This study sought to determine the relationship between the work environment and sportsmanship of telecommunication companies in Port Harcourt. A research question and hypothesis were formulated in directing the framework of the study. Data was collected through a Primary source using a well-structured questionnaire. Descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics were adopted for analysis of research question and testing of hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed that the work environment of telecommunication businesses in Port Harcourt is favorably and strongly related to sportsmanship. Conclusively, an appropriate work environment is absolutely the number one fashion of every company. Sportsmanship cannot function effectively in an obsolete work environment. The physical setting/structure, job description, culture, and market conditions all contribute to the work environment. It is suggested that organizations create an environment that encourages good employee sportsmanship; organizations should pay salary as at when due, to enable employee sportsmanship; additional reward to an employee with sportsmanship should be included in the organizational policy and further training should be encouraged in the organization as a means of advancing the spirit of sportsmanship amongst employee.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the environmental supportive administrative services provided by principals for effective classroom management in public and private secondary schools in Anambra State. One research question and one null hypothesis guided the study. It was a descriptive study conducted in Anambra state covering the six education zones in the state. A total of 15,990 respondents constituted the population for the study. A sample of 852 teachers was used. The instrument for data collection is a structured questionnaire developed by the researchers. The questionnaire was duly validated by experts who are lecturers. The reliability of the instrument was also established. Cronbach alpha statistic was used to determine reliability which gave the reliability coefficient of 0.81. The instrument was administered on the respondents directly by the researchers who assisted by six research assistants. Out of 852 copies of the questionnaire distributed, 850 copies were correctly filled, retrieved and subjected to statistical analysis. The data were analyzed using mean ratings to answer the research question and t- test to test the hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. Findings indicated that, in public secondary schools, adequate workshops are not provided as part of environmental supportive administrative services for effective classroom management. Accordingly, it was among others recommended that government should organize workshops for secondary schools on environmental supportive administrative services.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between Advertising Appeals and Customer Loyalty in Telecommunication firms in Port Harcourt. The study population comprised four (4) registered and functional Telecommunication service providing firms operating in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The authors adopted a census study due to the small nature of the study population hence; there was no need for sampling. Thirty two (32) strategic managers of the four telecommunication firms constituted our respondents for the study. However, eight (8) respondents were randomly drawn from each of the telecommunication companies and thirty two (32) copies of structured questionnaire were administered to the managerial staff of the firms at their respective offices while twenty five (25) copies were retrieved, cleaned and used for the study. Descriptively, measures of central tendencies and measures of dispersions were used in analyzing the respondent’s demographics. Similarly, the Pearson Product Moment Correlation was used in testing the various hypotheses in other to ascertain the relationship between the predictor variable (Advertising Appeals) and the criterion variable (Customer Loyalty). The result of the analysis revealed that Advertising Appeals significantly influenced Customer Loyalty in Telecommunication firms in Port Harcourt. The study further discovered that amongst the dimensions of Advertising Appeals used in this study that Rational advertising appeal was found to be the most significant predictor of Customer Loyalty in Telecommunication firms in Port Harcourt. Hence, the researcher concluded that Advertising Appeals significantly affect Customer Loyalty and therefore recommended that the management of Telecommunication firms in Port-Harcourt should adopt the dimensions of advertising appeal used for the study as strategies for improving their level of customer loyalty.

This research aims to find and analyze the relationship of creativity with the emotional intelligence in the students MTs Islamiyyah Ciputat, Banten. In this study used quantitative methods. The population in this study amounted to 115 while a sample of 52 students and schoolgirls by using sampling techniques nonprobability sampling technique with type purposive sampling. In this study, data collection was conducted by sharing questionnaire poll for creativity variables and emotional intelligence variables. The results of the research that has been done first, there is a relationship between the creativity of students with the emotional intelligence of students, in the students of class VIII MTs Islamiyyah Ciputat. Secondly, The size of creativity of students with the emotional intelligence of class VIII MTs Islamiyyah Ciputat students, obtained the correlation coefficient = 0.27, with contributions, 07.29%, with significant student creativity variables and students emotional intelligence variables of 2.25. Degrees of freedom (df) 50 are consulted with Significance of 5% by 2.00. Thus obtained ≥ (0.25 > 2.00) at a level of significance 5% then Ha accepted and Ho was rejected. This indicates there is a low relationship between the creativity of students with emotional intelligence students, in the students of class VIII MTs Islamiyyah Ciputat, Tangsel, Banten. Thus that there is a relationship between creativity and emotional intelligence.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between hours of television watching and student academic achievement. The major objectives of study were examining the status of students’ television watching and the relationship between hours of television watching and academic achievement. There has been a great debate among researchers regarding this area of concern. Some support the contribution of television to academic achievement and others argue that television watching negatively influences academic achievement. Two hundred students were randomly selected for the study. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire. The data collected through questionnaire were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Students’ background information and their hours of television watching were analyzed using descriptive statistics. On the other hand, the relationship between hours of television watching and academic achievement was analyzed by Pearson moment correlation. The results show there is no statistically significant relationship between hours of television watching and academic achievement of students. Based on this, it can be concluded that television may not have a significant effect on students’ academic achievement by itself.

