peer SIP based communication systems have attracted much attention from both the academia and industry. The decentralized nature of P2P might provide the distributed peer-to-peer communication system without help of the traditional SIP server. However, the decentralization features come to the cost of the reduced manageability and create new concerns. Until now, the main focus of research was on the availability of the network and systems, while few attempts are put on protecting privacy. In this chapter, we investigate on P2PSIP security issues and introduce two enhancement solutions: central based security and distributed trust security, both of which have their own advantages and disadvantages. After that, we study appropriate combination of these two approaches to get optimized protection. Our design is independent of the DHT (Distributed Hash Table) overlay technology. We take the Chord overlay as the example, and then, analyze the system in several aspects: security & privacy, number-of the hops, message flows, etc.

Recent years have witnessed a great technological evolution in video display and capturing technologies leading to the development of new standards of video coding including MPEG-X, H.26X and HEVC. The cost of computations, storage and high bandwidth requirements makes a video data expensive in terms of transmission and storage. This makes video compression absolutely necessary prior to its transmission in order to accommodate for different transmission media's capabilities. Digital video compression technologies therefore have become an important part of the way we create, present, communicate and use visual information. The main aim behind a video compression system is to eliminate the redundancies from a raw video signal. The tradeoff involved in the process of video compression is between the speed, quality and resource utilization. The current chapter explores the techniques, challenges, issues and problems in video compression in detail along with the major advancements in the field.

Abstract With the development of e-commerce and the improvement of logistics requirements, more and more ‘parts-to-picker’ picking systems begin to replace the inefficient ‘picker-to-parts’ picking systems in various scenarios. As the mainstream ‘parts-to-picker’ system, the robotic mobile fulfillment system has been attracting much attention in recent years. In addition to the customer's changing requirements, the rapid response of the picking system to the order is particularly important. In the above context, to seek a breakthrough in the picking system's picking efficiency without increasing the cost of additional equipment, the storage allocation of the pods becomes very important. This article focuses on the dynamic storage allocation of robotic mobile fulfillment system, which has positive theoretical and practical significance. By analyzing the pod storage process of the robotic mobile fulfillment system, a dynamic pod storage allocation model suitable for the robotic mobile fulfillment system is established with the goal of minimizing the pod handling distance. Two dynamic pod storage allocation strategies are proposed for the system. By simulating the picking systems of different scales, the effectiveness of the dynamic storage allocation strategy is verified, which has a certain reference to the operation of the robotic mobile fulfillment system in practice.

The article is devoted to reengineering of technological processes - a method of their qualitative transformation on an innovative basis, which in turn assumes the availability of tools that make it possible to establish the economic efficiency and technical capability of such transformations of construction production, to identify the effect of their implementation. In this regard, the problem of forming a parametric model of reengineering of construction technological processes, which involves four enlarged groups of indicators that reflect the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the processes: materials used, working time, machine time, spatial organization, is considered. It is established that parameters can have either an absolute (physical, cost) or relative (point, percentage) expression and also make their own decomposition. The practical significance of the provisions given in the article is determined by the development of methods of technical rationing, which leads to a reduction in the cost and duration of construction.
