scholarly journals Theoretical Analysis of the Term “Professional Socialization” of Future Economists

The article deals with the problem of professional socialization of future economists, affirms the need for professional socialization of students in the learning process on the basis of the analysis of scientific and methodical literature, defines the term “professional socialization”, provides a schematic representation of the structure of professional socialization, presents the conditions of successful professional socialization, analyses the specifics of professional activities of economists. Author defines “Foreign language” as a discipline having great potential for forming professional socialization. The aim of the research: the main aim of this article is to review various ideas of professional scientists on the theory and practice of professional socialization, to clarify the notion of professional socialization. Research methods: the main research method used while working on the article is literature analysis for critical consideration of different scholars ideas on professional socialization and educational environments; also comparative method, content abstraction and generalisation are applied for concretising the notion of the term "professional socialization". Results: the notion of professional socialization and its structural concepts are concretised, grounded and described.

Purpose: The main aim of the article is to define the approaches to the formation of future engineers’ communicative culture. The main research method used while working on the article is analysis of the domestic and foreign publication space for critical consideration of different ideas on the pedagogical problem of the future engineers’ foreign language communicative culture formation process. Methodology: In this study Content abstraction, generalization and the comparative method was applied. Result: The approaches (cultural, connectivism, technological, axiological, communicative, environmental approach) will help to the formation of the communicative culture of future engineers in the process of foreign language training. Applications: This research can be used for engineers and companies. Novelty/Originality: In this research, the model of approaches to future engineers' foreign communicative culture formation is presented in a comprehensive and complete manner.

В работе систематизирован зарубежный опыт в направлении использования методов и инструментов государственного управления малым и средним предпринимательством. Статья основана на применении процессного подхода к изучению вопроса исследования, в рамках которого акцентируется воздействие субъекта на объект, то есть под управлением в данном исследовании будет пониматься процесс воздействия субъекта управления на управляемый объект для достижения определенной цели, при наличии обратной связи, осуществляемого с учетом воздействия внешней среды. Результаты представленного исследования вносят вклад в развитие и систематизацию теории и практики предпринимательства. Создание благоприятных условий, в частности благодаря изучению зарубежного опыта, будет способствовать развитию как малого и среднего предпринимательства, так и динамичному прогрессивному развитию территории, повышая тем самым благосостояние её населения. Будущими направлениями исследования станут анализ и оценка инфраструктуры поддержки и управления предпринимательской деятельности на локальной территории региона. The purpose of this paper is to systematize foreign experience in applying the public management methods and tools for small and medium-sized businesses. The main research methods were as follows: a group of general scientific methods within the framework of comparative, logical and statistical analysis, as well as the structure analysis; a group of empirical methods, including a review of the literature and performance. A combination of the following scientific methods was used to process the factual information: dialectical, logical, comparative, method of scientific generalizations, as well as the tabular analysis. The sources were the results of the scientific research in studying the concept of "public administration method" and more specialized methods of public administration - administrative-legal and economic, as well as the regulations of the executive authorities and the official published reports of the Government Banks. The research methodology is based on the works of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of public administration, based on administrative-legal and economic methods to stimulate the entrepreneurial activity in the small business sector. This paper is based on the application of the process approach to studying the research issue, which emphasizes the impact of the subject on the object, that is, management in this study will be understood as the process of the control subject impact on the controlled object to achieve a certain goal, with feedback, carried out in response to the impact of the external environment. The results of the research contribute to the development and systematization of the entrepreneurship theory and practice. The creation of favorable conditions, in particular due to the study of foreign experience, will contribute to the development of both small and medium- sized businesses and the area progressive and dynamic development, thereby improving the well-being of its population. Future areas of the research will include the analysis and evaluation of the business support and management infrastructure in the local area of the region.

