This research aims to find out the use of Cooperative Learning model in improving reading ability (Reading Comprehension Skills). This action research was undertaken over a period of three months from the beginning of January 2020 to the end of March 2020 which involved 30 students consisting of 17 male students and 13 female students. Cooperative Learning Model by using the Cutting Passage method was successfully demonstrated by increasing the value of student evaluation results. This method makes students become disciplined in searching for vocabulary before starting learning to understand reading. This method leaves the teacher's habit in delivering material not only using lecture and discussion methods.

The purpose of this study was to improve students' reading comprehension skills by using the DRA strategy using the classroom action research method in class I with 28 students with the results of research on teacher observation activities in the first cycle of meeting I in the low category with a score of 10 or 50.00%. At the second meeting, cycle I experienced an increase with the acquisition of a score of 12 or 60.00% in the sufficient category. In the second cycle of the first meeting, the teacher's activity has increased with the acquisition of a score of 15 or 75.00% in the good category, and in the second cycle of the second meeting, the teacher's activity has increased with a score of 17 or 85.00% in the very good category. The ability to read comprehension of class II students using the DRA strategy on classical completeness before taking action with an average of 39.29 in the incomplete category. After taking action by doing the DRA strategy, it was obtained an average classical completeness of 50 in the incomplete category, after reflecting on learning in cycle I was corrected for deficiencies in cycle II with completeness results reaching 79 in the complete category even though it was not in accordance with the high target of improvement.

This study aims to improve students' reading ability through the first grade scramble students of SD Negeri 002 Benteng, Kecamatan Sungai Batang, which are 28 students with 11 male students and 17 female students with heterogeneous ability. This study is based on the low ability of students' learning outcomes and lack of awareness of teachers to implement an effective, innovative, and cooperative learning. The study was conducted from September 3, 2016 to October 8, 2016. This study is a classroom action research (PTK) consisting of two cycles. Minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and average analysis are used to determine whether or not improvement of student learning outcomes before and after using the scramble learning model. The results of this study indicate that the number of students who reach KKM in the initial data is only 10 people (36%), cycle I is 16 people (57%), and the second cycle is 25 people (89%). The average student score at baseline was 68.4; cycle I increased to 75,9; in the second cycle increased again to 83,6. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the model of learning scramble can improve reading ability in Indonesian language students class I of SD Negeri 002 Benteng, Kecamatan Sungai Batang.

The ability to read in the Raudhotul Atfal (RA) education unit makes the study interesting especially in terms of Arabic reading skills. This study aims to improve the reading ability of RA Mambaul Barokah's children syllables using the Cantol Roudhoh Technique. The subjects were group B children in RA Mambaul Barokah with 20 students consisting of 8 male students and 12 female students. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was carried out using 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Data collection methods used are descriptive and qualitative analysis. The results of preliminary observations before the action showed that children who had mastery reading ability of syllables reached 55%, in the implementation of learning with cantol roudhoh technique in the first cycle rose to 57% and in the second cycle to 95%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the cantol roudhoh method is able to improve syllable reading in RA Mambaul Barokah students in the 2018/2019 school year.

This research aimed to investigate the effect of employing the RAP as a strategy to develop the reading comprehension skills among seventh graders in Gaza governorates. For the purpose of the study, the quasi-experimental approach was used on a sample of (80) female students from Rafah Martyrs' Preparatory Girls' School divided into two equivalent groups. The experimental group included (44) female students, while the control one included (36) female students. The tools of data collection were a checklist of reading comprehension skills and reading comprehension test. To analyze the collected data, t-test was conducted. Furthermore, to examine the effectiveness of RAP strategy in developing reading comprehension skills, the effect size was measured. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences at (0.05 ≥ (in the mean scores of the reading comprehension skills in favor of the experimental group. In light of these results, the researchers recommended that English teachers use RAP strategy to develop reading comprehension skills for students.
