The research about the population of individual inventors/innovators in Croatia was carried out with the aim of finding answers to the following questions: 1. How many inventions/patents in Croatia are (not) commercialized; 2. What are the reasons of (un)successful commercialization of Croatian individual inventors' inventions/patents; 3. Is there any correlation between various forms of support for inventors / patent owners and successful commercialization; 4. Could education/training contribute to the successful commercialization of inventions/patents? The research was designed and carried out on individual inventors/innovators in Croatia via combination of online questionnaire and telephone interviews. The acquired data were analysed by descriptive statistics and nonparametric inferential statistics. Based on the results of the research, the literature and practical experience, a typology of individual inventors / innovators has been created. The research limitations relate to the lack of the institutional data and literature regarding the individual inventors. In addition to practical contribution of the findings regarding the public policies, there is also a theoretical contribution to existing literature.

Background: Mentoring as support for both the business and the individual entrepreneur or small business owner is important for the continued perseverance of the entrepreneurial journey.Aim: Different mentoring outcomes were evaluated to establish what is being gained from the mentoring relationships to encourage other entrepreneurs and small business owners to pursue mentoring relationships.Setting: South African entrepreneurs and small business owners who were currently being mentored or had been mentored.Method: The study used a survey research design that consisted of 209 qualifying entrepreneurs and small business owners. An online questionnaire was used to collect the data. Results: The results show that there is a relationship between the different mentoring outcomes (skills transfer outcomes, knowledge transfer outcomes, entrepreneur resilience outcomes and business outcomes). In addition, it was established that as the mentoring relationship goes through the different phases of initiation, cultivation, separation and redefinition, mentoring outcomes such as skills transfer and entrepreneur resilience are independently attained. Conclusion: Understanding the outcomes of mentoring will encourage more participation in the field of mentoring for South African mentors, entrepreneurs and small business owners through awareness of the benefits thereof as well as how mentoring can form a strong supporting mechanism. This research makes a theoretical contribution by naming and grouping mentoring outcomes into four categories, such as skills transfer outcomes, knowledge transfer outcomes, entrepreneur resilience outcomes and business outcomes.

The fruition of fundamental rights like healthcare, education, worthy housing and work is directly related to the creation and implantation of universal and egalitarian public policies by the Congress and the Public Administration. In the cases where the existing public policies are shown to be insufficient, inadequate or do not achieve the fundamental goals of the Federative Republic of Brazil, it arises the need of the action of the jurisdictional function to control the constitutionality over these public policies. In Brazil, this control is made both by direct way, by means of its own constitutional actions, and by diffuse way, by means of collective actions interposed in first instances courts. In this context, the enforcement of the liberal theories like Montesquieu’s Separation of Powers and the Intangibility of the Discretionary Activities reveal themselves incoherent with the Democratic Rule-of-the-Law State. In another way, the jurisdictional action is limited by the Reasonableness, by the Possible Reserve and by the Existential Minimum, and can also find some obstacles in the individual actions that end up influencing the public policies. Therefore, there is a great effort to colectivizing individual actions by Brazilian schoolars. Another problem is the difficulty of Judical Power in using the adequate procedural class action. It will be analyzed one specific decisions made by the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo about the jurisdictional control of public policies related to the autistic people, with a goal to point out a direction to the improvement of the jurisdictional tutelage in terms of effectiveness and adequacy.

This study utilized a structured online questionnaire survey to collect 64 samples and being analyzed by PLS-SEM. The group differences that being examined were investigated with multi-group analysis.Research findings: The findings from this study revealed that not all perceptive variables from TPB were significant on young Indonesian generations toward stock investment intention; only attitudes toward behavior had a significant effect. These findings were contrary to prior literature. Besides, Indonesia's young generations’ education level also played a moderating role in influencing stock investment intention. Theoretical contribution/Originality: This preliminary study provides potential facts regarding the applicability of the Theory of Planned Behavior in the emerging market (Indonesia) in stock investment intention.Practitioner/Policy implication: The practical contribution would be insights for policymaker and Securities Firms regarding young generations’ perspective on stock investment and what possible actions in terms of policies, programs, and campaigns that need to be done to increase the growth of investors’ number in Indonesia. For public firms, the insights could be useful in constructing sustainability strategies in terms of funding source from the firm’s stock.Research limitation/Implication: The sample used for this preliminary study was restricted to young generations divided into generation Y and Z from Indonesia only. This study focused on the fundamental implementation of TPB only; hence, the individual behavioral intention analysis was limited to TPB proxies. Since an online survey using a questionnaire was used to collect the data, the findings were limited and depending on the respondents’ answers regarding the issue.

Coronavirus COVID-19 is, without a doubt, the number one international news event in 2020. The purpose of the study is to prove that the media are having a detrimental effect on the psyche and behavior of the individual by means of spreading panic within society. This study demonstrates the relationship between the information presented in the media and the reaction of the people towards it. The methodology includes the use of an online questionnaire for gathering raw data. Descriptive statistics and the ANOVA statistical analysis will further be conducted in determining the poor reaction of the individual and the spread of mass hysteria/panic by the media in the information field. People are yet disinclined to agree to the fact that the media is influencing their behavior, especially in times of crisis. And even though their responses evidently suggest that their will has been influenced by the information presented from the TV screen, not everyone has yet acknowledged the fact that TV and media propaganda is tampering with their thinking and behavior. Application of the study can further be used in a greater analysis determining the attitude of the people in various countries towards their media, and how the specific media influenced the behavior of the people changing their lives. No study in the field of media psychology has been conducted in relation to COVID-19 panic due to media propaganda.