С опорой на собственный педагогический опыт в обучении русскому языку как иностранному в аудитории носителей китайского языка путем систематизации и обобщения имеющихся наработок авторы предлагают оригинальную концепцию, в русле которой описываются типы вторичных языковых личностей, выделяемые на основании компетентностного подхода. В ходе исследования привлекаются сравнительно-сопоставительный метод, наблюдение и метод научного описания. Полученные в ходе исследования результаты позволяют говорить о том, что в изучении деятельности вторичной языковой личности, направленной на овладение русским языком как иностранным, наиболее эффективным видится применение компетентностного подхода. Данный подход позволяет изучать вторичную языковую личность в динамике становления ее компетентностных свойств на каждом выделенном этапе развития: становления вторичной языковой личности как пользователя иностранным языком, формирования у инофона системы специальных знаний и навыков в отношении изучаемого языка, профессионального владения иностранным языком. Представленная типология вторичных языковых личностей, выделенная на основании компетентностного подхода, может найти применение в современной лингводидактике. The current stage of world historical development is characterized by a tendency towards economic and cultural rapprochement between countries and peoples, which forms a certain social order in the use of functional capabilities of both native and foreign languages by carriers in order to implement strategically important life tasks: educational, industrial, everyday – household, scientific, cultural. Mastering the Russian language by a foreign native speaker should take into account the achievements of a number of branches of scientific knowledge: linguodidactics, general pedagogy and psychology, theories of speech and textual activity, the theory of linguistic personality, psycholinguistics, communication science, subject methodology (theory and practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language). Based on their own pedagogical experience in teaching Russian as a foreign language in the audience of native Chinese speakers, by systematizing and generalizing the existing developments, the authors propose an original concept, in which the types of secondary linguistic personalities are described, distinguished on the basis of the competence approach. In the course of the study, the comparative method, observation and the method of scientific description are involved. Mastering a foreign language marks a certain level of competence characteristics of an inauthentic speaker. The most “advanced” level of proficiency in Russian as a foreign language presupposes the conscious use of the resources of the language, expressed in the ability to correctly assess the situation in terms of relevance, ethics and communicative expediency of use. From these positions, a secondary linguistic personality is understood as a carrier who masters a foreign language in an authentic socio-cultural context and relying on it in order to implement the tasks of effective multicultural communication. At the same time, the carrier demonstrates a certain level of development of competencies: linguistic, linguocultural, intercultural and communicative. The results obtained in the course of the study allow us to say that in the study of the activity of a secondary linguistic personality aimed at mastering Russian as a foreign language, the most effective is the use of a competence-based approach. This approach allows us to study the secondary linguistic personality in the dynamics of the formation of its competence properties at each stage of development that we have identified: the formation of the secondary linguistic personality as a user of a foreign language, the formation of a system of special knowledge and skills in the foreign language in relation to the target language, professional knowledge of a foreign language. The presented typology of secondary linguistic personalities, highlighted on the basis of the competence-based approach, can be used in modern linguodidactics.

The article’s purpose is to present the idea of transport on own account (non-commercial), its main areas and to assess the role of this type of transport in the creation of road transportation in Poland as well as the identification of regulations and norms which are connected with the possibility to carry out this type of transportation. The article has a character of a review, therefore literature analysis is the main research method used. Statistical data and legal regulations are also analysed. The method of time comparison is used in the article.