This research is on the relationship between celebrity endorsements and customer patronage, using the Nigeria Bottling Company (NBC) Port Harcourt as the unit of study. The survey design was adopted, using a structured questionnaire as the instrument for data collection. Two research questions and two hypotheses guided the study. The hypotheses were tested using the z-test statistic at 0.05 level of significance. It was found among others that when celebrities who are outstanding, have integrity and are knowledgeable endorse a product, customer patronage is enhanced. In addition, it was found that the attractiveness of a celebrity, consistent use of a celebrity and multiple promotional coverage enhance customer repeat purchase and increased brand loyalty. Based on the findings, it was held that there is significant relationship between endorsement coverage and repeat purchase of beverages, as well as a significant relationship between frequency of endorsements and customer brand loyalty of beverages. Consequently, recommendations were proffered that organizations should seize the opportunity of using celebrity endorsements in promoting their products, with emphasis on reliable, credible and well-accepted celebrities so as to achieve customer patronage and brand loyalty. In conclusion, organizations are advised be careful in their choices of celebrities, so as to have the right ‘personality’ of celebrity who is worth the amount paid for the services rendered.

This study examines the relationship between job crafting (task crafting and relational crafting) and employees’ performance (employees’ task performance and organizational citizen behaviour) amongst staff of MTN Nigeria Plc. This research makes use of a survey design and analysis was based on primary data generated through a structured questionnaire. Two research hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed that there was a statistically significant influence of task crafting on employees’ task performance in MTN Nigeria, Plc (R2 = .088, F = 17.844, p < 0.050). Similarly, there is a significant positive relationship between relational crafting and organizational citizen behaviour ( rp=0.331, n=187, p < 0.050). From the study, it was concluded that workers require a high degree of autonomy and independence on their jobs to perform more efficiently and effectively in order to improve their performance. It was recommended amongst others that organization should provide a flexible job design and structure as well as interpersonal relationship for its employees’ so as to enable them to better perform on the task and create organizational citizen behavior among the employees.

This research is to examine and analyze the competence of the work environment commitment of ASN Job Satisfaction. The demands of organizations to obtain, develop and maintain quality human resources are increasingly pressing in accordance with the dynamics of an ever-changing environment. In the context of efforts to achieve organizational goals. Improved employee performance individually will encourage the overall performance of human resources, which is reflected in improved performance This research. Using research models (jobfunction). Data extracted from the target or research subject is data about individual orientation, in the form of competency, commitment, work environment and performance, identified as many as 4 (four) variables to be examined, including: 1) ASN Competency, 2) Organizational Commitment, (3) Environment Work, (4) ASN Job Satisfaction and (4) ASN Performance. Respondents used as a sample of 77 respondents using the Smart PLS Algorithm Boostrapping report. The results of the study came to the conclusion of the Algorithm Boostrapping report is a test to prove the level of significance of the hypothesis proposed by researchers. Output Boostrapping Algorithm shows that the effect of ASN job satisfaction on ASN performance is influential with a T-statistic of 9,531> 1.96. The original sample estimate value is 1,058, which shows that the direction of the relationship between ASN job satisfaction and ASN performance is positive.

This study was designed to determine the Skills Improvement Needs of Building Craftsmen in Building Construction Industries for National Security in Bauchi State, Nigeria. The research adopted a descriptive survey research design. The target population for the study was 61 respondents made up of 34 Building Engineers and 27 Foremen in the Building Construction Industries. A 63 item structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The instrument was validated by three experts and Cronbach alpha reliability estimate was used to ascertain the extent of sameness of the items and reliability coefficient of 0.82 was obtained. Data was collected and analysed using statistical package for social science (SPSS Version 22), Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research question, while t-test was used to test the hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. The findings on skills required indicated that all the items are required by the respondents, and the finding on the techniques of improving skills gap indicated that the respondents agreed with all the items. Findings revealed that building craftsmen in building construction industries required all the practical skills need for improvement in their work trade in brick/block work skills, plastering/rendering skills and foundation skills for national security. The study therefore recommended among others, that Building Construction Industries should organize retraining workshop for their Craftsmen on the areas where they require skill improvements.

The study investigated developing of entrepreneurial skills among pre-service teachers through teaching of mathematics education for sustainable development. Based on the purpose of the study, one research question and two hypotheses guided the study. Analytical survey research design was adopted in carrying out the study. The population consisted of all pre-service teachers in the department of primary education studies of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri in Imo State. A sample of 90pre-service teachers was used for the study using simple random sampling technique in selecting the sample size. The instrument used for data collection was structured questionnaire titled developing entrepreneurship skills through mathematics education (DESME). The validity of the instrument was done by two experts in mathematics education and two experts in entrepreneurial education. The internal consistency of the items was established to be 0.87 using Cronbach Alpha Statistics Method. The data generated were analyzed with the aid of SPSS Version 20.0 .Descriptive statistics of mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research question while inferential statistics of Z-test, ANOVA were used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance .The result of the study showed that knowledge of mathematics is very important in the development of entrepreneurial skills while gender and levels of years of pre-service teachers do not differ in the acquisition of the entrepreneurial skills.

This study examined the relationship between religiosity and coping stress among participants who joined a religious community. The level of stress was controlled.  Seventy nine participants whose age ranged from 21 to 28 involved in the study. Data were analysed using Pearson’s Product Moment and resulted r = 0.6344 and p < 0,001 in the level of significance 5%. The study found that higher level of religiosity was related with the better coping stress strategy, thus, it can be concluded that the higher the level of the religiosity among participants the more likely that they would be better in coping stress.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada korelasi yang positif antara tingkat religiusitas dengan coping stres dengan mengendalikan tingkat stres. Variabel yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel tingkat religiusitas sebagai variabel bebas, variabel coping stres sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota kelompok pengajian di Surabaya berjumlah 95 orang dengan sampel sebanyak 79 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, untuk uji satu ekor dan taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh r = 0,6344 dengan p < 0,001 yang berarti dengan mengendalikan tingkat stres, semakin tinggi tingkat religiusitas seseorang, semakin baik pula coping stresnya.