Введение. Описываются содержание и итоги научного семинара, посвященного изучению актуальных вопросов преподавания русского языка как иностранного в поликультурном пространстве. Цель – осветить работу VI Международного научно-методического семинара «Преподавание русского языка как иностранного: теория и практика». Материал и методы. Наблюдение, описание, реферативный обзор докладов участников семинара. Результаты и обсуждение. Указаны направления межкультурной коммуникации в преподавании русского языка как иностранного между иностранными обучающимися и преподавателями, проблемы и перспективы лингвокультурологического образования в вузе, роль научно-исследовательской работы иностранных студентов в области лингводискурсиологии, функциональной семантики, функциональной лексикологии в формировании основ профессиональной деятельности бакалавров и магистрантов. Анализ содержания докладов и их обсуждения участниками семинара позволил установить актуальные инструменты и методы организации обучения русскому языку как иностранному в аспекте межкультурного взаимодействия. Заключение. Определены планы междисциплинарного изучения проблем обучения русскому языку как иностранному в вузе и школе. Introduction. The content and results of a scientific seminar devoted to the study of topical issues of teaching Russian as a foreign language in a multicultural space are described. The goal is to highlight the work of the VI International scientific and methodological seminar “The teaching Russian as a foreign language: theory and practice”. Material and methods. Observation, description, abstract review of the reports of the seminar participants. Results and discussion. The directions of intercultural communication in teaching Russian as a foreign language between foreign students and teachers, problems and prospects of linguoculturological education at the university, the role of research work of foreign students in the field of linguistic discourseology, functional semantics, functional lexicology in the formation of the foundations of the professional activities of bachelors and undergraduates are indicated. The analysis of the content of the reports and their discussion by the participants of the seminar made it possible to establish the actual tools and methods of organizing the teaching of Russian as a foreign language in the aspect of intercultural interaction. Conclusion. Plans for an interdisciplinary study of the problems of teaching Russian as a foreign language at a university and school have been identified.

The article analyzes distance learning and educational processes, such as education, pedagogical technologies, methods and upbringing in the context of globalization trends in the postmodern world. The new technologies, which have prompted and eventually led to globalization processes, indicate the need to master these new technologies since teaching today requires one to apply one’s professional results efficiently. The trend of education is globalization, which seems inevitable under a dramatically changing educational reality. Global education is defined as one of the areas in the development of current pedagogical theory and practice. It aims to prepare learners for professional activities in a changing and increasingly interdependent world. Indeed, globalization lies in implementing and using internet technologies in education. Recognizing the multiplicity of meanings and views, the postmodern society is entering a state of crisis. It is because the Covid-19 pandemic and, consequently, new living conditions associated with it, require a new worldview. In this regard, education reforms are becoming a priority, given that the 21st century is the age of information and nanotechnologies. Information technology is a prerequisite for teacher training today. At the same time, informatization of education is impossible without creating, using and developing informational and educational environments, which in turn should enable the realization of an intellectually developed individual embodying the necessary professional qualities.

Risk Management Objectives in Polish Enterprises in the Media Sector Listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange Risk management is an extremely important domain of management, conditioning the develop­ment of enterprises and business continuity, as well as developing and maintaining a competitive position. The main purpose of this text is to identify and categorize the risk management objec­tives adopted in Polish enterprises in the media sector listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE). The aim of empirical research was achieved through the use of triangulation of research meth­ods. The following methods were used in the research process: the method of analyzing the con­tent of source documents of the studied group of enterprises, the logic classification method and the comparative method. The main research findings indicate that: the overriding goal of risk man­agement in the surveyed companies formulating them in a hierarchical system is in most cases en­suring compliance with the applicable requirements of external and internal origin, and the specif­ic objectives (being components of the overarching goal) are mainly determined by the specificity of the media sector. The obtained research results refer to both the theory and practice of risk manage­ment among enterprises representing the media sector and may serve as a source of knowledge for the stakeholders of companies being listed entities, which constitutes the added value of this work.

Abstract The present paper is founded on two pillars. Firstly, it is one of the current trends in education worldwide, i.e. to connect theory and practice. Secondly, it is the need to be interculturally competent speakers of a foreign language in today’s globalized world of massive migration flows and signs of increasing ethnocentrism. Based upon these two requirements, the ability to communicate in a FL effectively and interculturally appropriately in the tourism industry is a must, since being employed in whichever of its sectors means encountering other cultures on a daily basis. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to find out undergraduate tourism students’ opinion on the importance of intercultural communicative competences for their future profession as well as their self-assessment in the given field. The findings of the research, which are to be compared to employers’ needs, revealed that there is considerable difference between the respondents’ views on the significance of the investigated issues and their self-esteem.
